Overall the location was great for what we were looking for. Everything went smoothly, the only thing was that we tried reaching out to the host because their wasn't any paper or information on the check-out process the night before checkout and it took 15 hours for them to respond, and they responded 15 minutes before we were supposed to check-out. They did *not* have trash bags, dishwasher stuff, or toilet paper.

Good stay

I believe we were the first guests at this house, we had a great time. The view of great, it was clean, and the host had excellent communication. I would recommend this stay or book here again.

Cons: More toilet paper upstairs More washcloths!!! Light switches are extremely confusing. Especially upstairs. Also, livingroom fan light is out, at least we think it is due to the confusing light switches. No sugar options for coffeeUpstairs bedroom needs a thicker blanket or more blankets in general. Downstairs half bath toilet needs maintenance, as it doesn’t flush unless you hold it for a while.Foosball balls are missingHouse needs a larger inside trash canPros:Overall though, house is beautifully remodeled. Master bathroom is wonderful. Backyard view is beautiful for a DFW subdivision. Highway is fairly quiet. There’s a neighbor cat that comes around in the morning and night time to socialize. We named him Hubbard - based off of the lake. Neighbors seem to be fairly quiet and the AC works great. Firepit recommended! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice host, but wouldn’t stay again

First, the stay was pleasant, the house was just not what it could have been. The house was aesthetically pleasing, but there are some functional oddities that show this is definitely a fresh and relatively amateur reno. For example, there are battery operated light switches for all of the upstairs lights. These batteries were dead and made it so we could not turn off any of the lights on the second floor (two bedrooms and the studio) until I got 32A batteries from the store. The host was pleasant and communicated decently when there were problems, but the posting is misleading; there is no world where this place sleeps 10 without air mattresses. The road outside basically needs a truck to traverse without damage due to major road damage and construction. The furniture is new but cheap (sofa-bed seats basically collapsed under a skinny adult). The kitchen is not stocked with enough dishes and utensils. The first floor is nice and the master shower was amazing. The cleaning crew needs to be fired though, as I found a condom wrapper next to the master bed.

The house was absolutely fabulous. Great for a weekend getaway with the family. Host was very kind and had speedy replies when I had messged them about certain things in the house.
