Part of the Village Collection at Lakeside Getaways, Cedarwood Loft is part of our Lakeside Quartet—four cottages set on a private 10-acre wooded peninsula on Lac St. Pierre in Val-des-Monts, Quebec. Village Collection properties can be rented individually for an intimate escape or together for larger group gatherings, offering the perfect blend of privacy and community.
This charming two-level cabin is perfect for a family, parents and a couple of children in the upstairs loft. Its fire pit area offers serene lake views, while a nearby shared dock and watercraft invite you to swim, paddle, and explore. Indoors, a wood stove creates a warm ambience for cooler nights, and the compact but well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for home-cooked meals. This is a one-bedroom cottage with loft accommodation for younger ones who can navigate the ladder up to their bed.
Just 30 minutes from Ottawa, Cedarwood Loft offers the ideal balance of seclusion and accessibility, with groceries, dining, hiking, and skiing all nearby. It’s a little slice of lake life that’s easy to love year-round.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this place was magnificent. My girlfriend and I loved quiet morning coffees on the dock and a campfires with a lake view. We also enjoyed the lake view from every window!Our only complaint was we couldn’t stay longer :)Would 100% recommend a stay here.

What a wonderful amd charming cottage this was! It was perfect for our getaway for our wedding anniversary. The place was very clean and completely equipped with everything you might need. I would just recommend replacing the sofa bed to accommodate guests with a more comfortable place to sit and enjoy the great views.

The hosts were very nice and on top of things and responsive and the cabin was a cozy and cute! The bathroom was excellent! I would suggest that a measuring cup and a large ceramic or glass bowl for the microwave would be very useful. Otherwise, quite pleasurable! Thank you to Jen and Robin! Would visit again!

Nice little cottage

Very nice little cottage. Once you get the wood stove going, it works extremely well. The bed is very comfortable. Better than mine at home. Quiet. Just what I wanted.

It was a very cute and quaint cottage. The cottage itself had all the amenities we wanted. There was a cute hiking trail 5 minutes from our place. We shared the dock with others and we were close to the other cottages as well but it didn’t bother us. Everyone was super friendly!

Great getaway with friendly neighbours

We had a great 3-night stay! The cottage was cozy, well-equipped, and felt private inside, and the views were wonderful. The lakefront was beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time there. Just a heads-up for future guests — the other two cottages are much closer than the listing suggests. It wasn’t an issue for us since the neighbours were lovely, but it could be if the larger cottage has a full group. The shared dock was fine, but it could feel crowded in that case and sharing the kayaks and life vests required some coordinating with the other group. Overall, we had a wonderful time — just a few things to know in advance!

We absolutely loved our stay here and honestly wished we could move in! The cottage is beautiful, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped — they truly thought of everything we could possibly need. The hosts were so accommodating and made sure we had a wonderful experience. One of the highlights was the water: it was crystal clear, perfect for swimming, and made our days on the lake unforgettable. The peaceful setting, comfortable accommodations, and attention to detail made this one of our favourite getaways. We can’t wait to come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

L'annonce donne l'impression que le chalet est isolé, mais il est plutôt tout juste à côté d'autres chalets, mais surtout derrière une grande maison de deux étages. Tout était propre, la communication excellente, etc, mais je recherchais un endroit privé, tranquille pour pouvoir décrocher et ce n'était pas cet endroit.

This Guest apparently did not read the very first paragraph in the Vrbo description: "Part of the Village Collection at Lakeside Getaways, Cedarwood Loft is part of our Lakeside Quartet—four cottages set on a private 10-acre wooded peninsula on Lac St. Pierre in Val-des-Monts, Quebec. .... can be rented individually for an intimate escape or together for larger group gatherings, offering the perfect blend of privacy and community." The other ratings this Guest gave for Cedarwood Loft were all 5 stars! The Loft is a wonderful cottage that regularly gets high ratings from our other Guests. Others have found exactly what they want there. We are sincerely sorry that Etienne did not.

Tout est très propre et exactement ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce. Réactivité de l'hôte est impécable. L'équipement fournis, comme les kayaks et les articles de cuisines, sont en bon état. Seul chose c'est qu'on aurait aimé savoir que les voisins sont assez proches. Bien que se soit indiquer c'est un peu plus près que ce qu'on pensait ce qui peu nuire à l'intimité par fois. Mais sommes toutes nous avons passer un excellent moment et nous recommandons l'endroit

Cedarwood Loft is a charming, compact cottage located on a bluff overlooking scenic Lac St. Pierre. Here you have a fire pit (with fire wood provided!) a comfortable cottage for two adults and two kids, and beautiful scenery all around you! The Loft is delightful for the younger set.
