Welcome to a colorful and warm retreat perfect for travelers. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by shades of pink and blue, with beautiful displays and various art pieces adorning the walls. The space exudes a fun, funky, and energetic vibe. The bedroom features two twin beds and a trundle bed, accommodating up to three guests. Additionally, the bedroom includes a TV for your entertainment. While the space is older and not perfect, we've made it fun, beautiful, and full of life.

Unit Number One on Fern Lane is a vibrant and funky retreat designed for travelers looking for a unique and energetic stay. With colorful decor and artistic touches, this space is perfect for those who appreciate a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The bedroom comfortably sleeps three with two twin beds and a trundle, and includes a TV for added convenience. Despite being an older space, we've transformed it into a fun and beautiful environment that guests will love.

There is no AC, washer, or dryer.
There is no kitchen just kitchenette with heating plate and microwave,

North Street and the surrounding area offer a range of local shops, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. It's a great place to explore and experience the local culture.
The North End is relatively close to downtown Halifax, making it convenient for residents to access the city's main attractions, business districts, and entertainment venues.

Parking: parking spaces available on the driveway. There will be a fee of $10 per night. If the parking spaces are full , you can park on the street.

Getting Around:
The neighborhood is well-connected to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the wider Halifax area.

We have 5 units in this building. Each unit can be booked individually, or contact us to reserve multiple units for larger groups.

PARKING (CONTINUOUS):
In Halifax, parking availability is limited. To efficiently manage the small number of parking spots available and enhance our guests' experience, we've collaborated with the parking operator, 'Honk.' Guests can conveniently select their desired parking duration and make payments by scanning the QR code displayed on the parking sign or with the provided link. Please make sure to register your vehicle to prevent any potential tickets from parking enforcers.

- The guest can arrive any time and purchase the nightly rate for $10 valid until 11:00 am.
- The rate is called "continuous parking" which means that once they leave, the spot might be gone.
- The rate is intended to have guests pay a full night without moving the vehicle
- The rate expires at 11:00 am.

As an alternative: there is an option to buy hourly rates at $1 per hour.

Would have been nice to have more towels and ones that were not so rough.Step out of bathroom needs another step for older people, it is quite high and there is room to install it.Shelf over bathroom sink makes washing your face difficult without water going everywhere.Location of property quite neat as area being revitalised. Lots of restaurants!

Upon checking in, there had been a notable leak through the ceiling , with plaster hanging, water and debris on the floor. Obviously the leak had been ongoing, there was noticeable mold on the ceiling. I cleaned it up and phoned the manager. Leaked again the next day. Plumber came a couple of days later and no further leaks. Was hoping for some reimbursement, perhaps a days rent? Also. Needs a coffee maker.

We had an amazing experience! The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Check-in, check-out and parking were very straightforward. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Great area near lots of shops and restaurants, highly recommend staying here!

Great little place, super well situated in trendy North End, steps away from good food, coffee and shopping. Walkable from downtown, quiet and safe. Comfortable mattresses.
