Hot tub everyday!A great place to connect with our adult daughters. Fun for 20 something’s and 50 something’s alike. Great location for good food and fantastic waterfalls.

We had a beautiful weekend stay while in town for a wedding and never wanted to leave the place so we could enjoy the views of Lake Superior, the calm hot tub and various games in the house.

Amazing place!

Our family had such a great time at this cabin! The kids loved walking the beach looking for neat rocks, and chilling in the huge hot tub. I loved how clean the property was. Lots of neat places to explore nearby… High recommend!

Amazing property! Our group loved the clean and comfortable house, huge hot tub and great views of the lake. The yard is perfect for games and the fire pit is great for late night fun. This was our second visit to this property and we’ve already booked again for next summer. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Property

This is the perfect getaway from the city. We have stayed in the area numerous times and really enjoyed this property. The view, the beach, the sound of the waves, it was a great little getaway!

Booked David’s place for a few days in December to get some rest from all the daily hustle and bustle. We did not want to leave! The Kitchigami Lodge was clean, cozy, and had all the things we needed and more. Throughly enjoyed the hot tub, arcade games, sun room, and view of Lake Superior. The artwork around the house was amazing! Only a 30 minute drive from Superior and Duluth. The hosts were always communicative throughout our stay. Can’t wait to book again in the future and warmer months!

Check-in was very simple and easy. Good directions to find location. Excellent WiFi. The view is unmatched. Access to the beach and water. Gorgeous firepit facility. Close enough to civilization but far enough away.

Great Getaway

We spent a long weekend here with four adults and two kids (both under 5). The private beach, close drive to Superior/Duluth, sunroom, and hot tub were all great! The host was very easy to communicate with and gave us privacy to enjoy the space. We recommend this property!

Amazing Lake Retreat

This is a beautiful home with lots of shoreline. Home is well appointed, great windows and sun room. Very comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay as a girls weekend and plan to come back. Thank you David and Eileen.

The place was amazing and perfect get away we needed. All the pictures were exactly how you see them and the property and amenities were amazing! Hosts were easy to communicate with and seamless check in and checkout. Gave exact instructions so nothing to worry about.

A great house on a beautiful property

This is a great house set in a fantastic, natural private property. The house itself is clean and up to date with comfortable beds and modern amenities. It manages to feel both spacious and cozy. The hot tub is amazing as is the fire-pit that overlooks Lake Superior. Loved the sunroom and private beach. It's a beautiful place.

Great Stay

Wow! Was the first thing I said as we pulled into the driveway. The house, the serene views, the hot tub, access to a private beach on Lake Superior made our family vacation such a great trip. David was super responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Lakefront Stay

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on Lake Superior. The view of the lake is breathtaking, with access to a private beach area. We loved the sunroom and hot tub and the home is updated and comfortable. Close to Superior and Duluth, so we were able to enjoy the quiet but also get to stores and restaurants if needed. The weather was a bit cold and rainy unfortunately while we were there so we didn’t get to take advantage of the beach area or fire pit, but the beach is a short walk down a few steps and the fire pit has a beautiful view of the lake. David was an excellent host, quick to answer questions before our stay and check in/check out was seamless. We would definitely stay again if up in the area again!

Nobember getaway

We enjoyed a weekend retreat at this beautiful house on Lake Superior. This is a charming property with a wonderful view and access to a private beach. The host left a generous load of firewood for us to enjoy the well kept outdoor fire circle. I loved the sunroom and gas fireplaces. The house was clean and tastefully decorated. There are many pieces of local artwork to enjoy in each room.

Wonderful time at Kitchigami Lodge

There was 8 adults in our party. We ventured north for my sister's 30th Birthday and spent all day Saturday riding side-by-sides. Plenty of room to park all the trucks/trailers, a handy hose for washing off the side-by-side when we were finished AND not to far from Kitchigami Lodge is where we hoped on the trail and headed for Lake Superior. So fun! The house is updated very simply with updated decor. Beds were super comfortable and the hot tub is amazing. We will be back!
