🌴 SeaScape Duplex – the perfect setup for two families or groups! This brand-new (2024) home has 2 private side-by-side units, each with its own kitchen, living area & bedrooms.

Enjoy the in-ground pool, lounge chairs & smart TVs in every room. You’ll feel secluded among wild palms yet be close to everything:
⚾ 10 min to Charlotte Sports Park,
🏖️ 15 min to beaches,
🛍️ near shops & dining.

Sleeps up to 16 guests total – ideal for relaxing or adventuring!


🛏️ Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps up to 16)
--Each unit sleeps 8 (16 total):
--King Bedroom with attached bath – sleeps 2
--King Bedroom – sleeps 2
--Queen Bedroom – sleeps 2
--Living Room – Queen pull-out couch sleeps 2
--🛌 White noise machines and blackout curtains are provided in all sleeping areas.

Each unit includes a fully stocked kitchen with:

✅ Each unit has a dishwasher. We ask that guests wash and return all dishes after use.

--One-lane driveways, approx. 52 ft long

⚠️Do not park on the lawn (septic in front yard). Street-shoulder parking has not been an issue (area is very new).


🏊 Pool & Lounging
--In-ground pool shared between the two units
--8 lounge chairs total (4 per side), 250-lb weight limit each
--Heated to 84°F; warmer temps available by request for a small daily fee (please arrange in advance)


💧 Water Note
Home runs on filtered well water. While safe and purified, the taste differs from city water. Each night, the water filtration system is set to regenerate between 12 AM and 4 AM. We discourage guests from showering/drinking water during these middle-of-the-night hours, as they will notice an unpleasant smell during this timeframe. Some guests are unbothered by well water, while others may prefer to bring bottled water for drinking.

⚠️ Safety, Accessibility Notes, & House Rules
--Homes are NOT baby-proofed (no outlet covers, no cabinet locks, furniture is not secured to walls, no cribs provided, etc). Guests are responsible for their safety.
--No pets, parties, or events – we value the relationship with our neighbors, and strive to keep the home in top condition.
--Max 16 guests (strictly enforced due to a very sensitive plumbing)
--This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Out of respect for neighbors (and because one nearby neighbor is especially sensitive to sound), we ask that outdoor voices and music be kept very low after 8 PM. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10 PM – 8 AM.
--If your group is looking for a space with a bit more flexibility for outdoor evenings, please consider checking availability at our Gulf Getaway Duplex, which may be a better fit for your stay.
--A noise monitoring device is installed in the pool patio area to monitor noise levels (no audio recording)
--The property includes a front door camera and a camera overlooking the pool area. No interior spaces are recorded.


⏰ Check-In / Check-Out
--Check-In: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
--Check-Out: 10:00 AM
--Note: We always try to provide early check-in and late check-out opportunities when possible. (It is simply dependent on whether or not it’s a same day check-in/out, the condition in which the previous guest left the home, and our cleaners’ schedules.) Please notify us if you would like early/late check-in/out, and we will do our best to make it work! 🕚
--Guests will receive key code & detailed check-in instructions via message on the morning of arrival.
--Port Charlotte operates on Eastern Standard Time (EST).


🛡️ Booking Requirements
We’re excited to welcome guests from all backgrounds and want to make sure every stay is enjoyable, safe, and comfortable for both you and our neighbors. To help us maintain a great experience, we ask that:
--The primary renter is 25+ with a verified government ID.
--A $500 damage deposit is required. This is returned after checkout once our team confirms the home is in good condition.

After booking, first-time guests are required to sign a standard rental agreement that reflects the house rules and booking details shown on this listing. Information provided is used solely to coordinate maintenance or schedule adjustments during your stay. This information is kept strictly within our team and is never shared externally.

Sea Scape Duplex

This was a great space for a large group of 15. The duplex was nice because we could all be together and still have lots of room. The pool was a hit.

My mother passed away. Several family members came in from out of state. This was such a wonderful place to stay! Truly 5 star! We had so much peace and could not have picked a better place! Immaculate! Don’t miss out on this gem!

A series of unfortunate events.......

Our group of 14 family and friends chose this property to stay for my daughter's wedding. House was nice and clean and well stocked with trash bags, soaps, etc. Septic system was very smelly and water smelled of STRONG sulfer. We had a sewer issue causing us to be unable to flush toilets until the septic company came to service the morning of the wedding. Owners attempted to move us to another home but the a/c was broken there so we opted to go back to the house without working toilets. Pool chairs were almost all broken and unusable. This review won't allow me to write enough words of how upset I was the night before the wedding. In the end, I feel things could have been handled much differently but hopefully it was a learning experience for the owners. Our money was refunded, which in no way makes up for the stress that was caused to us all at 11pm the night before a wedding, but I understand that's about all that could be done after the very unfortunate series of events that took place this day.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry for the stress you experienced during such a meaningful weekend for your family. Unfortunately, if a fuse is blown due to excessive electrical use, the power to the water filtration system may be tripped. This is what you experienced, and the reason why the water was smelly for a short time during your stay until the breaker was reset. Additionally, the septic system was working properly until the second day of your stay; this is why we ask that only toilet paper be flushed down the toilet. We covered the full cost of your trip, as well as the repair to the septic, despite the fact that directions were not followed by your group, causing the plumbing problem itself. **Please note: Lesson learned; we will not be doing this again in the future. Damages caused by guests will be covered by the guest or by VRBO host insurance. We responded immediately to your concerns, offered alternative accommodations, coordinated emergency septic service early the next morning, and ultimately refunded the full cost of your stay damages as a gesture of goodwill. While we are more than happy to try and make things right and always try to ensure our guests are comfortable, this was absolutely the most difficult hosting experience we’ve had in our 8 years of doing this full time. We are small family—not a large investment corporation—and while we sympathize with the high stress of the situation, we have never been screamed at in such a way that makes us question whether or not a guest is going to burn down our home due to their uncontrollable anger. We remained calm and kind, but we have never been so shaken by a guest's rage. For future guests reading this: We take property maintenance seriously, and this situation was both rare and avoidable. The septic backup was due to improper materials being flushed. The water filtration system works properly, so long as power is supplied to it—and if a breaker is tripped, it can easily be fixed. We encourage all guests to follow posted guidelines, especially in homes with septic systems, to help prevent these kinds of issues. We also encourage guests to be kind and work with us to find a solution that suits everyone. We are reasonable, kind people who want to provide a great experience for our guests and to do the right thing--and we'd like to host guests with the same respect and standards. Despite the challenges, we genuinely wish your family all the best.
