Bienvenido al lago .... Entra, relajarse y disfrutar. Bienvenido a nuestra casa de 4 dormitorios, 4 baños y 3 pisos terminados, todos con impresionantes vistas del lago Wallenpaupack. Hay una gran cocina para todos los miembros de su familia que se reúnen, un montón de mesa y sillas tanto dentro como fuera, incluso tenemos un porche para las noches cuando no se quiere combatir a los insectos. La planta principal tiene el dormitorio principal con cama king y baño privado, la planta alta tiene tres dormitorios, uno con una reina, una con una completa y otro con tres gemelos. El loft en el nivel superior tiene una sala de televisión con sofá, planta principal tiene planta abierta con TV de pantalla plana, cocina, comedor, lavadero y porche de la pantalla, mientras que el nivel inferior tiene otra sala de estar con televisión de pantalla plana, sofá seccional grande, mesa de juego 1/2 baño y puertas correderas de cristal a otro de la cubierta y la vía que conduce al lago. Un montón de espacio para hasta 10 personas. Nivel inferior tiene un montón de espacio para los colchones de aire xtra, dormitorio principal es lo suficientemente grande para el paquete n jugar o un colchón de aire para los niños.

Beautiful and peaceful

The property was beautiful (except the outdated furniture) with amazing views. Sitting on the dock was very peaceful.

Lovely getaway

We had a great 5-day stay at Sunnyview Chalet. The home was clean, full of Light and right in the water. We rented a boat, swam, read books, did several puzzles, enjoyed a walk by the trail on the lake, and made great family memories.

Definitely enjoyed our stay at Lake Wallenpaupack! House was great with awesome views of the lake. No AC was a little rough seeing we stayed during heatwave but fans around the house made it bearable.

Great fishing trip, again.

Just enjoyed another great weekend with this fantastic lake Wallenpaupack house. This is the third year we’ve been back, and next year will be the fourth. The dock is perfect for your boat, and the house has plenty of room to spread out.

Tranquility on the lake

We could not expected anymore. It was everything we imagined it to be. We came with 3 couples and everyone couldn’t say enough about the view, the porch all the rooms were spotless. We all can’t wait to come back next year.

The deck needs a little more attention. We had to clean all chairs and tables to use them. The dock wasn't usuable for a day and a half. Overall the house is nice

Review

The only Issue is saw was the Doc light did not work. Not that we needed it just a little treacherous on the steps after dark. The only other down fall was no AC, which we new going in. It was a pretty hot week and did not cool down enough at night. Overal we had a great week and love the property.

Great family vacation spot!

The house was clean, located close to restaurants and marinas, and had plenty of room for us. Being on the water with a dock gave us lots of options to kayak, paddle board, and float in tubes. The firepit was great to use at night - just be sure to bring chairs unless sitting on tree stumps is comfortable for the whole family. (Kids were fine, the adults needed more support!) One thing to note is there are A LOT of steep steps to get down to the firepit/ water and back. They’d be difficult for any elderly people, toddlers, or physically challenged folks. Heck… after a long day on the lake, they were tough for all of us! All in all, great house and location for lakeside fun!

Bats in the belfry!

My family stayed at this lovely house in August. Unfortunately, there was a bat in the house which was coming in to the bedroom through a crawl space. After being awakened by a bat in their room, my adult daughter and her family had to spend many hours getting the required rabies vaccine for bat exposure in the night. Obviously, this was very disruptive to our vacation, and costly, but without compensation from the owners. The main living space in the house was otherwise very nice, but the dock access is poor and requires climbing over rocks. The basement smelled of mildew and was unusable. We certainly will not come back.

We are saddened that your experience in our beautiful home was not ideal. Our little slice of our lake is very fun and peaceful and you are very much a part of nature when you are here. We have lots of wildlife that we enjoy. We have seen a family of deer grazing often in the area. We have had an encounter with a skunk and have seen many hawks and occasionally an eagle. We have never seen a bat and would never have any reason to believe that there were bats in the house. None of our other guests have ever reported any bats. Our property manager is very responsive and I feel addressed your issues quickly. We did have a pest control company come seal the crawl space and explain where the bats may have come from. Nature will find a way when human beings invade their space. My son and I have mold allergies and have never had a problem being in the lower level of the house - that being said, we are happy to look further into this and have purchased a mold test kit to monitor the situation and will address it if the conditions are unsafe.

Live Laugh Lake

The house is very nice. All 10 of us fit comfortably. There is lots of natural light in all rooms. The main floor has plenty of space to gather to cook, eat, and relax all together. The decks and screened in porches with lake views were great to eat or just relax. Our only issue with the house was the beds - they were hard and uncomfortable. The dock has plenty of space to sit and swim, plus dock a boat. The walkway down the yard is easy to use and has a great landing with fire pit. The final wooden steps to dock are not easy. The final steps were difficult. We had some people with difficulties and this was not a good fit. Any other issues were easily solved with realtor. Very response to any concerns and great problem solving. Overall a good trip with new family motto - Laugh, Live, Lake.

Perfect location

Just wrapped up our second stay here. That house is great for a large family, and is perfectly located on the lake. Instructions are very clear, and the house has everything you need. Definitely plan on coming back again.

Very nice

Lovely home great location but if you need AC you will be uncomfortable. We were fortunate to have cool nights. Beautiful lake. Owner provides no play toys so if you want to kayak or canoe you must bring or rent. Cindy was a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful Serenity

This is a nice-sized house; secluded yet within feet of Lake Wallenpaupak. My family's favorite parts of the house were the large livingroom, large kitchen with 2 fridges, the firepit and the lake dock where there is plenty of room to sun yourself, dock your boating toys and swim using the two ladders. Air conditioning is not needed (for those concerned about heat). Our family was there the 3rd week in July with over 90 degree days yet the shade of the trees kept the house cool with just fans if there was not a breeze. The evenings dropped down to high 60s and low 70s with cool breezes. A few other things we liked: (1) the property manager was excellent with correspondence; (2) the house is located at a quiet and beautiful location on the lake; (3) the driveway is level at the house front door; and (4) dining on the outdoor deck. We have rented houses for over 20 years and this one we would definitely return to.

NO AC - NO TOWELS but Great Lake access

Listing is accurate outside the lack of AC or towels. Do NOT come here in summertime. You will absolutely melt.

Fishing weekend

Great basecamp for a few days of fishing on Lake Walllenpaupack. House is spacious, updated and clean. Kitchen is well stocked with all the pans, utensils, and containers you will need. We will definitely be back next year.

Lovely lake getaway

My family and I were looking forward to this vacation and it did not disappoint. The house was spacious and clean. The lake was gorgeous and the dock allowed for easy swimming, kayaking and parking for our boat rental. It was fairly private with only a couple of other houses within view. The only con was there was no central air but we had the windows open at night and it was plenty to cool down the house.

Enjoyed our family vacation. House Needs some deep cleaning. fans, windows, outside furniture Overall clean , Quiet setting. Very spacious, pet friendly plenty of hot water ! Many areas to eat inside and out.
