This very well maintained 4 BR / 4 1/2 bath house is perfect for couples or the entire family. Entry level has main bedroom/bathroom with a king bed, 1/2 bath, living room, kitchen and dining area. Middle level has 2 bedrooms one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed and each has their own private bathroom as well as a 2nd living room and laundry closet. Bottom level is perfect for the kids with a bedroom that has 2 sets of bunk beds and a bathroom. Also on the bottom level is a nicely equipped game room and a futon sleep sofa. Location of this unit can't be beat just a very short walk to the base of the ski slopes and the Beech Mountain Resort village. Easy parking and easy entry make this house the perfect place to stay while visiting Beech Mountain during all 4 seasons. Only a short drive to Lake Coffey and Buckeye Recreation area for hiking, biking, fishing and much more.

Great house. It had everything we needed for our 3 night ski trip for 7 people. The view from the back porch was so beautiful! Host was easy to communicate with, very helpful and quick to reply.

This property is advertised as a slopeside cabin and the map has the location directly next to ski slope BUT HOUSE IS ACTUALLY HALF MILE AWAY FROM SLOPES. Not walkable for kids. Also no hot water for first two days (was below freezing temps) and owner was very reluctant to help.

Nice house, very convenient

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great layout inside, lots of space. Inside was well kept and had what we needed. Easy walk to the mountain bike area. Enjoyed our stay.Outside of house needed upkeep - plants growing in rain gutters for example and gutters overflowed with every rain. But inside was in great condition and very comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family ski trip and the house was perfect for all of us. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It was definitely walkable to the slopes but the hill was challenging in ski boots. Just note that the bottom level with the bunk beds only has portable heaters so it’s a little chilly and musty down there.

Great House within Walking Distance of Beech Mountain Ski Resort

Several houses advertise that they are walking distance, but few actually are, depending on how far you want to walk in ski boots. This house was in a perfect location with maybe a quarter mile distance walk to the Beech Tree Village. Very doable in ski boots. The house is clean and well taken care of. The pictures on the listing do not do it justice. For a rental, the kitchen is well equipped and the furniture/beds were all very comfortable. Great ski vacation!

Great for the whole family

We stayed here MLK weekend. We chose this location because of how close it was to the ski resort. This was a big family trip. 5 adults and 6 kids under 14. The house was perfect for all of our needs. As for location to ski resort….we were able to go out the basement door, make a short hike down the hill (in ski boots) and be literally in the parking lot of the ski resorts. Now driving to the resort takes a bit longer because you have to go around BUT we parked a car at the resort in the mornings and walked back and forth throughout the day depending on the needs of the kids. It was a great place a big family trip. Beautiful view. The rental place was great to work with. Would love to come back next year.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is good. You can technically walk to the Beech MTN parking lots. There is no central air/heat so you have to play with space heaters and opening/closing windows to regulate the temperature (it was 8 deg when we were there). The house is better than it looks on the pictures and a pretty good size. TVs with Comcast cable in all rooms. Had issue with no hot water the first night, but it was fixed the next day (think just a circuit breaker was off). You have to pick up a physical key (no electronic keypad), which is interesting in this day of vacation rentals. Overall, good place/option.
