We had a most wonderful time here! The hosts were fabulous, great communicators and so conscientious of our needs. The place was immaculate and had every amenity we needed. The pool might be small, but it totally served all of our needs and we were a group of 5! Book this place, you’ll be very happy you did!

Great NEW option in La Paz

The property is as advertised, if not better. This is a very good option that is very well located to the male on. The check-in process and communication was excellent and if our needs as a family ever have us coming back to La paz's will be my first option.

Beautiful Investment of Time!

This home is an absolute gem! Loved the attention to detail from the notes around the home to make each interaction that much easier to the amazing comfort of the beds, linens, and duvet covers. Plenty of comfort items have been meticulously thought out to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing! Loved it! And highly recommend experiencing it for yourself! Cannot wait to come back! Also, want to add, Thelma was an absolute pleasure of a co-host and super helpful throughout the entirety of our stay.

Perfect Stay..

Everything about this house in the heart of city was just what you would want it to be: an easy walk to everything, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated comfortable furniture, spacious; The indoor and outdoor spaces were lovely, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening drink. Very well taken care of by the house managers. Thelma the house manager was delightful and very helpful. She met us at the door, walked us through the whole house. She was easy to work with and very responsive with our booking. We’d love to return! We would absolutely come back to this lovely home.

Best place in La Paz

My wife, sister, niece and I stayed here in early December. The property is amazing. The photos do not do it justice. All the design details are tasteful and well executed. Thre is a gated parking spot. It is two blocks from the Malecon but the neighborhood itself is relatively quiet. The property manager, Thelma, was great and communicated well. We had plane delayed, and Thelma adjusted her schedule for us.The pool is a small design, beautiful and efficient. The bed was very comfortable. Wifi worked well. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. We watched the sunset from the rooftop every night, then walked to some great restaurants. Many thanks to Thelma and her team.

Such a disappointment

First of all, the home is gorgeous, stunning, clean. That was not the issue. The issues (plural) is the inaccuracy of the description of the home and the on-site property manager's behavior. The VRBO owner was very fair with us in the end, but will not ever go back to this property that is in a crummy neighborhood with a dead dog right in the entry that was explained away by the property manager (PM) as, "Well, that's just Mexico!" Having traveled all over Mexico, that is just not true. Yes, there are unfortunately deceased animals on the roadsides, but when you rent a home that turns out to be in a dump of a neighborhood with a dead dog right as you walk up to the home, well that is NOT "just Mexico." The PM said she could not do an anything for the dead dog but cover it up, which only made it worse as day after day the poor animal just laid there. BROKE our hearts. There was a car that had crashed in to a tree across the street, parts strewn around. The stairs in the home are unforgiving. So if you plan to take young kids there, be sure to bring baby gates or ask them to provide. The pool is advertised as being 86 degrees, but it is NOT and the property manager controls the temp. The backyard is mostly in the shade, so if you like that, then the yard will work for you. There is a rooster nearby that guaranteed will wake you every morning around 4:30 am. If you can roll with these things, you will love the place, as we said, the house is absolutely beautiful.

Wow, was it really as you stated Jon, ¨SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT?¨ That comment certainly doesn't fit the theme of other guests that have only left 5 star reviews, including on AIRBNB. Please ask yourself where the problem really lies? Every effort on our part was made to make your stay a positive experience. In the end, your last night was fully refunded. It was unfortunate that a dog owned by a neighbor down the street was fatally hit and placed on the boulevard in front of their home and was not tended to. The dog WAS NOT right at the entry as you stated. It was also unfortunate that the property manager was made responsible for a neighbor's deceased dog and was told to remove it immediately. After covering the dog, we worked behind the scenes to have the dog removed as quickly as possible and this was accomplished. Casa Colibri is located in a traditional Mexican community in El Centro, with a mix of modern homes and old traditional dwellings, with very friendly neighbors. We have never had a complaint about a rooster or the neighborhood as you have described. The pool was heated to 86 degrees but when the sun passes over the patio in the afternoon, it can feel chilly. It's an unrealistic request for a guest to manage the pool heater. The stairs in the home is a valid point and this will be mitigated with railings. Nevertheless, we thank you for providing us with your feedback as we continually work to make improvements to provide an exceptional guest experience.

De verdad que 100/10, el trato siempre fue excelente, la comunicación y la apertura desde el inicio de la reserva, la casa cuenta con todo para cocinar aquí, nos recibieron con cervezas y refresco, Al lado había una persona que hacía masajes, los Uber llegan con facilidad, restaurantes deliciosos cerca, tienen todo para que vayas a hacer picnic a la playa y SIN DUDA VOLVERÉ. Estamos agradecidas y encantadas con todo
