Stunning Place!

A breathtaking property! Perfect for housing families. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were so helpful. We had the time of our life at this place! The property information can be a little misleading, you have to pay extra for access to all the rooms in the house. Double check with the host about minimum night stays because the info on VRBO might differ from their management rules.

Fun Gathering with friends

We are a group of friends that gathered for some milestone Birthdays. We had such a great time. We all were not sure when we were driven on a dusty dirt road to get to the house. But all was Beautiful when we arrived. Our maid service and Man for the house were so great!! Helpful & Kind All questions were answered promptly…. We had 18 people stay with loads of room. The weather was on the cool side … But the pool area kept us sheltered enough to still enjoy the warm sun. Great place for big group or family to enjoy for sure!!!

Excellent accommodations and staff on the beach

We were 7 couples in our 40s from Portland, OR, without our kids looking for a relaxing week away from it all. Del Fin delivered. The place is amazing. Better than the pictures. The 2 chefs were talented and accommodating. We were never hungry. The bartender did his best to keep up with our thirsty group. The maintenance person and cleaner were top notch. I highly recommend having groceries delivered ahead of time, a great value. Bernardo was there to greet us, show us the place when we arrived and available by phone at any time. The beach was a little challenging to get to as there has been some recent changes to the level of the sand (nothing the owners can do) and a ladder was placed to get to the beach. The amazing pool more than made up for this. It was perfect! Relaxing and fun at the same time. The place had everything we needed. Took a couple of drives to nearby towns and enjoyed them, vert quaint. The city of Mazatlan was not exactly our thing, but glad we went in for an adventure one afternoon. Our trip was a huge success mainly because the DelFin was so perfect!

Fabulous property!

Our family vacation was amazing at this beautiful property! The staff was super friendly and attentive. They take care to make your experience seamless from start to finish. We sent a list for grocery items which were ready when we arrived. The cooks made delicious meals and communicated daily to assure we would be happy with what they had planned. Choose their homemade beef enchilladas if you get a chance. The bartender was amazing making kid friendly drinks as well as those for adults. Everyone enjoyed the pool and slide. The older grandchildren also enjoyed body surfing in the ocean with parents while the little ones made sandcastles. This is a fabulous place for making family memories.

Absolutely perfect!

I had my 50th birthday here with 12 friends. There is a full staff on hand cooking, cleaning, bar tending all day looking after us. They were fantastic! When you book the communication is brilliant. They set up airport transfers and shopping to stock the house with food and drink prior to arrival. I would suggest you give them meal ideas and have them shop for you, the charge is minimal and worth it! They can also set up catering if you want something special. They also set up golfing and fishing for us. I will definitely come again!!

The greatest family reunion, we had so much fun. People at the house was very kind, it was amazing having some one cooking delicious food for us, and a barman serving all the drinks for the family. Vacation turns into one of the best experiences

we rented the house as a venue for our wedding, we really loved the place and the staff was amazing, they took care of us, and all our guests, we also rented the lot attached for the party and everybody was impressed for this hidden spot, we definitely will be back for another time with our family to enjoy this beautiful place that makes you feel at home. thank you Lori for taking care of it and we have no more than greetings for all the staff at the house.

Holiday El Delfin

We rented this location for two weeks in February for 13 of our family members. The villa is in a very private area that was quiet but easy to access any area of the city. The villa, was to our surprise the same as it was advertised the entire villa was excellent and it was well maintained. The daily staff was super and assisted us in anything and everything we needed while there. They also were very attentive to trying to communicate with us and we ended up not having any issue in this area. The management staff also bent over backward to make sure any issues we had in the villa were address as soon as possible. The pool was a great addition as it was used daily, and most of the day, by everyone in our party lots of laughs and fun. We would recommend this property to anyone that would like to spend quality time with the family and see the sites of Mazatlan. We completed 5 excursions and saw a lot of the city making this one of the better vacations we have had. We also met a ton of wonderful people in our travels around the area.

This was our best family vacation ever!

The property is well represented in pictures, etc, but when we arrived everything exceeded our expectations. The property is immaculately clean, and well maintained. The staff was excellent! We were picked up at the airport and taken to the house. We did a walkthrough with Samantha, who outlined everything we needed to know. And we had a number to reach her at if we had any questions. The house staff was wonderful - they were attentive and hospitable, and provided great service. The view of the ocean is amazing!. The property is built to take advantage of the spectacular sunsets. Although the ocean isn't really swimmable, the beach is great for walking and collecting seashells. I would highly recommend this property - we will definitely be back!

Puntos a Mejorar

Esta es la 2da ocasión que viajamos con Mazatlan4rent. La 1ra vez fuimos a su propiedad de Estrella del Mar y todo estuvo excelente, razón por la cual decidimos volver a viajar con ustedes. En este viaje (Hacienda el Delfin), la casa esta impresionante, muy amplia, cómoda, espacios adecuados, la alberca de muy buen tamaño, excelente ubicación, cocinas muy equipadas y personal de servicio incluido. Hay detalles a considerar: Tuvimos un incidente, que por suerte, no paso a mayores. Un contacto de pared que se encuentra en la barra de la alberca, el penúltimo día empezó a sacar chispas, a lo cual, pues fue muy alarmante porque había muchas personas dentro del agua (niños y adultos), el contacto no esta situado en un lugar seguro ni lejos del agua y no cuenta con alguna protección que lo aísle tampoco y al querer buscar un extintor para apagar las chispas del contacto, la casa no cuenta con ningún extintor, esto si es un tema muy delicado de seguridad que tienen que revisar. Por otro lado, solicitan un deposito inicial para consumo de energía de tu estancia y al final, revisan si te pasaste o no del consumo. Las preguntas son: como se establece el consumo de una casa de tal dimensión?, en base a que se hace? ya que las áreas comunes (sala tv, comedor, cocina) no cuentan con A/C y el calor es muy intenso, solo las recamaras lo tienen, hay abanicos de techo que no se pueden apagar o no cuentan con control y otros que no se pueden encender, a lo cual, pues el consumo no es controlado del todo por los inquilinos. Dentro de la casa, hay una oficina en la cual, entran y salen personas ajenas a las de servicio de la casa, esto es incomodo para los huéspedes también. Un día, tuvimos un detalle que andaban 4 técnicos sub-contratados para arreglar una televisión que no se veía el sistema de cable, esto causo mucha molestia sobre todo con las mujeres huéspedes y ni siquiera fuimos avisados previamente. El personal de la casa (cocineras, limpieza, barman y mantenimiento) personas muy amables y excelente servicio toda la semana, felicidades por eso. Espero puedan ver estos temas y considerarlos para mejorar el servicio y la estancia de los clientes, el precio que se paga por la renta de la casa no es nada barato y debería de incluir todo el servicio de energía sea cual sea (como en un hotel) así no se estezan los huéspedes de andar apagando luces o climas todo el día. La casa esta impresionante y excelente para grupos grandes, solo deben mejorar en estos puntos.

Amazing home & team! Thank you for everything!

I just returned from five amazing days with a group of 15 at the Del Fin Oceanfront Villa and I cannot THANK Lori, Lionne, Ray, Anjelica, Alejandra, and Andres enough for such an AMAZING time! The staff at Mazatlan4Rent helped my friends and I pull off an incredible surprise for our spouses. When booking the property, Lori was so kind to answer my one million questions about the house, the staff, the food and Mazatlan itself. She helped us book transfers, recommended restaurants & excursions, create a menu, and even grocery shopped for us. She also picked up birthday décor, cakes and little surprises to make the weekend extra special. The house is lovely — it’s a true oceanfront estate with breathtaking ocean views, especially during sunrise and sunset. Yes the pool is cold, but just like any cold — jump in and keep moving, you’ll get used to it plus it was pretty warm out so the cold water was a welcome break. The bedrooms are comfy and large, the living area is decorated beautifully and the large kitchen table was such a treat to have meals on with the amazing ocean views. We also loved the large kitchen counter where we learned how to make salsa, chilaquiles and some delicious pancakes from Anjelica and the rest of the staff! The house aside, the staff at Mazatlan4Rent is what made our trip to Mazatlan amazing! The fact that they took care of everything and catered to all of our requests was beyond amazing. My friends and I cannot wait to return to Mazatlan and stay with you again! Thank you Lori for giving us such great memories to cherish for years and years to come — you really made our trip perfect. Best Vacation Rental !!

We had the most fantastic vacation ever at the Delfin Estates house! Lori was the best and very helpful in setting everything up. Anjelica cooked the best meals everyday! The rest of the staff was excellent as well. It was everything we expected and more! Loved the pool and waterslide with the swim up bar! We are already planning our next visit :) Thanks so much!

The Royal Treatment

There are no words grandiose enough to describe our experience at the Delfin Estate. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were greeted with the utmost service. Ray drove us to the house and provided beverages along the way. He also gave us advice about where to go in Mazatlan. When we arrived at the house, we were overwhelmed by how beautiful and over-the-top everything was. From the large, beautiful pool and slide, to the gorgeous tile and grass patio overlooking the ocean for perfect sunset viewing. Most importantly, the staff. I have never received such incredible service. Jesus and Alejandra keep the place in tip-top shape. Angelica and Doris cook the most fabulous meals you could ever imagine. Jessi was the sweetest, most accommodating bartender you could ask for. This should be at the top of your list for your next vacation. We will all definitely be back. :) Thank you so much for the most incredible vacation of our lives!!!!

2016 Family Thanksgiving Vacation

If you are considering this home as your next vacation stop please take these few things under consideration. There is only 1 very small area where you can obtain WIFI. They provide 1 router that is located setting on a window ledge facing the swimming pool. You need to be standing right next to it to receive any WIFI connection, the road in which you need to drive on to get to this lovely resort is nothing but dirt, rocks and bumps MAKE SURE TO DRIVE A SPORTY VEHICLE! and if you happen to be as unlucky as we were to be greeted by Lori one of the managements personal please do not ask her for directions for she has no clue! she will also tell you that the elevator does not work and is in need of major repairs (Note to families with elders or small children). The home is older and it is in need of allot of general maintenance. All of the screen doors fall off when you slide to open them and some of them will even leave you standing there holding on to nothing but the handle as the screen falls to the ground. I can honestly say that the only reason that we didn't pack up and leave the resort was because we had spent all of our family's vacation 'savingS' on this home (we understand why they have such a strict no refund policy). When I called the owner of the management company to address some of these concerns it was very obvious that she didn't care. NONE OF THE BEDROOMS HAVE T.V'S!!!!!! NO WIFI NO T.V.'S AND YOU ARE FAR AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN. Hope that this information helps you understand exactly what you are spending your hard earned money on. Ohh and I was also informed by a different management employee Nohemi that this house is for sale. This little fact says allot as to why this house is not being properly maintained. GOOD LUCK

Excelente todo!!!

Una gran impresión nos llevamos, ya que la comodidad del la casa, el servicio y el estado de los cuartos fue inigualable. Si buscan algo extraordinario y privado, esta es la mejor opción. El apoyo de Noehmi es excelente, la cocineras tiene un sazón muy rico. En pocas palabras es 100% recomendable.

VIP treatment

If you want the full experience of a luxury vacation without breaking the bank, this is the property for you! I recently stayed here for 5 nights with 15 family members ranging in age from 2 years, to 75 years old and every single person in our group was amazed not only by the property itself, but with 5-star service provided by the staff and management! Whether it was Lori making sure all of the accommodations and attention to detail was taken care of, Angelica making us our favorite meals in the kitchen every day, or Raul making us every drink in the book while we relaxed by the pool, the staff was truly top notch! We were so impressed that we decided to make this our destination for our family trip we take every 2 years. the property is off the beaten path and truly feels like you have a private resort all to yourself. You cannot go wrong here and I would recommned this place to ANYONE who asks! cheers, Ramey Alonzo
