Rustic Log cabin sleeps 6, with extra room for up to 4 -RV's , 45 ft. max length, 12. ft. 6 inch max height to get under front gate .Dry camping, NO RV hook ups. Total of 12 people max. Campers can utilize bath facilities while there. The cozy cabin sleeps 6 with a queen bed and 2 bunk beds, for a peaceful night's sleep, Gaze at a billion stars in the night sky. With amenities like Kitchenette and dining area, large outside deck over looking the Spanish Peaks and Sangre de Cristo range. outside BBQ grill, and Propane firepit you have facilities to handle a group. The detached 8x10 bathhouse is just a few steps away and is equipped with a shower, sink and Toilet. See pictures to get a quick view. Relax in the tranquility of this property and 75 acres to let the worries of everyday life melt away. Hiking, bird watching or just sitting on the deck with a good book viewing the Mountains listening to the wind blow thru the Ponderosa's. Cabin rental required, then add on other guests for a small fee in their own RV or tents. Camping guests able to use Bath house facilities. Bedding and towels provided for cabin guests only . Just bring your food and drinks. We are just off the “Rad” mountain bike trail to the Spanish Peaks.
We are 5 minutes from the Spanish Peaks Bar and grill in Gulnare.
You have many things to do on this property. Rock climbing, hiking, snow shoeing in winter, bike riding, nice areas to play ball and run your dogs. Corn hole set , horse shoes, board games. Archery and shooting range with your own weapons, (use of range may be limited at certain times of year. )
Short scenic drive to mountain lakes for fishing. National and State forest hiking trails at Fishers Peak and Cordova Pass on the Spanish Peaks.
We especially think hunters for unit 85 will think this is a great base camp for 1-6 hunters. No big game hunting on our land but we are close to public land hunting in unit #85. Turkey hunting may be possible on our property with proper licenses for a separate fee. We are very dog friendly, they must be well behaved and not chase cattle or wildlife. Only 2 dogs per visit please. No cats allowed due to allergies. No smoking or burning anywhere during fire season.
This property has areas that are rocky, uneven forested terrain which may be hard to navigate if very young or immobile. Taking Steps into and up to are required to enter the cabin, bath house and deck. Hiking is at your own risk. Bears, Lions, Elk, Deer, Snakes etc. are in the area.
YOU must take precautions to remain safe from all wildlife contact.
Early spring , late fall and winter 4x4 or AWD vehicles are recommended due to possible inclement weather road conditions such as rain and snow which may limit road access during these seasons. Some camping /RV spots not accessible during winter due to snowfall . Make great lasting memories while in this mountain setting.
