Great location and enough room for a group of 4

The property was very was very clear and has enough room to accommodate 4 people and enough space to gather on the living room and kitchen. Great location close to good local restaurants. Around 20 mins from the Stowe mountain, which is not too bad. We would definitely be back!

Overall, I love the property. However, some of the "condo" rooms are begining to look slighty warn/dated. It will still be our place of choice when going to Stowe

Excellent time!

We had a wonderful time! The resort had so many wonderful amenities and so dog friendly. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The room was just like it was described and had everything you needed perfect for our weekend getaway and not far from all the restaurants, breweries and hiking trails.

Great location and property

Overall great property and location. The room itself was neat and had all that was mentioned. The TV was on smaller side and on desk vs wall mounted so took up space of the room. Balcony overlooks the driveway so this room does not have great views but it didn’t say it would Bathroom is large and tub/shower is great. Food options onsite are not great so plan ahead and know the town of Stowe is hard to get tables at night. Overall for a group looking to be right on mountain this is the place to be. (Pool Hot Tub added benefit!)

Everything was good with the exception of the TV. As we had a non skier in the group, the TV was important and this unit had a very small TV in a poor location.

This is at least the 2nd time we have stayed in this unit and would come back. That said a few upgrades could be used. The cabinets doors need to be tightened and they need to fill in missing knives and forks and spoons. Further there were no large plates. Additionally, and this is on the lodge, when we arrived the valets had left for the night so we needed park down the valet line and lug all our stuff up to the room and out of the car. The valet service at Stowe is one of its best services.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect and we recommend this VRBO with the highest marks!

The rental was just as it looked on VRBO. Loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning, hiking, exploring, relaxing, eating…..repeat. Also loved the spa and pool! We will be back.

What To Do During Teachers Convention

My husband surprised me with a short getaway for teacher’s convention (those who are teachers get it…. We need the break more than anything). So he booked this surprise. I knew nothing of where or what I was going to do. I then later learned it was to Vermont and that was all the info I was given. The drive up there was beautiful as always, and the views only got better as the drive continued. When we rolled up to The Lodge at Spruce Peak I was blown away! It was beautiful! Everything about the resort, staff and amenities were more than perfect. When we got to the beautiful room I took such a deep relaxing breath. I knew that for the next couple of nights that it would be just right! Overall between the room, the views from the room, the bath, shower, fireplace and wine it was totally romantic and relaxing. We even found time to walk the amazing trials as well as eat at some of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. I was truly upset when I realized that I had to go home. We cannot wait to book this again sometime soon! Thank you so much for a weekend to remember!

Nice property; negative experience with rental agent

We've stayed at Spruce Peak dozens of times, usually through the hotel. We regret going through the owner's rental agent. We had a unit that became unlivable. When I called, the agent was rude and shushed me. When the issue wasn't fixed again, I was told they probably couldn't get a refund for me. Not possible to stay there at that point. They seemed more interested in $ than customer service. The issue was finally resolved (after more than one disruption in my vacation day) and we then enjoyed our stay. The 2nd maintenance person was good. Will reserve through Spruce Peak next time. It's an attitude issue that wasn't necessary.

Loved it and WILL return!

The Mountain View’s are breathtaking. Room service was average, food just ok. Enjoyed a lovely horseback ride at LaJoie Stables. A lot of the village was closed due to covid, would have loved to explore. Missed out on gondola ride. Planning on returning next year.

Stowe Skiing

We had a wonderful time. Accommodations were excellent. The room was just as pictures showed. The kitchen was well equipped. The fireplace was so cozy. The bathroom was big and beautiful. The view of the mountain was picturesque. The Over Easy Gondola took us over to the mountain. The Lodge has everything and more. We had a massage. The Ski Valet was an extra touch. We loved it and will definitely be back next year.

Love the Stowe Mountain Lodge. Renting through here saved us money and gave us free parking. Absolutely excellent property management, and always the best location in Stowe. Definitely will be coming back!!

Great Spring Skiing Weekend

Just spent three nights at Stowebound for a spring skiing weekend. My girlfriend and I had been to Stowe before, but this was our first time staying at the Stowe Mountain Lodge, and we could not have been happier. The lodge is beautiful, the unit was clean, comfortable, and modern, and staff were always friendly. Best of all is the location. Equipment is stored in the complementary ski valet, and from there it's a very short walk to ski school, rentals, Spruce Mountain lifts, or the gondola to Mt Mansfield. Super easy. There's also a great new coffee shop that we hit every day for an after lunch Cortado. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Summer Getaway

We were looking for a fun filled getaway for a long week-end and this property met all of our expectations. The owner was accommodating and ensured we had the best services available to us during our stay. The staff at the resort were always friendly and eager to help. We were greeted with a smile at the valet parking and the receptionist at the front desk took pleasure in answering any of our questions. Our suite had a king bed and a pull-out sofa that our two boys (ages 8 and 5) slept on. We were impressed with the well equipped kitchenette in the suite which aloud us to enjoy some meals in our room. We also enjoyed drinking our coffee on the balcony over looking the beautiful Stowe mountain view. We were fortunate enough to have beautiful sunny days during our visit which we spent poolside, enjoying the magnificent outdoor heated pool and two poolside hot tubs. The boys also enjoyed playing shuffleboard and chess outdoors (on the over sized chess board located near the spa entrance). Other outdoor activities we enjoyed during our stay in Stowe included hiking and biking. We would not hesitate to return to this property to enjoy another beautiful stay in Stowe Vermont!

Spectacular Summer Vacation

After visiting Stowe for the last 20 years, we just spent the most wonderful week at Stowe Mountain Lodge for the first time. We found a rental on VRBO, and decided to try it. I would not hesitate recommending this unit and resort to anyone. The resort and amenities are first class, and the owner and rental agency were a pleasure to work with. We happened to experience great weather the entire week, and kept busy during the days, and then relaxed by the pool. Stowe Mountain Lodge is by far, the most upscale property, with great amenities and activities. We did get to play golf on the resort course, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The only hint I would share is if you're not a pro, bring plenty of balls. The view from the balcony of this unit of the mountain is great. At first, we thought being over the front entrance would be a negative, but we rather enjoyed watching the cars and folks driving up, as well as the mountain. The unit is impeccable. Beautiful decor, and like new condition. If there was any negative I could share, it's that the refrigerator is smaller than we would like, but we managed. We will definitely stay at this resort and in this unit again.

Pure Pleasure

We (a couple with a 4yo) really enjoyed our stay during winter 2013 and count the days until the first snow flake forms so we may return. This unit was everything we hoped for and more. The owner is wonderful and takes pride. The complex is just gorgeous. (the spas are delicious) Hadn't seen the full Stowe Mtn renovation until now. Wow, a lot of thought and comfort put into the whole design. Kid friendly while pampering/picturesque/romantic for the parents or couples. Stowe is great and our stay in this room made it superb. (many thanks for a memorable trip!!)
