Enjoy dinners with your family outside on the covered patio, or having smores around the firepit. Surrounded by trees and nature and adjacent to the biking trail. 10+

The home was so beautiful and spacious - nicely designed and a great layout for our get together. Communication with the host was fantastic, and the house had everything we needed. Rooms were HUGE and very cozy. Great spot!

Great host. Very responsive and helpful. The property is very new and well furnished. Would be better if the yard is prettied up and maybe add path to the pond/lake.

Honestly, it was the worst experience ever. As much as the pictures show this place is wonderful, it is actually the total opposite. The host was not capable of keeping the place clean at all. There were bug infestation all around the bedrooms. I left the property the same day I went. Please do not book or go to this cottage or house. I can write an essay about the things we saw and faced. I am leaving this review to protect you and your families from the spider bites and cold water in the taps.

Unresponsive Host, No Hot Water

No lockbox code was provided to us until 8pm, check in was at 4pm. Once we got inside the ground floor was flooded with rain. After mopping it all up we discovered there was no hot water in the property. The back shed was filled with garbage like a landfill. Also the cornhole game from the photos outside is not present, and much of the lawn from the photo has grown over with brush. After much persistence the host agreed to partially refund us for less than half of our 2 night stay.

We booked this property hoping for a peaceful getaway, but our experience was unfortunately far from what we expected.While the property is decent, the access to the water was completely blocked due to overgrown grass and weeds, which clearly hadn’t been maintained. This was disappointing since outdoor access was part of the appeal. The sleeping arrangements were also not as described. There are two bunkbeds with three levels each, but the space between the lower beds is extremely tight, definitely not suitable for adults.The biggest issue, however, occurred on the day we arrived. It was raining heavily, and the house was flooded with water. Water was coming in from multiple areas, and we had to spend the entire day mopping and trying to contain it. It was exhausting and stressful. I tried contacting the host multiple times, but they only responded by text after long delays, usually three to four hours later. No real help was offered.After sending them photos and videos showing the extent of the flooding, the host promised to refund the first night once they received the funds from the booking platform. However, once the money was released, they stopped responding and never followed through with the refund.Based on how everything was handled, I truly feel I was misled and taken advantage of. Being promised a resolution and then ignored was incredibly frustrating. This experience felt unpleasant, and I would not recommend this property or host.

Summer Staycation

The house was amazing and is beautifully designed. Its spacious and big enough to accomodate many people. Not too far from the city but far enough to feel like you are on vacation. A few cons...the property needs a proper clean.. under furniture, mopping and dusting. The exterior of the property is not well maintained so we couldnt enjoy it as much especially not at night with the amount of mosquitoes (the backyard backs into water with a marshy area). It could benefit from a pressure wash to remove all the spider webs covering the windows and outside furniture including the bedroom balconies. Although its a shame its being neglected, it really is a great house especially for large families. We enjoyed our stay :)

Excellent cottage for faimly retreat

We are a few families together. This cottage is very nice and big enough for a large group of family members. very accessible to water activities. Both parents and kids enjoyed the staying in the stylish and roomy cottage. Will come back next year for sure. Anne is very nice and responsiive. quick to respond our questions. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Property, But a Nightmare Stay – Unresponsive Host

I booked this cottage to celebrate my 30th birthday with close friends, and while the property itself is beautiful, our experience was incredibly disappointing and even dangerous.The driveway was unfinished and completely muddy, which ruined our cars and clothes.The AC wasn’t working during a heatwave (28C inside), and the host only responded on our last night, claiming she didn't believe us about the AC issue.No check-in instructions were provided. We were left waiting under the sun for 45 minutes until Vrbo support sent us the info—no help from the host.The grass was overgrown, making it impossible to enjoy outdoor amenities like the fire pit.Worst of all, one of my friends cut her foot on a piece of glass hidden in the long grass, and we had to take her to the hospital.The host was completely unresponsive and dismissive, and the overall lack of care made what should’ve been a special celebration into a stressful and unsafe experience. I do not recommend this property unless major changes are made to both the maintenance and the communication from the owner.

Winter Georgian Bay Get-A-way in Waubishine Ontario Ontario

Wonderful family get together for New Year’s Day dinner and 3 days and 2 nights!! Beautiful verbal home with a lovely winter weather snowfall and so very close to Mount St. Louis Moonstone ski Hill. It was quite lovely great communication with the host. Definitely recommend this lovely spot not so sure about summertime with the waterfront because it was ice and snow and frozen over.
