Cabaña privada en sereno arroyo que tiene todas las necesidades. Ubicado en una calle tranquila, de 1 calle, gravilla, callejón sin salida. Este es el escenario perfecto para unas vacaciones relajantes. Pesca (captura y liberación), senderismo y observación de la naturaleza son solo algunas de las mejores cosas. Muy cerca de tiendas, restaurantes, lugares de entretenimiento. Quédese y relájese o use esto como base de operaciones para excursiones de un día, la elección es suya. El dormitorio principal tiene una puerta con mosquitero al porche para que pueda acostarse junto al agua o puede acostarse en la cama y ver a los ciervos beber del arroyo. La hora del vino en el porche es lo último en relajación.

few days way

Me and My husband had a wonderful time and loved our unplugged few days and enjoying the nearby towns. It was a very nice place and so relaxing. Would love to come back again and stay. It was wonderful and clean and just as listed.

Beavers in the creek

Let's start with the most beautiful views of the river and mountain i have ever stayed at. My dad wife and i had an amazing time at the house. We had fires ate food and just relaxed. We saw deer almost every morning, plus a beaver swam up the creek rite in front of us it was definitely our favorite part because we never seen one in person. Highly recommend great location and close to restaurants and grocery .

Great Fall Trip

Relaxing. The sound of the stream was great. Easy access to Franklin and Clayton. Enjoyed fishing the stream. Deer in the mornings in tge field across the stream.

Peaceful retreat

This was an amazing place stay. The location on a stream looking across to the meadow where we could deer playing in the mornings and evenings was enchanting. The sound of the water was relaxing and it was a great place to relax and unwind. We loved our stay.

Weekend get away for old friends to catch up

We had a great stay at the property. Comfortable beds and everything we needed. The creek alone made the stay worthwhile, will definitely come back again

TROUBLE IN TRANQUILITY

I was very disappointed with the response from the management company in regards to a proper and fair compensation for the cost of my lodging. Unfortunately, due to the inclement weather my family and I was unable to check in. Per the advise of VRBO, I reached out to the property manager and we were unable to reach a compromise. I would have appreciated some kind gesture of empathy. However, after several attempts from management “I was advised that they can’t control the weather”. I acknowledged the fact that I didn’t have travel insurance and indeed I learned a valuable lesson. I am not asking for a refund however I would like to have a credit of the amount spent to use towards a future stay at the cabin. I would even be okay if the cleaning fee was deducted although my family was unable to check in. A little flexible is all that I am requesting, it is such a beautiful place and I look forward to the opportunity to visit in the near future.

Great Fall Weekend Getaway

We have found another favorite place to stay in this area! The cabin was clean, had everything we needed, and the location beside the creek is fabulous. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Private Cottage on the Creek

Perfect place to unplug, relax and recharge! Wonderful mountain creek, lots of wildlife, and all the essentials you need to have a great time and experience the NC Mountains at its finest! Clean and well stocked cottage, with all the comforts of home! Close proximity to many fun outdoor activities, entertainment, and great restaurants! The host is the best, easy to communicate with and responds quickly!

Amazing Stay

We stayed over Memorial weekend for our babymoon and it could not have been more perfect. My husband enjoyed trout fishing in the creek, and I read along side him. Drinking tea on the porch listening to the creek was magical. The house was cozy and had everything we would need. The added bonus was it being so unplugged (no cell service or wifi) which allowed us to relax and just enjoy each others company.

Just Amazing

If you are looking for peace, quiet and seclusion you will find it all here. You are in close proximity to shops and restaurants. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. For me, the selling point was the creek right outside the back door! We will definitely be making a return trip!!!

Tranquility

We couldn't wait to come back to this wonderful home. It had been a few years since we last visited. No matter the season, it is always so relaxing to come and stay. No internet, no cell phone - just pure relaxation. Listening to the creek and watching the deer in the meadow were all the entertainment we needed. It was wonderful to just sit back and relax by the fire pit. Looking forward to our next visit!

WE, Rick and Penny Sellers, live on this same road. We love the outdoors and all nature has to offer. Rick is a builder and commercial property owner, Penny a hairdresser and outdoor enthusiast.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This location is a walk through the woods to our home. It was built in the 1970's and was a part time summer home for the previous owners. When they became too elderly to attend to it we were able to purchase it so that it would adjoin our property. The cottage sits just feet away from the creek and you can no longer build a structure this close to the water anymore.

The privacy makes this location perfect for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. A great way for a small family to reconnect to each other and nature. The quiet and serenity that it offers naturally is unsurpassed.
