This home was extremely disappointing and not as advertised. The photos appear to be many years old, and the property is in serious disrepair. The pool deck was dirty on arrival—with food under the patio table and sharp gravel-like pieces everywhere—and the patio furniture was torn, worn out, and covered in spider webs. The fans, overhead kitchen shelf, and several areas of the home were visibly dirty, with tiny bugs on the counters and grease around the outlets, We contacted the host prior to booking to be sure the pool and spa would be heated. When we arrived, the pool was green and both the pool and spa were too cold to use. Despite following the instructions in the binder and then additional instructions from the host, the heat did not work until a technician arrived two days later. After working on the equipment (which involved some loud bangs), and turning on a breaker had been turned off, the spa warmed up, but even after that, but the jets couldn’t be used because the caps were broken and the air would water would pour out. The pool never reached the temperature that had been confirmed to us before booking and was too cold to use. A guest from March, 2023 had noted similar issues in the guest book in the house.A number of basic amenities were either broken or not maintained:• The microwave was broken when we arrived and was not replaced for 5½ days.
