Perfect house set up for children - close to MONA, city, and Richmond

Relax with the whole family at this home on the bank of the Derwent River. 7 mins from Supermarkets, 5 mins from MyState Bank arena, 12 mins to MONA, and 13 mins to the CBD.

Tassie can be cold, but you won't be with our cozy double-glazed windows and excellent heating.

Relax outdoors in front of the fire and enjoy river views. Or perhaps go for a walk up the bush track, or walk along the river front.

Peacefully tucked away, you won't have any traffic noise here.

The space:
Our house is a 3-bedroom house suitable for kids and adults with many helpful considerations for both. You'll have access to everything except the locked garage.

Master Bedroom:
- 1 (one) King Bed, near-block-out blind, cozy double-glazed window.
- Walk-in wardrobe with shelves and hanging space.
- Ensuite with shower, toilet, vanity, and mirror.
- Power points in bathroom and power with USB charging at bedside and in bathroom.

Second Bedroom:
- 1 (one) Queen Bed, near-block-out blind, cozy double-glazed window.

Wonderful property in a very quiet area. Didn't hear anything at night.House was extremely well presented with a full house of amenities. Such as full kitchen with all appliances, and everything you would usually fine in your own home. The laundry was the same with everything you need, minus a dryer.The bedrooms were well appointed with various options pillows, blankets, and doonas, and the mattresses were very comfortable.It did get a little warm down the back without airconditioning and only 1 small fan as it was warm on a few days. Only a consideration for a short time over summer in Hobart!Heating was available for the back rooms, but we didn't require it.The amount of baby and toddler amenities was better than anything we have found before, including baby gate at top of stairs.The portacot was larger than expected and had an extra proper mattress for it. The 2 slept well.Toys and books were a hit with the kids. Especially the train set.If we had older kids the amount of board games would have kept them entertained for days if necessary. We didn't use the tv or game console so can't comment on those.Was surprised there weren't flyscreens on the windows or sliding door, but didn't have issues with flies when we left them open.Parking was great.Outdoor area was good too for the little kids.We would consider coming back in future!

Kitchen had everything that needed for a welcome stay (utensils, crockery and basic essentials) - the hosts have also gone the extra mile providing other simple staples as herbs, spices. We had an enjoyable stay, and surprisingly the house cooled quickly when opening windows once temperature equalised. We were very happy and blessed to stay (4 adults & 4 Children) at a well presented and welcoming house.

Stunning property in quiet location. Fully enclosed yard and baby gate at the top of the stairs. Had many kids items supplied from games to high chair. Was an amazing house and plan to re book on put next trip.

We love the location with a stunning views of the Derwent river, the bridge, mountains and neighbourhood. The kitchen is well set up has put a caring thought for the visitors and well equipped. The host is friendly and promptly answers my query. I would recommend to anybody.

Great house, great communication with host. The house is advertised to sleep more people than it can in beds, inflatable mattress was comfortable though. Cupboards were quite full which meant we couldn’t actually unpack our suitcases and there was no dryer to dry clothes.

First time staying somewhere, where I can't find any faults. We travelled with a 2yo toddler who is very active. Their safety was thought of throughout and child friendly equipment and toys available inside and outside. Perfect for exploring.

Extremely impressed with our stay, the property was very clean, well stocked and warm. You can tell lots of love and thought has been put in by the owners. Everything we needed and more was supplied. Two families holiday in hobart

Perfect house to accommodate children. The kids loved the games and Xbox. My 1 year old was safe with the gate at the top of the stairs as well as lock on the doors under sink. The beds were warm comfortable and clean. All the things we would need as well as a lolly jar for the kids and coffee machine for the adults. Thank you for such a lovely stay

Fantastic house to holiday in.

The house had everything we could possibly need. Our grandsons enjoyed the toys and games that were waiting for them. The lolly jar was enjoyed by all and my husband appreciated having the coffee machine after living on instant the past week. If ever we were to return to Hobart we would seek out this property again.

We had a terrific stay. Seem like an out of the way location but it so quick to get all the places we need and minimal traffic. Can't recommend enough ! The house was excellent , so clean and welcoming. Everything we needed. The kitchen was so well stocked and greatly appreciated the cereal, tea, coffee and milk. It made life so easy. Hobart stay

We were very impressed by the property in general. Probably a little too big for our needs since we were almost always out but couldn’t ask for better facilities. Definitely need a car at this location.
