The place is in a beautiful spot on a beautiful lake and we enjoyed being out on the lake all dayIt seems to be rented almost constantly I think the place needs a good cleaning and touch up painting at some point during the season

We love this place! The beautiful views & water are so nice from the huge windows. It's perfect for our big group, 6 kids and 5 adults (from 11 to 76) and we love having meals together at the big table. The house is so well equiped that we have everything we need. This year there was a problem with the basement so we couldn't use it, but Tamara and Connor moved all the boats outside so we still had complete use of them. And they were in touch with us as repairs went on. They are great hosts! And we will definately be back.

We had a lovely holiday stay. The frozen lake was constantly changing with the light. The beds were comfortable and there were cozy spaces for our family to come together or have some quiet time. The driveway was plowed and sanded on all but Christmas Day, which makes sense.

Great stay with extended family. All is as represented. Really enjoyed extended views of the lake and fall colors. Use of the canoes and kayaks was a huge plus.

October Boys Weekend

The camp was clean and had a great view of Rangeley Lake. The weather wasn't great but the camp had plenty of activities to have fun inside. Was a great place to hang out and relax with friends.

What a great spot!

We had a family reunion for a week. The lake is beautiful. The canoes and kayaks were great fun. The house itself was quite comfortable with fantastic views of the lake and surrounding hills. The Mingo Loop Golf Course is within a mile of the place and a fine course. Some great restaurants nearby as well. I hope to return next year!

Incredible lake surroundings

This house offers the lake view which is ineffably vibrant. Besides the beautiful lake, this lodge is prefectly located in the Lakes and Mountains region with magnificent mountain ranges, glacial lakes, and waterfalls. We also appreciate the comfortable living, rustic design and many unique qualities that this house has to offer.

THE BEST!!

This place was so lovely! It was perfect for our large group which included 6 kids. Lots of different hang out spaces, many games, large dining table and a big dock for the kids to jump off. It was well appointed with everything we needed for our week. We didn't have great weather but we didn't care. We still swam every day. It was beautiful and we can't wait to go back!

Nostalgic visit

We chose this home because our Grandparents owned this along with several cabins along Rangeley Lake in the 60’s. Although updates have been made, it was still reminiscent of the home we visited in the past. Owners were exceptionally responsive with questions. Loved it! Thank you!!

Perfect spot

We had two families of four in our party and this property was perfect. There was plenty of room in the main house and the additional space in the bunkhouse was fun for the kids to have their own space. On sunny days, we had a lot of fun with the kayaks, paddleboards, and we rented a water ski boat. On rainy days, we had the ping pong table, the foosball table, and plenty of room so we were not on top of each other. The town of Rangeley surpassed our expectations as well. There was a great grocery store, a good number of really good places to eat (Parkside & Main was a standout), and a really fun bowling alley/games/bar place (Moose Alley). All in all, we had a truly excellent vacation. We all agreed that we would rent here again.

PERFECT GET AWAY!

This is a great place, we love it here! The whole house is so well equipped that it makes it a true turn key experience. And we make use of it all: the lake, the boats, the huge dining table, the smart TVs, games, the firewood. It's especially nice having 2 refrigerators. For the size of our group, we use both. It's lovely being so close to the water, I sit in the leather chair every morning watching the sun rise and listening to the loons and, now that they're older, the kids can be in the water without us down there because we can see them at all times. The dogs love it too. My sister and I have coffee on the dock every morning while the dogs take a swim. Connor and Tamara are excellent hosts, very responsive whenever we've needed anything. We will definately be back!

The camp was very nice. Beautiful view of the lake from looking out of the huge windows. I had two problems. There was only four pieces of wood to burn for outside fires. The other problem was the remotes for the TV. It said there were two remotes for the bedroom but only one. Two for the den but only one. Four for upstairs but only three. Could only watch a few stations on ROCU. Could not connect to a satellite

Loved our stay

This a great property. Owner very responsive to texts. We had a plugged bathroom sink, and he had someone there within a few hours to fix it. Beautiful property right on the water.

Unforgettable memories!

My family & friends traveled to a different destination every year for the past 15+ yrs because we don’t want to have a “repeat vacation”. After staying at Lakeside lodge everyone said they would definitely repeat vaca here. This was the most relaxing vacation we ever had & we loved every minute of it! Words cannot express how overwhelmed we were by the beauty and peacefulness of this getaway. It was easy to put down the laptops, tablets, & cellphones in favor of the clean air & views. All the amenities kept all of us busy w/ some unforgettable memories, time well spent! Thank you Conor for letting us experience this & for being attentive w/ our stay. It was a sad time leaving, even the dogs miss it lol.

Perfect Spot

My family and I had a fantastic time. This was our second stay here.you can not beat the views in this house. It feels like you are on the lake from the moment you step in the kitchen. Hiked Bald mountain and had an incredible time with family and friends. One morning a bald eagle landed on the dock and ate a fish in front of me. Amazing!!! Perfect spot to enjoy Rangeley and the surrounding area.

The perfect lakeside retreat.

This is the first time I have rented through VRBO and was pleased with the entire experience. The owner of this property was quick to reply with any questions that I had before booking and check in. The rental was more than I had hoped for. I love how this cabin still had the charm of an old Maine camp but all of the updates needed for a comfortable stay. We celebrated our Thanksgiving meal on the large table overlooking Rangeley Lake through a wall of large windows. It could not have been more perfect. I would recommend this rental and owner highly and I am holding to rebook for next year.

A Sweet Spot!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this great, lakeside home. Even though the house was built a long time ago (that's why it sits so close to the lake), all the appliances large and small, and the televisions are new. The TV's receive all the channels, which was nice because we had one rainy day. The view from the front rooms is spectacular! The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. This was definitely not roughing it. Although we were there in October and the water was way too cold for swimming, there was no shortage of things to do in the area. We ran out of days before we ran out of things to do. We will be back in the summer next year for two weeks!

Beautiful Views on Rangeley Lake

We had wonderful weather and were able to use the canoe and kayaks so much. Watching the sunset over the lake was one of our favorite things to do. Great being able to have a campfire by the lake. What a wonderful lakefront property. Very enjoyable vacation.
