Ruime villa in een grote groene tuin met privé zwembad. Op loopafstand van winkel, restaurant en station van Mombaldone. 20 min met de auto van Acqui Terme en Rocco Verano. Perfect voor een grote familie of voor twee gezinnen. Vier slaapkamer, drie badkamers, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en bijkeuken, WIFI, speelgoed en games voor kinderen aanwezig. Honden zijn welkom, de tuin is volledig omheind. Regio: De Piemonte (betekent ‘aan de voetvan de berg’) is een paradijs voor fijnproevers. Hier komen de beste wijnen vandaan, maar ook delicatessen als hazelnoten, kazen, truffelsen speciale pastasoorten. De combinatie van steden zoals Turijn, Milaan en Genua, uitgestrekte heuvels waar je prachtig kan fietsen en wandelen en de stranden van Ligurië op 1 uur afstand, maken dit een ideale locatie voor een heerlijke vakantie!

We had a great stay in this nice, period house in Mombaldone. Lots of space inside and outside, with a nice pool area which was used a lot. The house/garden has lots of potential but could do with a little freshening up. Great communication with Madeline the owner.

Fantastic stay in Piedmonte

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house with lovely surroundings and a view to the mountains. We enjoyed the pool and the garden as well as the house. Perfect for a stay with children.

Fabulous holiday at this Brilliant Villa

The villa is well positioned for sightseeing and very spacious with a fabulous pool and pretty outside area. The views from the villa are spectacular with some lovely walks all around. Really enjoyed this holiday experience and look forward to going again in the not too distant future.

Wondefull villa in a good location

We had a wonderful family vacation. Plenty of room for our party of 4 grownups and 4 children. The villa is well equipped, has a large pool and a large property around the house for children to explore and play.

Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable

We very much enjoyed our short visit: Whether relaxing by the pool or exploring some of the local winery's. Definitely recommended for the garden and the adequate space for a group. We loved the local ladies in the little shop down the road...

Great house

Great house with lots of privacy. Spacious inside and outside. Kitchen well equiped for large group, large pool (although only 1 meter deep). Lovely cat as frequent visitor of the terrace.

Perfect Getaway

Set amongst the most stunning surroundings, Villa Mombaldone is the perfect getaway for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle. The Villa is decorated and equipped to the highest standard. After a day by the pool, a BBQ enjoyed under the gazebo is a wonderful way to take in the sights by night. A place where when our holiday was over our only regret was not staying for longer.

Relaxing on the Italian countryside

We spent a week in the house and can only give our best recommendations for anyone that wants a peaceful and quiet area. It’s close to Aqcui Terme (15-20 min with car), a little narrow and curved road up to Roccaverano with some good restaurants, 1 hour++ to cities like Asti, Alba, and Barolo (a must go if you are into wine). The house has a great outside area and a great pool. Volleyball in the pool was a success for both the teenagers and the adults. The house was clean and had all we needed for a pleasant stay.

A beautiful villa in stunning countryside

We had a lovely stay with our two sons and their girlfriends. The villa is a real home from home with everything you could wish for. The kitchen has every item you can think of and the welcome pack was very useful. My sons really enjoyed the selection of films and X Box and we all had great fun in the pool and the wonderful outside area. We would definitely recommend this villa for a peaceful and relaxing get away.

Lovely home from home

Myself and my boyfriends stay here was brilliant, the villa is in a beautiful location with amazing views! The villa was lovely, all the essentials were kindly there when we arrived which was a great help after travelling. The pool is great and has seats to relax around and enjoy the gorgeous garden. There are some brilliant restaurants nearby which are all in the really helpful book put together by Carole, which is full of nearby things to do and help with appliances etc around the house. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Lovely villa in a quiet setting. We enjoyed the large pool and the staff inside areas. It is a good base to explore a few places. We got the train to Turin and drove to surrounding areas during our stay. Carole was excellent with communication and came back to us very quickly if we had any questions.

Excellent stay in Mombaldone

We have had a great week staying in this beautiful house in Mombaldone. Carole was a great host, answering all our questions quickly from the day we made the reservation. The house was perfect for two families traveling with five small children, Carole prepared it well with high chairs and a baby cot. The outdoors with a beautiful swimming pool and spacious garden was a joy for the children (and adults) and the cool inside of the house was welcoming in the middle of the day! The house is also a great base for exploring Piemonte!

A beautifull, well equiped villa

The villa was a great hit. We enjoyed our two weeks stay enormously. The kitchen was well equiped, the bedrooms comfortable and cool (even in this tropical heat), the bathrooms clean and functionable. The garden was well maintained with a great swimming pool and a nice patio for 'al fresco' dining. The villa is well located with a lot of interesting villages and cities in easy reach. Next to the well known sites such as Astia and Alba, we can recommend a visit to Savona and to the seasiide resort of Noli. We certainly will recommend this property to our friends and family.

Incredible journey

We had an incredible stay!!!! The house is gorgeous, the garden is wide and allows many outdoors games. We combined visiting old typical villages (Mombaldone, Roccaverano, Ponti,...) and a very Nic walk threw the ancient city of Acqui Terme. The local people are very nice and helpful. We had great lunches and diners in the patio, and enjoyed great Italian meat on the barbecue. The house is amazingly quiet and comfortable. An unforgettable stay. Carole is a great owner, answering very fast to all our questions about the house.

Beautiful villa with an enormous, secure garden.

Thank you for the welcome pack it was much appreciated after our long journey. This is a beautiful ,spacious villa in a lovely quiet part of Piedmont. The garden is massive, our dog enjoyed chasing her tennis ball around it, early in the morning. The pool was very relaxing. The villa has a very well equipped kitchen. The fans were very welcome on a night, as it was so hot. The views of the sunrises and sunsets from the house were amazing.

The Beaumonts, England

The villa is beautiful and very well presented. The neighbours were lovely and extremely helpful, particularly when we had a puncture on one of our motorbikes and they helped introduce us to the village mechanic who lent us a spanner. We were also really impressed with the lady who runs the village bar who arranged a night at the lovely village restaurant where we had a fantastic meal. The couple who run the restaurant seemed to have opened up specially and cooked and served a really memorable meal. This is the nicest villa we have stayed in while in Italy and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Super equipped luxe villa. Best ever but a bit remote if you want to do many city trips

We really enjoyed our stay in this villa which offers you full privacy, luxury (nice BBQ, well equipped kitchen, modern design, good beds, very nice swimming pool, indoor living room with Xbox/DVDs/books/.. for the kids) and the feeling to be 100% in the nature although it is easily accessible by road. We and our kids loved it. A railway is nearby, so you notice a train passing by every now and then but this does not disturb the piece at all. As the highway is remote, it is not that obvious to make "quick" visits of Piemonte cities such as Genua, Milan, Alba.

Villa Mombaldone July 2016

Villa Mombaldone is a fantastic place to stay. The location, quietness, charm, the house itself (including the electronic equipment which makes it an ideal place for teenagers) and swimming pool are some of the assets which makes it a place we never experienced before. The description met our high expectations. the house was clean and well maintained and the very kind and accurate communciation with the owner makes that we provide for the first time a 5 star review. We highly recommend the culinary attractions (eg. wine at Nizza - 30 min drive through a great landscape, cycling - for more trained cyclists a super place to stay, but most of all taking a good break at the peaceful Villa Mombaldone.

Villa Mombaldone

We had a lovely week at Villa Mombaldone, the villa is situated in a very quiet location & the gardens were very well kept. The kids loved the pool (although it was a bit cold at times). The villa itself was clean, had big airy rooms & we loved the welcome pack that you did us with all the essentials in. You thought of everything & catered for everybody's needs. We loved having the bbq's & sitting outside, especially at night when it was nice & cool. Theres plenty of nice quality restaurants to visit & they serve fresh, authentic Italian menus. The supermarkets were good & had everything you needed in them. It was a home from home & we would love to have a return visit.

A great week in Piedmont

We had a wonderful week at the house. The home and the grounds were beautiful and spacious, very comfortable for our group of four adults and three teenagers. This is a quieter part of Piedmont than the area around Alba, but the scenery is beautiful and there are many little hill towns, including Mombaldone, a medieval walled village, which is just a mile or so from the house. We also went to Acqui Terme, just 30 minutes away, for dinner several times. But mostly, we just enjoyed the house and the pool and the lovely weather. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions about the house; they even helped us find a mechanic in town when we had a flat tire. Would love to return.
