Relaxing Lucky Dog Cottage Retreat at the Lake Edge Cottages!
This cottage has water on 2 sides, offering a long southerly view of Katchewanooka Lake. Perfect for small families, two couples or one couple needing the extra room a 2-bedroom cottage can provide. Outside area has a deck with patio table/4 chairs, and a doggy gate, plus a small dock at the shoreline for reading, relaxing and watching the boats go by.
People still love the outdoors during the cold weather months. Come enjoy hot chocolate with a bonfire under the stars and feel the adventure while hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing on the property or nearby. Indoors, you can cozy up to the fireplace in our all-season cottages and watch a movie from your preferred streaming service. We also have 4 private hot tubs at certain accommodations throughout the year, so you can enjoy a comforting soak under the stars.

Having both grown up in small Ontario communities, we met at Wilfrid Laurier University in 1988. Later, we moved to Toronto where we developed our corporate career/life while raising three children: Stephanie, Tyler, and Jakob.
As a family, we spent 18 summers camping with a tent trailer and exploring the great outdoors, charming towns, and a variety of fascinating wildlife from coast to coast with our children.
Our love of the great outdoors led us to acquire Lake Edge Cottages in 2019. We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to host over 300 families each year at our beautiful vacation destination.
