Esta es una gran villa (265 m² / 2850 pies cuadrados + 135 m² / 1450 pies cuadrados de balcones) justo al lado del centro de Rethymnon, con vistas panorámicas al mar y al castillo espacios muy abiertos y luminosos, divididos en dos pisos.

Tiene una gran terraza de 55m² / 592ft², con vistas panorámicas del mar y el castillo y una segunda rodeada de un gran verdor.

Un pequeño museo cretense (esquina de Creta), con exposiciones que datan de más de 100 años cada una, pasa a través de mi bisabuela. Hay descripciones de cada una de las exhibiciones (que explican cuándo se fabricó la exhibición y cómo se usó en esos días).

Barrio
Este es un barrio tranquilo, ya que la casa está al lado de un gran campo.

En el camino (a 500 metros a pie) hay un pequeño supermercado para sus suministros básicos y un gran supermercado a 1 km. De distancia de su casa.
En la misma calle también hay una mini cafetería que ofrece buena calidad y una gran cantidad de café, 2 de los 5 mejores restaurantes de la ciudad y un bar de cócteles realmente hermoso. Todos ellos justo al lado del mar.

Un cajero automático bancario está disponible poco antes de llegar al centro de la ciudad y también a un gran supermercado.

Lo mejor que puede hacer es ir a la playa más cercana a pie (aproximadamente 5 minutos) o al casco antiguo (3-5 minutos en auto, a unos 20 minutos a pie).
Además, seguramente podrá disfrutar de los restaurantes, el bar de cócteles y la cafetería.

Hay mucho espacio para estacionar su auto o autos

Hay una estación de autobuses ubicada en la carretera más cercana (a 500 metros de distancia de la casa)
La autopista también está a 5 minutos de su casa, por lo que es fácil viajar por Creta en autobús o en su automóvil.

La estación del aeropuerto más cercana se encuentra en Chania (66klm), la ciudad al lado de Rethymnon, pero también hay una en Heraklion

Ideal para familias o grupos de amigos.
Es un lugar realmente romántico, también adecuado para una o más parejas.

Nous avons passé une belle semaine à 8 dans ce duplex. Les chambres sont spacieuses et climatisées, tout comme le salon et la cuisine. Côté terrasse celle-ci est orientée face à la mer et permet de bénéficier du soleil du levé au coucher. Le jacuzzi est agréable avec une vue directe sur la ville et la forteresse. Néanmoins il est à noter qu’il y a une barre d’immeuble qui cache la vue sur la plage contrairement à ce que l’on voit sur l’annonce. Quand à la plage elle n’est pas accessible facilement. De toute manière c’est une plage de galets et aussi vaut il mieux prendre la voiture et se rendre sur les différentes plages de l’île. Notre hôte Theo a été au top, tant dans ses conseils que pour répondre à nos sollicitations. Merci encore Théo.

The Villa was very clean and spacious (perfect with kids). Lots of windows and sunlight. Also, with a view of the Fortezza. Quiet surroundings with occasional sounds of farm animals and church music. The main big patio was the best part of the house. It overlooked the sea with the sunrise to the right and sunset to the left. A lovely jacuzzi was great to relax in on the patio while viewing the sea. The owner had cleaners come mid-trip which was very nice. The owner provided us with food and activity recommendations. He also gave us a quick tour/run down of the house which was appreciated as we were foreigners for the USA. There are some beach toys and umbrellas. There is a beach at the bottom of the hill which is quite rocky. There are a couple racks for drying clothes. The owner provided laundry detergent. He also had a few surprises cultural thank you gifts planned for us throughout our stay! Overall, very happy with our stay!

Awesome host, pictures didn’t exactly match the place

Teo was an amazing host. He sat down with us and walked us through where everything we wanted to do was located on the island. Gave us some pointers of local spots as well. He recommended a local restaurant Staras that was hard to find but well worth it when we got there. He even left us some olive oil and wine that his family makes to enjoy. The picture of the view isn’t exactly the view you have off the balcony. There are buildings that block the view and the walk to the beach is more like a 15-20 minute walk. The beach is also very rocky and definitely not one of our favorites in Crete. The location is ideal being very close to the Old Town part of Rethymno. The place is self is in a quiet area outside of Rethymno. Most of the rooms are down a steep staircase with no handrail. There is a washer and there are several places to hang dry your clothes. Overall the location is ideal being within an hour from Chania, a little over an hour from Heraklion and 10 minutes from Old Town Rethymno. Teo was an amazing host, the place had plenty of room for our 8 guests.

Very nice stay at a very nice villa

We rented the villa and had at very good dialog with the host, Theo. His nephew Kostas was very friendly and serviceminded. He picked us up at the bus station and took us to the villa. They were always avaiable for us on the phone. We were asked when we wanted the house cleaned and when we needed new towels. The villa was big, clean, air condition in every room and a big terrace with a beautiful view. We had a very nice stay. We would love to visit the villa again.

Best view in Remythno!

The property and Theo were both amazing. Everything was ready for us upon arrival, and extremely clean. Theo was easy to work with, and provided additional information in the house to make it easy to navigate around the city. The house is a bit hard to find/tell a taxi driver, but we survived. Definitely look forward to returning!

Wonderful stay in Crete!

If I could give 6 starts for our stay, I would. The property is clean, spacious and has great views. Teo was a wonderful host and was extradited helpful when our luggage was delayed. He also gave great recommendations on what to do in Crete. Overall a wonderful experience and we enjoyed Crete very much.

Très bien accueillis par Teo qui nous a conseillé sur Rethymnon et sa région La maison est très fonctionnelle et permet de loger à 4 couples sans se gêner, de faire la cuisine et dîner sur la terrasse face à la mer Il y 3 salles de bain, seule celle du haut manquait d’un rideau de douche La literie était parfaite, les chambres très propres Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour

Really relaxing and great people

Crete is really beautiful and this must have rubbed off on the inhabitants, as they are really lovely people. Always helpful and warm. Beaches and facilities are very well organised. Our host at the place we rented was really helpful and available. Thanks for all your help. We really appreciated everything you did for us! The house was really spacious and well equipped. We had fun playing pool and babyfoot. There are two terraces which means one of them is always in the shade. And what a view of the sunset! There is also a cool hammac, which we all enjoyed for relaxing. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and each room had air conditioning which worked fine. There are mosquito protections on all the windows, which was great (though there were not too many mosquitos). Just inside the front door there is a toilet and shower room which is really practical when you get back from the beach and want to rinse the sand off before really going into the house. You need a car to go to the good beaches and shop for food. This is not a place you can access easily by foot. But we could park right outside the house and the roads were easy. Rethymnon is a great town. The old quarter is really pretty with plenty of shops and restaurants. Then there is a whole part of the town which goes along the beach front, with bars, ice cream parlours etc. The beaches have sun loungers and bar service etc. It’s all well organised. Then the drive to Chania or to Heraklion and Knossos is really not too long, on easy roads. So it was a perfect central point. Overall, a great holiday.

Exceeded all of our expectations!

We are a family of five who travelled to Crete with our 3 young adult children. This property exceeded all of our expectations. Teo was a wonderful host and provided great recommendations and a lovely welcoming basket. Every detail was considered from the bedrooms to the game room to the delightful terrace that provided a wonderful view of Rethymno. We would definitely recommend this property and sincerely thank Teo for his amazing hospitality.

Incredible villa, best views!

The villa is very spacious, very clean, with open spaces and a huge terrace with panoramic views of the sea and the castle. Our lovely host Teo, greeted us with traditional Cretan products and gave us the best recommendations for the best beaches all over the island, restaurants, and local things that we can enjoy. Definitely recommended, we can not wait to come back!

Spectacular views and very helpful Owner

The location of this beautiful villa is very scenic and peaceful. We were a family of 4 adults, and thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at the villa. The sea view is absolutely breath-taking and the villa itself is very spacious and well-presented. The villa had all the amenities and facilities which we expected and needed, and we were impressed with the good wifi connection too. The Owner Teo is very friendly and helpful, and even came to pick us up when we got lost in the area on our first day, and kindly helped us with our shopping. Teo also helped to organise taxis for us, whenever needed. In addition to this, upon request, Teo also organised a wonderful Masseuse for myself. There is a small beach and some restaurants, about 15 minutes walk away from the villa itself. The bigger, more organised blue flag beach is near the Marina in the Town, which is a 15 minute drive away by car/taxi. You can also find more places to eat, explore and relax in the town area. If travelling by foot, walking uphill where the villa is located is a bit difficult in the heat. I would therefore advise renting a car if walking is an issue, and taxis in the area are also cheap. A taxi to or from the main town part of Rethymno, will cost approximately 5 Euros. Teo has included a helpful guidebook in the villa as well, with some recommendations for local sight-seeing and activities. We were also provided with a free cleaning service during our stay, which was very much appreciated. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, I would definitely recommend this villa. My Family and I had a great holiday, and look forward to re-visiting Crete.

Exceptional Stay! Beatiful Location, Amazing Home, Gracious Host!

We had an amazing stay at Teo's beautiful house. The pictures do not do the property justice. The views are incredible from every window- and trust me there are lots of beautiful windows and views everywhere!!! The house is huge and very well appointed and squeaky clean. Value for the money is amazing.There were 7 adults that stayed at the property and we each had privacy when needed as there are 2 levels and 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms each with its own balcony, in addition to the huge living spaces and very large balcony off the living room and one off the kitchen. The area is beautiful, the house is private and quiet but very close to shops, beach, and the town as well as very close to highways and transportation options. The house is modern and very well kept, has a washing machine, super cold air conditioning and plenty of hot water always, the cupboards included things like coffee and spices, washing detergents etc, Teo, our host was also amazing, very welcoming and accommodating. He was responsive and communication was always excellent before and during our stay. When we arrived, he greeted us at a central location in town so that we did not have any trouble finding the house. At the house he sat with us and made sure to give us valuable information about where to go, what to see and what to eat. He had a lovely basket of goodies waiting for us well. Teo even arranged to have dinner sent to us from a local restaurant one night when we did not want to leave the house. We originally had booked the property for 5 people but a few weeks before the booking we added 2 more. Teo was extremely gracious when we advised him of this and allowed this change without any problem. Having rented many such properties I can assure you that most hosts would not have been as gracious as Teo. I would give our stay a rating of A+++++. Thank you Teo from the bottom of my heart for sharing your lovely home with us. We will definitely be back.

Hello, this is a very good address! The sea view is exceptional. We were four adults, in April, for a too short time, just four days. To really enjoy the comfort of this villa, you must spend tens of days. Each morning we had breakfast on the terrace facing the sea. This house was very relaxing for us. With, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable space, bathroom facilities (3 bathrooms), many rooms, and sea view in all the windows. The owner, Thodoris, is a gentleman: he came to wait for us in the bus station, he accompanied us the first day to purchase. And he offered us a welcome gift: a bottle of wine and a bottle of olive oil. Thodoris, thank you! what reception! The shops are nearby. The beach is down the road, our first bath was in april! In fact the city of Rethymnon is geographically well situated in the center of the northern coast. Rethymnon is an interesting city, you can visit the old streets, the port, the archeological Museum, the old castle, the neighboring villages. Crete is: a quality welcome meals with news flavors (olive oil, wine, cheese, fruit, honey, ) many interesting sites to visit the sea the sun Now i understand people who come back every year in Crete.
