Este hermoso condominio de un dormitorio / un baño en el octavo piso tiene hermosos pisos de madera de koa en la sala de estar y el dormitorio. El baño está recién remodelado con tocador de granito y ducha de azulejos. La cocina totalmente equipada incluye una nevera grande, horno, lavavajillas y microondas. Se proporcionan todos los platos, utensilios y pequeños electrodomésticos.

Perfect location and so comfortable

We loved staying here, the condo was clean, comfortable and quiet. There are two pools and a great beach right at the condo, plus a convenient restaurant on the property. Many options for food in easy walking distance including food trucks, grocery store, pharmacy and a walk in medical clinic that helped with an emergency. A beautiful view from the lanai as well. Would love to stay here again. Mahalo!

Kaanapali Shores

We celebrated our anniversary on Maui this year and had a nice place to stay while doing so. Our condo was well-cared for and well-stocked, furnished with new appliances. We enjoyed a wonderful view of Moloka'i where we actually got married ten years ago. And the owner is super nice and very attentive. We would encourage anybody that's looking at their vacation options to spend a week here!

Awesome view

The communication with the owner was awesome! She always got back to us in a timely manner. The check in process was very easy, as well as the check out process - seamless! We stayed at the Kaanapali Shores two years ago and was in 939 so it was directly above where we stayed this time. The view is beautiful!!! I make protein shakes every day and having a blender there was awesome. The washer and dryer was so convenient to have there. The condo itself was very clean and as represented in the listing. The only thing that I would say is that the couch has a bit of a “body odor” smell to it. Everything was great!!!

Vacationing in paradise listening to a jackhammer

Five days prior to our arrival the host let us know that there would be construction going on at the resort. At that time she said she could not offer any discount on our stay except if they were actually working on the balcony for our unit. They were not working on the our balcony but they might as well of been. The constant drilling was not making our stay enjoyable at all. The host had known since December 2021 and did not notify us of the upcoming construction or offer a refund. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom mounted by the sink but it does not work. We contacted the host who let us know the was one in a drawer. Why not remove the one that doesn't work? We picked this unit because of the view but could use the balcony do to the drilling and hammering. And why is it when got on VRBO it showed a discount was now being offered a week after we left.

Thank you for your feedback on your stay. I am sorry that you found the noise to be such a negative for your stay. It can be intense during some of the day, but it isn’t a constant 9-5 noise according to comments from our other guests. Again, I am sorry that it was so distracting for you. The discount you are referring to was due to a cancellation of a 21-day stay. As it was last minute I was offering the discount in order to fill the available days and provide some refund to the guests. I appreciate the feedback on the broken hair dryer and it will be removed and the wall painted where it was mounted. I hope you will still plan to return to Aston Kaanapali Shores in the future even if staying in a different condo. It is truly a great place on Maui. Just to let you know for any future plans, the rail project is not scheduled to be completed until Fall 2023.

nice high-rise

Pluses: -good location, central to the West Maui area, easy to get to Lahaina, Whalers' Village, and the quieter areas to the north; also, easy access for all kinds of shopping (drive or walk) -espresso cafe in the lobby - very nice grounds, lobby, a nice gym - a beautiful garden in the middle of the hotel - the birds singing there were amazing, I thought, at first, it was a recording of the tropical bird singing, could not believe it was real. But it was, there are tons of birds in the garden. Amazing. Geckos, too. - it is on the seventh floor, but the elevator is fast - the owner is very helpful and responsive, and was quick to help us with all our issues (such as us trying to find the boogie-boards, which were on the Lanai, and finding/organizing an affordable roll-away bed to rent). - one of the jacuzzis is open till 11 p.m. - the unit has all modern amenities - dish washer, etc. Adequately stuffed kitchen, enough chairs. - good snorkeling is a 15-20 min beach walk to the left of the hotel (after the third glass building). In front of the hotel the beach is fine for swimming. - the hotel restaurant is good, and so is the restaurant in the pink hotel next to this one (5 min beach walk) What I liked less: - the bedroom gets somewhat stuffy because the window there does not open (looks like this design is the same for all the units in the building). If you use air conditioning, it might not be an issue for you, we did not use it. - also, the bedroom could use additional lighting, it was dark in there both at night and during the day (high frosted window). - the unit is not very close to the ocean, so you get an ocean view when you look to the left from the balcony. You can also see it from one part of the living room, but if you look from inside the unit straight out to the balcony, you don't see it. If you look down, you see the garden with the birds (nice), if you look across, you see the other side of the building (not close, across the garden). The balcony is positioned in a way to be fairly private. - the beach area for that cluster of resorts is called Honokowai. If you want to have great snorkeling right in front of your hotel, you might want to choose another area. (But - you are within 20 min driving distance of about 6 world-class snorkeling areas in both directions, if you don't mind getting in the car :). Overall, we had a great time :)

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and the wonderful amenities in the condo and at the resort. I was happy to help you locate and rent the roll-away bed to accommodate your family. I appreciate your feedback on the bedroom lighting and will look at ways to make any needed improvements in that area. I wanted to comment on the view from our 8th floor condo which has received only great comments from other guests. Many have commented that the view is much better in person than in the pictures! We are able to offer very competitive and lower prices and still offer a great view. I hope you will consider us again if you return to Maui. Mahalo!

Communication with host was great, unit was very nice, with great view, kitchen fully stocked. There were beach chairs, umbrella, and sand toys for kids. Kaanapali Shores is our favorite place on Maui and this was our second time at this unit.

Condo, grounds and beach speaks volumes!!! Look no further. Book this place if available. Will not regret it. Unit is close to everything,parking lot.Elevators are near by. View from Lanai is breath taking!!! Highly recommend!!!

Nice condo, thoughtful extras

The owner was great about communicating with me, answering questions and making recommendations. While the complex is a bit on the older side, the condo and the property are well-maintained and the condo was very clean. What we really appreciated, that made this stand out so much more than a sterile hotel room, were the thoughtful extras - a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, plush toilet paper, a collapsible grocery cart to wheel across the street to the grocery store, and beach chairs and an umbrella. We felt very at home with everything that was provided. It's a great location with ample (paid) parking, a food truck court right on the edge of the property, and a strip mall with a grocery store right across the street.

Nice property, great owner

The property is very nice. The room feels reasonably updated, the beds were comfortable. Sofa beds are never great, but this one was above average. The owner was outstanding to work with, she advised us on some temporary construction prior to booking, as opposed to just taking our money. I feel she is very honest with her customers. The property itself has a great pool area and beautiful landscaping. The property does not have a beach (it has a retaining wall to protect the property from the surf) but the adjacent property has a decent beach you can use. Snorkeling off of the beach is reasonably good, withs some coral formations and large schools of fish (and a turtle). The best snorkeling I found was off the far side of the adjacent beach.

Lovely stay

We enjoyed a long stay at this condo. Quiet and comfortable. Lovely property. The view was wonderful from the balcony. Restaurant on the property and many others in walking distances. Pools were very nice.

Lovely property in a great location.

Great communication with the owner, Melanie. The property is definitely as advertised. The pool area is convenient and allows for great ocean views. Nice restaurant on site with good food. Great beach access and easy in and out to all the great attractions in Maui. Recommend close by Airport Beach for snorkeling.

We loved our stay in this condo. It’s in a great location. Everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach is provided. Kitchen had everything we needed & more. Bed was super comfortable to us. Only thing I would change is to stay longer!
