Fleas and dirty

We arrived in town about 2:30. We texted the owner Doug about getting in before five. He responded an hour and a half later, said his phone was off he was on the golf course., but go ahead…. We went to the unit close to 5:00 pm and unpacked. The refrig. And microwave were not clean, in fact the entire unit and the outside patio are in need of a serious cleaning. The carpets smell like pet pee and is not a pleasant smell. The owner said there was poison ivy outside, of course our puppies got into some apparently and gave it to my wife…. The puppies also came home with fleas which they have never had before. We had to stop and get flea shampoo and bathe them before they could come into our home in Conn. It was a very trying experience and we will not be staying at this unit again. Doug is a really personable guy but even when we expressed the desire to sit outside he did not clean the patio or patio table. The place looks great in pictures but in reality if you can not enjoy the space because it is too dirty, pictures should not be posted. The location was walkable to town and the space has potential but really needs some very serious cleaning.

Lovely stay in North Conway

Great location, very comfy setup. We really enjoyed spending time in front of the fireplace. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Hosts were super friendly/helpful.

The stay was awesome. We had our own completely efficient space that was adorable and comfortable.

Wonderful! We left wishing we had booked a longer stay. The host was amazing, always available and also very good about respecting our privacy. Hoping we can come back soon😀

Cozy place in the heart of North Conway

The host greeted us at check-in and gave is a quick tour of the place. The place was clean and organized. The location is perfect, with being walking distance to the mountain and downtown. Will definitely consider staying again when we are in the area.

Relaxing, beautiful stay

We had a lovely stay at this home. It’s just as described and on a beautiful property. We particularly loved the wood-burning fireplace on a cold, rainy day! Communication was great, and the house was very cozy. The kitchen wasn’t huge, but it’s functional. Apparently there are some black bears nearby, but we didn’t have any issues (just make some noise when you go outside). Very dog-friendly space. We’d definitely come back! Thanks for a great stay!

Have stayed before and could not wait to get back. So cute, so nice, so relaxing. The fireplace is such a bonus on a cold day! all the amenities are just perfect. thanks again for a fantastic stay!

Good location , excellent host , comfortable bed and nice size bedrooms and the wood fireplace makes it a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day. Recommendations: earlier check in ( 3pm ) is standard whereas 5 pm is unusual , a stove top unit ; curtains at the windows without them on the first level and the window near the counter needs to be replaced. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it has the potential to be outstanding.

Very nice place to stay.

Great proprietor, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Clean and comfortable, excellent location. Ideal place to stay if you have to do things around Conway, walking distance to the center of town. Nice linens, comfortable beds.

High marks for this rental!

We had a very pleasant stay in a clean, well-kept house that is conveniently located a few blocks from the main drag of North Conway. The owners were accommodating, helpful, and eager to please. I would stay here again anytime. Two suggestions: a screened-in porch area and new mattresses on the beds. Thanks for making our vacation great!!

Excellent choice!

Could not have had a better experience here! The owners are so welcoming and friendly, and we felt comfortable from the moment we got there. The house is adorable, convenient to everything the area has to offer, clean and complete with all the things you need on vacation. Our dog was welcome, and we enjoyed having him with us. We will definitely be back every chance we get! Thank you for helping our kids feel at home and making the weekend a memorable one for our family!
