Residencia del Cónsul. Excelente ubicacion. Céntrico pero apartado. Moderno y moderno

Diseñado por un arquitecto brasileño, muestra un carácter único repleto de luz.
La casa está ubicada en el centro histórico de Ponta Delgada.
Alguna vez fue la residencia oficial temporal del cónsul de EE. UU. Más tarde fue arrendado por 14 años a La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días (Mormones). La misa se celebró en la sala de estar de la casa, el altar estaba en su esquina sureste.
La casa fue comprada y totalmente renovada por los propietarios actuales en 2000 y ha sido asignada a alquileres a corto plazo después de 2016.
Encontrará una casa moderna, espaciosa, con todas las habitaciones y sala de estar recientemente climatizada. La casa es perfecta para familias con un lujoso jardín que lo rodea con un árbol alto y tiene una nueva parrilla al aire libre totalmente equipada desde 2019.
Desde el balcón del piso superior se puede disfrutar de la vista sobre el centro de Ponta Delgada y el Océano Atlántico.
El camino de la casa toma hasta 3 autos. Centro, centro comercial (con supermercado y farmacia) y dos jardines botánicos a diez minutos a pie.

Somos una casa de vacaciones con licencia gubernamental.

There were 10 adults (2 families) that stayed in this roomy home in a great location to walk everywhere in downtown Ponta Delgada. The outdoor kitchen was an added bonus. The only thing missing was a pool!

Lovely house

The house is in a wonderful location, has all the amenities, and is extremely clean. The only negative is the outdoor security lights light up two of the bedrooms at night and the curtain system is old and ineffective at keeping out the bright light.

Wonderful house perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed home. Beautifully decorated and great in and outdoor kitchens! The location was great to enjoy the city night and day with convenient parking. Highly recommend this home!

Location was perfect - could walk everywhere, and property had all amenities could want. Pedro replied quickly to all the extra questions we had. Was a great vacation and look forward to coming back again soon!

Beautiful

The property was absolutely lovely- even nicer than the pictures would suggest! The location was perfect with restaurants and groceries within easy walking distance. Our stay was cut short so we actually would love to return and we would definitely stay here again

Great for groups!

We loved our stay! The property is very large so there is lots of room to be together or get some needed space from family (or any large group) if needed. Location was perfect, very quiet and a 10 minute or less walk into the heart of downtown. Although we were there in the winter, the yard and outdoor kitchen are beautiful and a huge perk. Would recommend to anyone and was a great jumping off point for all of our adventures in Sao Miguel for the week.

Very nice house comfortably located close to the center of Ponta Delgada. House have everything to enjoy. Perfect backyard with grill, aero condition, a lot of space. We feel ourself like at home.

Ideally located just blocks from the action, convenient to mini bus route (across street), this property is perfect for your next vacation. Plenty of rooms to spread out and get some downtime while also featuring great shared spaces. From the outdoor kitchen to the front patio, this was a truly lovely place to stay. We will be back! Can’t imagine a better place!

This was an awesome house and an ideal location for us. A short walk down the hill and we were in the middle of everything! The outdoor kitchen was super cool and perfect for hosting a private chef. The outdoor area was fun and provided a great spot for pictures- we had a local photographer come and take them. We only needed 4 bedrooms but my daughter loved having the spare as a dressing room! She felt Simms I special!! The process of checking in and out was simple and appreciated. Thanks for an amazing space ti stay in the Azores.

Great location beautiful spacious home

Pedro and Cristina are very hospitable and friendly hosts. Always ready and willing to assist with every need. The house is beautiful and spacious. Perfect for a large family with plenty of room to gather together. The outside kitchen is fully equipped including a BBQ for grilling. Great place for spending the evening, unwinding from the days activities. The private garden is large and perfect for the children to play. Location is ideal, walking distance to all amenities. Leave your vehicle parked in the driveway and walk the city enjoying shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful Home, Great Amenities and Location

We initially booked this home because of the size as we were a large party but the house itself was wonderful. The home offers air conditioning which during august was a huge perk, beautiful furniture, great views from the upstairs balcony and a lot of modern amenities such as a washer/dryer and dishwasher. The kitchen also had everything we could possibly need and we made breakfast every day and dinner a lot of the time. An outdoor kitchen/grill was also recently put in which we used at least 3 times and we were able to easily and quickly purchase charcoal from the shop up the street. The house location is very convenient and centrally located and the hotel next door provides an easy landmark and we never had any issues with noise, etc. We were able to access the Parque Atlantico which has a supermarket very quickly as well as all the shops and waterfront with a short walk. The fenced in yard provided space for the children in our group to safely play and the adults enjoyed the shaded front porch. We would definitley stay here again.

Disappointing house.

We booked this house because on the advertise it said that it had air conditioned and we knew of the heat and humidity of the island. But this is not true! 4 of the 5 bed rooms do not have air conditioned. And the one that had, did not work. there were one on the living room that did not work either. We spoke to the owner on the someday but he did not presented any solution. No Discount was made after this hoax. There were some other small issues, but the air conditioned was really bad and serious, we had 7 nights all of them very bad sleeped because of the heat and humidity. And we had 2 small children and it was even worst for them. This should not be allowed by the site of Homeaway, to have an owner advertising something that it does not exist on the house.

Hemos estado muy a gusto en la casa. Es grande, bien equipada, perfectamente limpia y cuidada. Tiene todas las comodidades que hemos necesitado. Esta bien situada, a 5 minutos del centro caminando, y a la vez bien comunicada por carretera para visitar la isla.

BONITA Y CóMODA CASA EN CENTRO DE PONTADELGADA

Hemos compartido un grupo de ocho amigos una estancia de 10 dias en la Casa del Consul de Ponta Delgada ( Azores). La casa , a aparte de ser muy bonita, es muy amplia, y dispone de todos los servicios. Nos hemos sentido muy cómodos en ella. Es de destacar también su ubicación, a tres minutos andando de las partes mas antiguas y bellas del centro histórico de la ciudad. Los propietarios nos han proporcionado todo tipo de atenciones , a parte de un servicio de limpieza general en mitad de nuestra instancia. Sin duda intentaremos repetir viaje a las islas , y desde luego lo intentaremos en esta casa. Antonio Montenegro.

Lovely house in the heart of Ponta Delgada

Charming house with lovely furnishings, very comfortable and well located. Pretty grounds and a great covered outdoor kitchen and dining area for barbecues. Hosts are gracious and quick to respond. We hope to return for another visit!

Clean, spacious accommodations in the heart of Ponta Delgada

We stayed at Consul's residence during a one week visit to Ponta Delgada in February. There were ten of us in total (including 6 young children). The house was extremely spacious - with enough beds and bathrooms for everyone. Everything was very clean and the linens were of excellent quality. The backyard has lots of space for kids to run around. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need. Pedro was very accommodating and helpful. We asked if we could shift some things around to child-proof the house, and he was very encouraging. He also brought us beach towels that we could bring to the thermal springs and allowed us to stay later on our final day so we could enjoy the city before our flight left in the afternoon. The location is extremely convenient. Walkable to a large supermarket, playground and gardens (which our kids loved exploring), as well as to restaurants and cafes downtown. We jogged along the boardwalk every morning and had coffee and gelatos at cute little cafes around the beautiful cobblestoned city. We visited many sights around the island, which were all less than an hour's drive away. We had a fabulous time exploring the island and it was so nice to come home to Consul's residence every evening.

All you could want or need

We were a group of 7 adults who had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house for our time on Sao Miguel. The house is centrally located to everything you could want. It’s very large and comfortable with every amenity at your finger tips. The owner is always very quick to reply to any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this home, you won’t be disappointed

A great house highly recommended

The house is very specious and in a perfect location (quite area with 5 min walk to the mall and 10 min walk to all the restaurants). The kitchen is big and equipped with everything you need. the outside BBQ and dining area is a big plus. We were 2 families sharing the house and had lots of space and privacy. The communication with the host was easy and he provided all the support we needed. Overall it was an amazing place to stay and very much recommended.

The house is so beautiful, and clean,and so well equipped with everything we need. It satisfied needs of 8 very different people in our group. 9 days wasn’t enough to enjoy everything it had to offer. And location could not be more convenient. Walking to the waterfront, delicious market, restaurants. Can’t wait to comeback

Ponta Delgada mini mansion

This house is fantastic inside and out! Five European styled bedrooms (2 with a walk out balcony) two full baths and 2 half. The outdoor kitchen is surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants. A fantastic property!

We just had the pleasure of spending a week at Consul's Residence in Ponta Delgada, and it is everything you see and so much more. The house is beautiful and has every amenity you can imagine, and the outside BBQ and sitting area is beautiful, and only minutes away from the downtown. Beautifully decorated and very quiet! Pedro and his wife were very responsive and were very quick to respond to any questions. We will be heading back to Ponta Delgada again and would definitely stay at the beautiful Consul's Residence again. Thanks D

Great stay!

We were welcomed by our hospitable and service-minded host Pedro who showed us around the house. And what a house it was. Large spacious rooms beautiful decorated, nice furniture, comfy beds and every amenity you think you need (and some more). A lot of space to socialize, both inside the house, on the balcony or in the garden room which was equipped with an outdoor kitchen and barbeque. We had high expectations on the house and they were exceeded! The location of the house is great with a large shopping mall close by and a just short walk to the city centre and the harbour. We were 7 persons and you could easily be 10 without a problem in this house. We had a wonderful stay and can really recommend the Consul’s residence!

Walkable to all the restaurants and huge space!

This is a beautiful, magical space with a very responsive owner. Five of us visited and did an equal amount of cooking and waking to the local restaurants. The location is very close to the airport and the perfect central spot for visiting the island. The outdoor kitchen is amazing for grilling and playing card games on the large outdoor table. The local large grocery storere is right up the street and the restaurants are right down the street by the water. We could easily walk or drive since it had a convenient driveway. The fancy European cooktop was a little difficult to figure out and could use a more detailed description.
