Wake up to serene ocean views in your exclusive villa at Hawks Cay Resort. Enjoy a quick stroll to private deck's , direct dock access for your boat, and nearby restaurants for fresh, local dining. Experience the perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and coastal charm. Our villa has a mini pool in backyard.
Our villa is not affiliated with the Hawks Cay Resort; our guests do not have access to the hotel-owned amenities including the Coral Cay children's center and hotel pools. However, any resort amenity that is open to the public will be available. Amenities available to the public include several restaurants and bars, full service marina, Calm Waters Spa by appointment and Fitness Center available to spa patrons, Dolphin Connection by appointment, tennis, parasailing, fishing charters, boat rentals and a variety of water sport equipment rentals such as kayaks, paddle boards and more.

Nice townhome-no private beach

Townhome was fine re: accommodations for 2 couples. Quiet neighborhood and nice location for walking and biking. Description re: stunning views and private beach is very misleading. There is no beach and view of canal out back is OK but not "stunning".

the residence was very nice and easy to find and very convienent and I would definitely reccomend, however even though there is a dock and I planned to use for the boat it is not accessible from the unit and needs repair. secondly there is a large deposit which was not returned in a timely manner.

Not accurate description

Says Ocean view which it is not. The property is on a canal with a lawn boardwalk, which is why we rented it so the kids could walk up and down a fish. However, the boardwalk was closed and inaccessible, and not mentioned prior to our arrival.

Not the best experience

Did not receive check-in instructions untilday of arrival after leaving several messages with owner. Upon arrival, which was 90 minutes after check-in time, the property had not even been cleaned. Called owner who did send someone to clean within 30 minutes. House itself needs a little TLC. Location was really nice and our stay ended up being ok after our rocky start.

TERRIBLE

Strongly recommend you consider another location. Initial advertisement made it seems as if guests would have access to amenities which was not the case. Several attempts to reach out to the host (more than 5 times) were completely ignored. HOWEVER when it came to host asking for payment, response time was almost instant. Booked this trip with family of 3 toddlers and was a complete waste of every penny. This host was insanely unprofessional and hope anyone who considers booking reads this review to avoid wasting money like I did.

Duck Key Townhouse

Property location was good! Overall housekeeping and maintenance was sub-standard compared to other properties we have rented through VRBO. The upstairs was musty and there was mold on the inside and outside of the windows on the north side. Windows were actually starting to rot when we took a closer look. The hot tub was broken,unusable and had debris in it.Amenities that were included in the initial description on VRBO had changed. We were notified the day before our arrival after I had contacted the host because we had not gotten our check in information.

Disappointing due to misleading ad and communications

The ad first implied that this condo had access to resort amenities. Sent message to owner to confirm, and they mentioned some access, and I followed up saying we were looking forward to the resort pool/lagoon and they did not say this was not available (they just asked for payment). Went back to ad one day before leaving and it had completely changed to say the condo did not have access. It was too late to change. We thought at least we'd have access to water on the docks as the picture shows, but the walkway to dock is boarded up and resort said those docks have been blocked for repair for a year. Slow to provide condo access info, when we got there door was wide open. Condo was ok overall. Toiletries very sparse. If had figured it out sooner I would have stayed somewhere else. You had to drive anywhere to get to water/beach.

Hawks Cay Villa #7008

We would never have booked this property if the host had provided us accurate information about the use of the resort amenities at the time of booking! When we booked, I asked the question "With this rental, will we have access to the pool, beach and tennis courts at the resort?" The host responded," You’re welcome to use the tennis courts, resort pool, and beach during your stay." The resort staff including the Director of Front Office and Villa Operations told us guests of Villa #7008 did not and had never had access to the resort amenities, including pools, beach and tennis courts. When we brought this to the host's attention, he offered us a refund for any nights not used if we checked our early. We informed the host that we were checking out a day early due to the lack of access to resort amenities, and over six weeks later we have not received a refund from the host.Other things you should know:The villa is on a canal with a view of houses across the canal.The boardwalk behind the villa is in disrepair and not accessible.There is no beach access.There is no communal pool.There is no access to the tennis courtsOur stay was ruined by the inaccurate information provided in this listing and by the host via VRBO messages.DO NOT BE FOOLED!!!!!CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!
