Great location, beautiful lagoon, easy walk to beach, close to great restaurants.Condo itself has some maintenance issues, mildew on shower curtain, other shower door doesn't close, popcorn ceiling coming down, 2 wall sockets shorting, one on master bedroom and one on master bath. Needs some attention

Unit was as expected for the price point. Pretty dated and needs work but clean which is what is important to me. Great location and beautiful view. Host was very responsive. If you are not physically able to haul your luggage up two flights of steps (32 steps to be exact lol) do not stay in this complex as there are no elevators. I did have some concern about the pool maintenance but it may just be related to the time of year as I’ve never visited in September before. Some crabs from the lagoon had crawled into both pools and died. Not a big deal except they stayed in the pool for two days before they were removed, along with one dead one on the pool deck. I have stayed in this complex many times over the years and the pools have always been clean so hopefully this is just related to the time of year. Since I wasn’t planning to use the pools anyway (because come on I’m at the beach lol) it didn’t bother me. Complex is otherwise clean, super quiet and feels very safe. Love the docks on the lagoon. We had a fantastic visit for a great price!

Lovely condo and right across from the beach and lagoon! Host was only a message or call away and all went very well. He even let us bring our new animals that was a last minute deal, we would definitley reccomend them again

This was our third summer staying here, and we will be back! We love it. It has a well-stocked kitchen, washer, and dryer, and it's less than a 5-minute walk to the beach across the street. There is a nice, large, clean pool with plenty of lounge chairs and the perfect-sized kiddie pool just for the little ones. There is ample parking, and can I say the AC froze us all? That's a huge plus for me!Convenient to local shops and restaurants. Would love to own a condo in this complex in the next few years. Watch out, retirement here we come in 2030!

We loved our stay at this condo so much we’d like to start booking an annual visit. The location is perfect, quiet, and convenient. A great spot if you’re looking for family friendly activities like the Hangout, Fort Morgan, Main Street Foley, the Factory Outlet Mall, OWA, and a whole host of activities along Gulf Shores Pkwy and E Beach Blvd. Bedrooms are comfortable and roomy. If you’re looking for a place with spectacular sunset views, steps away from the gulf beach, this is definitely the place. Thank you so much for sharing this space with us!

Killer stairs

Great views and location. A couple of rattan chairs need to go in the trash. Kitchen is well stocked with every gadget you will need and more! We packed towels and found there were a dozen or so there. The FOUR flights of stairs are not for seniors, luggage or groceries.

This was our second time staying in this condo. The condo is clean, comfortable and has a great view of the lagoon. It rained a lot during our stay. So we were very glad for the covered parking. One thing to be aware of is that it is up 3 flights of stairs and no elevator. But, there is a locked storage room on the ground floor that can be used to keep fishing/ beach gear. We absolutely would recommend this condo.

Great place to stay

Older but spacious, clean, kitchen fully stocked, big tv's in each bedroom and living room, pier and place to fish on bay right outside back of building along with a grill, beach access right across street, not too far from town but a little less crowded beach wise, love that the balcony connects to living room and both bedrooms, huge pool-all in all great rental

Very nice condo in a fantastic location!

We had a great stay and would love to come back some time! Everything was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep. The lagoon view was amazing and we loved the beach access, the pool, and the fishing dock--so much to do without getting in the car, and even more in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. Thanks for sharing your lovely condo with us!

Great Place To Unwind

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Sea Oats! The property is clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The condo itself was spacious and had a very relaxed feel. We loved having easy access to both the ocean and the lagoon. Kent is a fantastic host! We ran into a couple of small issues during our stay, and he took care of them quickly and completely. Don't hesitate to stay at this property the next time you come to Gulf Shores!

You get what you pay for

The saying is true, "you get what you pay for." For a quick 3-day weekend, wanting easy beach access for less, this is the spot. The unit was clean, pool was refreshing, and beach access was simple. The nightly price literally can't be beat. Yes, you have to walk across the street, but the access is directly across from the condos and isn't a super long walk, plus there are several showers to clean off the sand when leaving the beach. For two small families, this unit fit us perfectly and we benefited from having two separate bathrooms. But I'm not sure the positives outweigh the negatives here... the kitchen could use a few decent pans (if you're the type who prefer to cook your own meals, might want to bring a pan or two), the hole in the floor under the couch could be fixed, the dryer takes about 3x the normal time to dry anything, and most importantly: put some batteries in the smoke detectors! There is obvious electrical or smoke damage around several lights/fans in the ceilings, and the fact that the smoke detectors were not operational had me seriously questioning my family's safety every night I went to sleep. This place was literally the least expensive unit I've seen with good beach access in many, many years of visiting the Gulf Coast. It's an owner DIY remodel and it's dated. It has some great potential, but I fear one day someone staying there won't be so lucky to leave with only good memories unless some things change to decrease the potential hazards.
