Beautiful home and peaceful neighborhood we stay to open up a restaurant and was perfect to come and be in mental peace surroundings!

Upon arrival, the house was dirty with dead bugs on the floor, had not been vacuumed, spider webs, and mold in both the main bathtub and the washing machine. Communication with the host was hostile and rude. The representative from VRBO argreed that the condition of the home was not up to standard but the host refused to provide a refund. Rather, she came to the house the following day to "clean". After she was done, there were still dead bugs on the floor, dirt, and mold. She still refused a refund but instead offered back half of the cleaning fee. The entire process was frustrating and consumed several hours.

Shannon, the frustration was mutual. I strive to provide to my guests with the outmost service and I am always available to work on any needs guests have. Sadly, your reported the following as not cleaned which are items bothing could be done about it. vacume cleaner brush, the known everybody's issue of a moldy door rubber of the front load washer machines that cannot be clean. A one corner death bug from bugs spraying that I never found. And the normal carpet trafic area discolored. I truly work with my guests as long as their requests are workable. Your requests were outrageous and even I should have charge for the extra cleaning, I gave you half cleaning refund.

Family Stay in Huntsville

Very nice home in Medison (Huntsville, AL) area. Quiet area and easy access to Huntsville attractions. Family friendly house with lot of room. Communication with the host was easy, prompt and friendly.

Great Property

We were in town for our grandson's high school graduation. This was an ideal location. We loved the quiet neighborhood. We weren't in the house a lot to fully enjoy the property but it was very nice and had all that we needed. We were slightly challenged with the television but finally figured it out without contacting the owner.

Great find that’s close to grocery stores, walking trails, & some wonderful Alabama BBQ! The house is very spacious. Even for our large family, we had plenty of space to relax and visit with family. Loved the sofas in the living room. Very comfy for lounging. The house was clean and conveniently located near Huntsville. We stayed here Fourth of July 2025. Would rent again without hesitation. Neighborhood felt safe saw people leisure walking. There is also a keurig there. I don’t recall seeing that in the listing.

As a host, I strive to provide to my guest with a great experience reflected in all the other reviews. As such, you received from me pre, post, and during stay communication and a great property cleanliness, location, and size for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the conditions you left the house prompted me to open a damage report which I communicated before taking action. In any way I have treated you with disrespect and unprofessionalism. Please read Vrbo policies on damages and look at the pictures/video in report for a better understanding of the situation. It is sad the review is misguided due to your experience with the process, not reflecting your experience during your stay.
