Swallow Falls Cabin 2 – Rustic 1 Bedroom Cabin with Fireplace in Deep Creek Lake (Near Swallow Falls)

Enjoy the simplicity and charm of Swallow Falls Cabin #2, a quaint and rustic getaway perfect for solo adventurers or couples. Just minutes from the natural beauty of Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park, this charming cabin offers the perfect escape into nature while providing the comforts of home. This quaint cabin features one bedroom and one full bath, making it ideal for an intimate and peaceful stay.

The surrounding natural beauty invites you to explore and reconnect with nature. Located near Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park, you'll have easy access to scenic hiking trails and breathtaking waterfalls. Whether you're into fishing, hiking, or simply soaking in the beauty of the great outdoors, you'll find plenty of opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

​​​​​​​This home is not pet-friendly (undisclosed pet fee will be charged at 3x advertised pet fee). Max. parking spaces: 2

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old. Check-In is between 4 pm – 9 pm. Check-Out is by 10 am. Smoking/Vaping, Parties, Exceeding Max Occupancy or Pet Limit are not allowed.

WHAT TO BRING: Supplies are not provided; plan to bring all paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, household items, supplies and extra towels, if necessary. (Bed Sheets, Bath Towels, and Dishes are provided for max occupancy.)

WINTER RESERVATIONS: A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS: (1) At time of booking- Electronically Sign the Rental Agreement to trigger your door codes and Pre-Arrival Information to be automatically sent. Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement. (2) One day prior to arrival- You will receive Pre-Arrival Information that contains your door lock code, address and other important info. [If you do not receive it by noon that day, check your spam folder. If you still don't see it please call us directly to ensure a smooth check-in].

If you are looking for a quite away from everything area, this is the spot. We really enjoyed the quieteness but 15 minutes drive to everything.

Perfect relaxing getaway

The cabin was clean, well-kept and stocked with linens and kitchen items. There was also a nice grill to use outside. We loved sitting out by the firepit and listening to the Youghiogheny river through the trees. Everything was very comfortable and peaceful - thank you!

Great place to stay

Everything was awesome, loved the area and the cabin was very clean and welcoming. Has a very homey feel to it. We really enjoyed our stay. Overall a beautiful place and would recommend people to stay here. One thing to look into is the pedestal sink needs attached to the wall. (Looks as if someone tried gluing it). Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to escape a pandemic

Very clean, quiet and cozy cabin perfect for a midweek getaway. Well appointed kitchen, A/C, shower and comfy bed, along with a nice porch made for a perfect stay. Convenient to hike and bike trails. Easy walk to the river. Print the address and access code before you arrive as cell service (Verizon) can be slow/limited.

great getaway with this extra clean cabin. the owner and housekeeper were the best. the only thing was that there is absoulutley no service for tmobile, verizon and at&t, you have to go into town to get service.

Cute Cabin

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Had some issues with the TV but not that important. Also, if you have back issues, the bed is very soft. Most importantly, it was clean and the process of checking in and out was super easy.

Quiet Getaway

Our second time staying at Cabin #2. The first time, I got engaged there. This time was a nice little escape from the world. It’s always a great time. It’s quiet and peaceful. You can even hear the river while sitting by the fire pit. Will be returning soon!

Great location next to forest and trees

Cute and cozy cabin with all of the essentials. Water and appliances all worked great, including the cozy electric fire place. This cabin is the last private property before Swallow Falls State Park. One quirky thing is you walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. It is great for singles and couples, but more could be awkward.
