Our Outlet- Crystal Lake access on Outlet Bay/private street

Welcome to Our Outlet- on Outlet Bay, Crystal Lake!

Come relax in our open concept cottage located on a dead end street that leads right into Crystal Lake (~175 feet to lake access). Owned and operated by our family of four, this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home offers plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the area. Utilize the fully stocked kitchen and outdoor griddle, spread out in the backyard, or find a game to play in the basement when you're not enjoying the water (paddle boards and kayaks provided).

Location:
Located in a private neighborhood with locals and seasonal guests, our cottage provides a serene escape. Enjoy access to the large Outlet Bay sandbar on Crystal Lake or play in the front or back yard. Bike to Beulah or Frankfort on the Betsie Valley Bike Trail, a 1/2 mile away from the cottage. The DNR boat ramp is a mile away (no dock, hoist or mooring available on Crystal Lake with our property; items cannot be left at lakeshore). Frankfort and Lake Michigan are an easy 5 minute drive or explore nearby wineries/breweries, golf courses, ski resort, Sleeping Bear Dunes, or local towns.

Accommodations:
-Bedroom 1: King bed, standard closet, main floor
-Bedroom 2: Two twin beds, standard closet, main floor
-Bedroom 3: Queen bed, standard closet, basement
We allow eight guests so plan accordingly for sleeping arrangements.

Our 1,800 sq ft cottage features:
-Full kitchen with modern appliances
-Air fryer, slow cooker, Keurig coffee maker (bring your own), ice machine
-High-speed WiFi, 2 Smart TV's, dedicated workspace
-Air Conditioning
-Outdoor dining area (picnic table for 8), griddle/grill, fire pit
-Keyless entry, free parking (up to 3 vehicles) in private drive

House Rules:
-Strictly no loud noise (no fireworks), parties, or gatherings exceeding occupancy limit
-Respect neighbors' privacy, stay in designated property and lake access areas
-Smoke-free home, no pets allowed (we do bring our dogs so not pet-free)
-Check-in at 4:00 pm, check-out at 10:00 am (professionally cleaned between guests)
-Provide your own life jackets and bicycles
-Fireplace is not available for guest use

A detailed guidebook includes arrival details, house rules, safety information, local favorites, and more. Local brochures and menus available at cottage.

We provide a starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, and dishwasher tabs. You may need to purchase more of these items during your stay. We also supply all bed linens plus bath and kitchen towels. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.

At booking, you will be given the option to select a damage waiver. This waiver protects you in case there is accidental damage during your stay. We know accidents happen so please report any damages so we can properly prepare for future guests.

While this property is new to VRBO in 2025, we are not new to hosting. We loved our first cottage (VRBO #2249821; 9.8/10 based on 48 reviews) but when our neighbors decided to sell their cottage, we couldn't pass up the opportunity for a larger space on the same street. We're working to make this one our own and continue creating memories, even with it's quirks (unlevel floors in a couple of spots). We look forward to sharing it with you.
