Welcome to Sunset Cabin, one of our favorite places to relax!

This incredible home sits on the crest of a hill overlooking lush countryside in all directions.
Located just 30 mins North of downtown Nashville & convenient to parks, golf courses, Old Hickory lake & more.

The rustic interior & classic wrap-around porch exterior make you want to cuddle up with a cup of hot chocolate or sip a glass of wine while gazing out at the sunset or countless wildlife visitors.

Sleeps up to 12 people.

The home is very open and welcoming. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining and living areas so family can gather and interact together in an intimate setting.

We have 2 dining tables which comfortably seat 12.

The kitchen is completely stocked with all utensils, cutlery and appliances to accommodate you settling in for family meals. We also have a gas grill on the porch for you to whip up some steaks in the evening!

The living room has plenty of seating and the main couch doubles as a sleeper sofa at night if you need the additional sleeping space. It has a queen mattress within.

We always like to explain the sleeping arrangements in our descriptions to best help you plan your visit, so this is the bed set up for the home:

Bedroom #1 - King bed with en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet and wall-mounted TV. Additional twin air mattress available. (Sleeps 3)

Bedroom #2 - Queen bed with wall-mounted TV. Both a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and a half bathroom are located in the corridor just outside of this room. (Sleeps 2)

Bedroom #3 - 2 sets of Twin Bunk Beds. These bunks therefore have 4 twin mattresses total. There is a flat screen TV on the wall and both a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and a half bathroom are located in the corridor just outside of this room. Additional twin air mattress also available. (Sleeps 5)

Living Room - Queen Sleeper Sofa (Sleeps 2). The fireplace is decorative only, so please do not try to fire it up.

We supply linens, towels and bathroom soaps for all of our guests and you will find cleaning supplies incase of any spills for your stay too. With a large laundry, feel free to wash your clothes or freshen up your towels while you visit.

The outdoor fire pit area and wrap-around porch are definitely our favorite spots and we are blessed to be able to watch the Sunset disappear over the surrounding hills in the evenings. The outdoor cafe rope lights create an amazing ambience at night and we are truly excited to share this home with you.

Please note that with this being a property located at the top of a hill, there is a chance in the winter time that the concrete driveway could become icy and NOT accessible to drive on. This happens very rarely in Nashville, but in the most recent years there has tended to be around 3-7 days in the winter that such conditions have occurred. It is a long gated driveway and it is not salted. Please plan accordingly if you book to stay with us during this season by taking extra precautions and purchasing travel insurance. Middle Tennessee does not handle cold and Ice particularly well and most roads around Nashville during such winter storms are largely un-navigable.

Guests have access to the entire home. However, we do ask that you do not attempt to enter the detached work shop, touch any of the equipment by the workshop or climb over any fences. Anything beyond the fences are not part of the property. Thx
Please make sure all trash is bagged and taken to the large trash cans located at the chicken coop near the driveway. No untagged trash will be collected and an additional fee will be charged for trash left out of bags. Thanks so much.

Please do not leave the fire pit unattended. Douse the fire after use.

The indoor fireplace is decorative only. Not so be used.

No loud music or shouting on the property please. This is a quiet countryside community and maintaining the placid environment for the surrounding homes is very important to us as home owners.
