The duplex was nice. Clean, comfy bed, big bedrooms, and a nice outdoor space. The duplex needs finishing touches - hand rails on stairs, grout in some spots in the bathroom, hooks to hang things up in bathrooms, more bedroom storage, shower caddy, and removing stickers on doors and furniture, foam protectors in the fridge. These are the purchase stickers when someone buys an item and the items have label stickers (part A connects to part B). The decor wasn’t my style but everything was there to make a stay relaxing. As for repairs there was a nail sticking out of one of the stair treads. The host responded but it took 2 days to fix. I couldn’t get the downstairs TV to turn on. It ended up being the batteries but again it took two days to fix and that was after some back and forth conversations with the host. The kitchen was nice but lacked pots and pans so cooking was challenging. Location -The location was great for me because of where I was going everyday. It was central to every thing. There is a good bit of road noise and the neighborhood isn’t great. There were a lot of lawns that hadn’t been mowed and lots of old furniture and garbage sitting around. It didn’t feel safe for walking because there were no sidewalks. Overall, for a two week trip it served its purpose. I don’t know that I would stay there again mostly because of the neighborhood and lack of walkability.
