Paz y tranquilidad en una encantadora propiedad privada en Penobscot

Debo enfatizar el aspecto de paz y tranquilidad de esta propiedad ya que el ruido se transporta fácilmente sobre el agua y pido que se respete a los vecinos. Esta casa rústica se encuentra en un lote privado a solo 1/2 milla de Rt One al final de un camino de tierra. La decoración es ecléctica pero cómoda, nada lujoso. Un corto tramo de escalones proporciona acceso a la costa rocosa. Tres habitaciones privadas (una en el piso principal) y una cuarta habitación en la planta superior que conecta las dos habitaciones. Hay 2 baños (uno con bañera) más 1/2 baño. La cocina está bien equipada y un porche cubierto ofrece maravillosas vistas siempre cambiantes de Penobscot Bay.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! We have been to Maine several times but were always in hotels and moving every night. It was refreshing to have a HOME base and after a week I can attest to this place felt like home. The property is indeed quiet and secluded but not too far from groceries and supplies. I loved how well the kitchen was stocked with pretty much any appliance that might be needed with plenty of room for more than one cook!We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio and evening wine on the dock. Communications were always timely and check-in and out was painless! It was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend this home to any family and hope we can return soon!

Beautiful private location on a picturesque point of upper Penobscot Bay with 200 views of the water. Lovely, well appointed cottage. We've enjoyed our stay here very much for the past 3 years.

Relaxation ++

Had spectacular weather on our second two week stay in as many years. I love sitting outside on the porch or in the Adirondack chairs enjoying the sounds of the eagle calling, the breeze through the leaves and the occasional drone of a ships motor out in the bay. There is absolutely zero background road noise. Toured the Searsport Maritime museum and Fort Knox, both very interesting. Also hiked the circumference of Sears Island. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Plan to return again next year!

Maine Paradise

This is our 6th stay at this wonderful cottage! It is perfectly maintained for our 3 generation family and the view of the ocean is just beautiful! The fishing and water activities are enjoyed by many. And we always enjoy the surrounding communities, restaurants, and lighthouses! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

This is a home!

From our first visit in 2017, we knew the house was someone's home. It has become our July (for a few weeks) home. Everything we could want is there. Everything we need is there--quiet, beauty, space to be alone, space to gather everyone. There is even room for fairies in the garden.

Beautiful Location!

We had a great time at this property in Stockton Springs. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back porch and enjoying the beautiful weather. There is plenty to do and many wonderful restaurants in the vicinity. Communication was great and Kate is a lovely host.

First trip to Maine

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very comfortable , well stocked with essentials and well maintained. Gary was gracious to greet us and available if needed. Be sure to check out the red notebook for local information. Our first trip to main, so it was helpful finding things to see and do. Highly recommend Anglar's restaurant.

Picturesque and Serene

The property is well off the road at the tip of a lovely cove. It is very quiet, with a large yard and beautiful views of the bay. The cottage is very well appointed and the screened in porch is the perfect place to read or chat on a bright sunny day. We loved our stay there.

We've come to this house for years and it never ceases to be anything but a pleasure. Kate is a great host and is always updating the property. This year there was a new dishwasher and grill.

Friends week away

We had a fantastic week at your beautiful home. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us! The location was perfect for visiting with family in Belfast and exploring midcoast Maine. Sunrise on the bay was spectacular! Would definitely book this house again.

Maine Beauty

We absolutely found the best of Maine in this home located on Penobscot Bay. We had everything we needed from the well equipped kitchen to the outdoor furniture for sitting and enjoying the views. This home is centrally located along the coast allowing us to do day trips down to Boothbay Harbor or up to Acadia National Park. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the best Maine has to offer!

Awesome home!

When renting online sight unseen sometimes you are surprised and not in a good way but this home was much nicer than shown in the photos! All the reviews for this property are accurate, the owners have taken every consideration of your stay into count. Things you didn’t even know you needed/wanted was supplied and the attention to detail was amazing! Loved the place and loved the location! Weather could have cooperated better as it rained almost every day but thank goodness the house was so nice it wasn’t an issue.

Serene space

This property was situated just right for trip to Acadia as well as shopping in Belfast. We are 5 family members in our 70’s and the space in the house was really wonderful. Late afternoons on the porch were a great time to visit together around the table. We all highly recommend Osprey Reach.

What a comfortable house

We've been coming for years and one of the reasons is how comfortable the house is. Lots of room to move around in, comfortable chairs for sitting and that wonderful porch to watch the water. We'll be back again.

Maine Paradise

This is our 4th family stay and it was once again perfect. The weather was sunny and the water provided successful fishing and the grandkids played daily in the ocean! The screened porch allowed that majestic view and a great place for the family to gather! Simply a perfect vacation!!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time with our family. Played on the water; watched the sunrises, sunsets and wildlife; sat by the fire; visited nearby attractions and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was wonderful!

Wonderful, quiet, clean retreat!

This place has been stocked with a thoughtful collection of needed items...kitchen items, cleaning items, bedding, reading resources, wi-fi, satellite tv, beach and outdoor equipment. Location is exquisite! Two full baths limiting, considering the number of beds. Lighting in bathrooms needs to be brighter . Very clean!
