Nestled up a windy dirt road in the beautiful woods of Townshend Acres, Vermont, Wyldwood is a newly constructed 3-bedroom post & beam house with wrap around porch. Grab your coffee or a cocktail and enjoy the peaceful view. Each bedroom features a cozy queen bed - perfect for a wonderful night's sleep. The 3- full bathrooms are equipped with all essentials, your stay will be enjoyable and stress-free. The upstairs includes a two twin day bed for extra space. The basement sofa is large enough for the whole crew to crash & hang out- there is even a kids hide out underneath the staircase. All three floors have large smart TV's. We had a great stay for a long Memorial Day weekend! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing getaway.We especially loved the coffee bar — it made our mornings so much better and was such a nice touch! The hot tub was another huge bonus and the perfect way to relax and unwind after being out and about all day.Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this home and would happily stay again!

Spacious, clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and restorative. We had a mini family reunion over two nights at Wyldwood and having three full bathrooms was amazing! The cabin is beautifully decorated and one of best stocked kitchens I’ve ever had at a rental. Close to good spots for eats (HoneyPie was a big hit!) and quaint Vermont countryside haunts. We hope to return again someday soon! The hosts were great and helped make our stay even better.

Beautiful VT Getaway

We've been coming up to VT annually for a weekend w friends at Rock River. This home was among our favorites. Very comfortable for 3 couples, gorgeous wrap around porch. Convenient to Newfane and Brattleboro. We will definitely be back.

This is the most wonderful house! In person, the house is a billion times more beautiful than in the pictures!! The hosts were immediately responsive with any Q's we had, and check in and out was seamless. We had an excellent vacation, thank you

Stunning!!

My friend and I of many years booked this house. What a wonderful surprise. First of all, the host was very prompt and efficient. The house was very easy to find. OH my god!! The house is absolutely beautiful. So very clean. It has everything that you would ever need. Now ....to the decor. It was exquisite. In such incredible taste. Modern touches yet very refined and very comfortable. One of the most beautiful homes that I have ever stayed in.

If i could give this home more stars I would. First off, the host was so quick with responses to any questions I had. The home is absolutely beautiful! 3 floors of immaculately clean and beautiful rooms, all so comfortable.A kitchen so well stocked, a peaceful and quiet setting….. I could keep going! I truly hope to get back there some day.

A local Vermonter and an "out of stater" (Connecticut) have been friends for years sharing similar interests such as 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, hiking, hunting & fishing - the great outdoors. Building Wyldwood started out as a passion project - an opportunity to share the neighborhood with everyone.

Townshend Acres is a beautiful, peaceful and secluded neighborhood in Vermont. Close drive to ski mountains (Stratton, Mt. Snow & Bromley), easy access to snowmobile vast trail, plenty of options for wonderful hikes. Enjoy the foliage and apple picking in Fall, snow in Winter, the river/kayaking/fishing in Summer and maple syrup in Spring! Every season has something to offer!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The Wyldwood project started in 2019 when the land was purchased by two friends. The design came together during the COVID years and building started in 2020. It’s a post and beam home meaning not a single nail was used on the original structure - all drilled, pegged & mortised. All the wood used is from Wyldwood’s property and the surrounding hill. As the project took shape, we made a conscious effort to repurpose and recycle unwanted extra materials and furnishings across the entire home.
