Lovely home that accommodated our family perfectly. We brought 2 small babies and a dog. Whatever your travel plans are, this home will be perfect. It was clean, host was very responsive and accounting, and check in/out was smooth. Very comfortable stay.

Overall, place was wonderful. Accurate description, great communication, and wonderful location for you to have a quiet place with access to many wonderful wineries. This house is darling! So bright and cheerful. It is literally only a block from wine tasting and restaurants in downtown Carlton. The host was super responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Adorable Townhouse and Great Location

This place is adorably decorated-modern yet cozy. It had all the basic amenities you need to feel at home. We loved its location as we could walk to so many great restaurants and tasting rooms. Also appreciated the host being so responsive when we encountered inclement weather.

This place is everything, and more, as described. Communication was A. The townhome is beautifully decorated, has every provision for cooking, very quiet neighborhood. We loved staying in Carlton. We even took a day trip to Cannon Beach. We will definitely recommend and hope to return! Thank you for a great five days!!

Lovely place in great location

This townhouse is perfectly situated a block from great eateries and right in the heart of Oregon wine country. Plus, it is spanking clean, cheerful, impeccably decorated, and comfortable. And what a delight it was to take a plunge in the hot tub after a day of touring around. I would stay here again, for sure.

Perfect!

Property was perfect for us. We loved the location. Close to many wineries. Walking distance to tasting rooms & great restaurants & ice cream! :-) We drove to Silverton one day & hiked Silver Falls State Park Ten Waterfalls. It was great to have the hot tub after that! Management was super responsive to all questions, house was very clean & cute. We would come back!

Fabulous!

Six of us stayed for the weekend, in town for a bike race, and everything was great! The townhouse was spotless, decor was lovely, and everything was easy to figure out. The main suite was luxuriously large. Office and sofa bed were on the cozier side but we knew that coming in based on the listing info. We could walk to dinner (and ice cream), which is always a plus. We enjoyed the back patio and hot tub. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect for our group of two couples. It was very walkable to several wineries. Our favorite was a tasting at Big Table Farm. We also enjoyed a wine pairing dinner at the Horse Radish. Carlton was a great location to travel to Dundee and Newberg tastings as well. The size was perfect, beds comfortable and the hot tub and outdoor space a perfect ending to the day!The Carlton Corners was a fun surprise in that it was delicious food in a gas station! I would suggest grabbing food from a full size store on the way, as selection is limited at the mini-mart.

Great place to stay. Very clean and new. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils pots pans. Bed was comfortable and had nice clean cotton sheets. Not those cheap synthetic sheets so many rentals we’ve stayed at have had. Close to MAC and in a neat little country town. Loved it and would definitely go back.

She had the Wine Country Farmhouse…he had the Walter Link House, which is how Anita and Larry met. Well...it was at the UFO Festival, but that’s another story. The result was another Vacation Rental, and now another one along the way. Both are natives who grew up in the wine industry; as kids, Anita picked grapes during harvest on one of the first vineyards in Dundee, and Larry was raised on a farm in what is now the McMinnville AVA. Like Salmon, they returned after exploring the world to pursue their passion in their hometown: preserving historic properties and sharing Oregon Wine Country with the world. By joining forces—with Anita’s background in real estate and Larry’s background in construction—they have created a solid team in the growing family of Wine Country Properties.

This vacation rental is on a quiet, clean street with light traffic, where pedestrians walk their dogs and say "hello." The sidewalks are new, and it is a leisurely stroll around the block to Ken Wright Cellars and all the tremendous award-winning restaurants, wine-tasting rooms, bakeries, coffee, and boutique shops. Most of the homes on this block are vacation rentals, so you'll feel safe and welcome in this area. Carlton is a small rural town within the mecca of Oregon Wine Country. It is 10 minutes to McMinnville, 15 minutes to Dayton, or take a beautiful drive through the Red Hills and come upon Dundee. These towns are worth exploring, as you'll find hundreds of small vineyards everywhere.

The townhome was built in 2022 with a unique design. Only one side of the garage exterior wall connects to the next unit's garage, so you do not share a wall with the next-door neighbor. The townhome streams in natural light with its high ceilings on both floors and large windows from all sides of the home. And, as you would expect, the place is very comfortable with all its new modern features: central heat/AC, appliances, and an up-to-date floor plan. The backyard has secure fencing, and the grill and heat lamp are a bonus.
