Vivian's Cabin - Super Cute Lakefront Cabin with Private Dock!
Vivian’s Cabin is ready! Updated, bright, fun & fresh! The cabin is on 50’ of lake frontage on Manistee Lake and is situated about 70 yards from the road (which can be busy). Dog-friendly and family-friendly with a bonfire ring / chairs with lakeview! If you are looking for an affordable, simple, cute spot to stay up north - Vivian’s Cabin is perfect for you and your family!

Tabitha, our local property manager, will always be available during your stay with anything you may need.
NEIGHBORHOOD:
The cottage is right next door to our other 2 bedroom cabin, Forrest's Cabin, which sleeps 6. You can rent both for groups of 8 to 11! There is a big yard in front and in back. The lake access is across the road (County Road 612). The water is currently quite high so there is no “beach” but there is a shared dock.
There is a convenience store 0.5 miles away and also a pizza parlor up the east side of the lake. The cabin is 12 minutes from downtown Kalkaska and 35 minutes from Traverse City.
GUEST ACCESS:
Vivian’s cabin is the cabin to the left when pulling up driveway. Blue door entrance way, labeled “Vivian’s cabin.” There is a keyless entry, with a code provided.
SPACE:
Newly renovated cabin! Relaxing and fresh. Enjoy a beautiful camp fire with lake views and sunsets. There are two cabins onsite with a shared driveway.
TRANSIT:
We are located 12 minutes from Kalkaska. 35 minutes from Traverse City. It is recommended that guests have their own vehicle.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1) NO AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the property does NOT have air conditioning. As such, it may get warm in the house during the summer if it is warm outside.
2) PET POLICY: Up to 2 dogs are permitted at the property. If bringing 1 or 2 dogs, please make certain that they are included on the reservation and that the pet fee is appropriately paid. More than 2 dogs is strictly prohibited and any pets other than dogs are also strictly prohibited.
3) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.
4) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.
5) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.
6) LAKE: Lake is across the street.
7) LAYOUT: Two cottages onsite - shared driveway for both.
8) BUGS: You will want to bring a lot of bug spray.
9) NO WATER TOYS: Water toys not provided due to liability, bring or rent your own (kayak, boat, paddleboard, etc.)
10) FIREWOOD: Firewood not provided.
11) TRASH: Trash pick up is every Monday morning. The trash bin will need to be placed at the end of the driveway by Sunday night.
12) SHOES: We ask that you remove your shoes while inside.
13) SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited.
14) PARTIES: Parties are strictly prohibited.
