Charming 1-bedroom house with AC, WiFi in Spirit Lake at The Venue at the Reed's
Located in Spirit Lake, enjoy what this 1-bedroom house has to offer. This delightful property features a cozy living room with two sofa beds, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bedroom boasts a comfortable queen bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep for guests. With amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine, your stay will be convenient and stress-free. Experience the magic of Spirit Lake at our charming house that is located at The Venue at the Reed's. We are kid friendly and have a giant playground. We also have 2 firepits with a shared outdoor bar that the owners and friends occasionally frequent. We love to share our space with others and want everyone to enjoy themselves!
Please note on occasion, since we are a working wedding venue, during the week we will sometimes be scheduled for tours of the grounds. The tour doesn't include the guest cabin (when we have vacationing guests) but will include the grounds around the guest cabin, so from time to time we will be giving a tour. Tours are sometimes scheduled out for weeks / months and cannot be rescheduled. Tours will never interfere in the guest cabin stay, however we just want to be fully transparent on individuals touring the grounds and that it is a possibility at any point.

Welcome! First and Foremost, we are a wedding venue and love to share our place! We pride ourselves on our "vacation rental atmosphere!" In the down time of hosting weddings, we are opening up our little home (or what we call the bride and groom's cabin) to the vacation rental world. Guests will love the peace and serenity of this place. When you get here you immediately feel at home. Which is what we wish for everyone! With hosting weddings, we have came to love sharing our place with others. Meeting new people and visiting around one of the 3 fire pits on the property we love to share a beverage and hear people's life stories! Us both being Idaho and Montana natives grew up In the trees and mountains spending time around campfires!

The Venue at the Reed's all began in 2004 when Rob and Tonya Reed purchased a piece of land just outside of Spirit Lake Idaho. At the time, the piece of land was one of the biggest eyesores on the Spirit Lake Cutoff Road. The land was littered with copious amounts of trash everywhere. The Reed's, including their two boys at the time in 2004, who were 11 and 4, had worked tireless hours that took over a month to clean up the property before they would show it to their friends and family. Years past, with many upgrades along the way all the while working jobs out side of the home.

The dream of the wedding venue started long ago, but finally came full circle!
In February of 2018, The Reed family lost their home in a fire that was caused by the dryer reciprocal, that ended up making them move into their half way finished shop. At the time of the fire, the concrete was not completed, nor was the insulation, and in the cold of winter the Reed's pushed through and made it work, with the help of friends and family so they would have a place to call home again. They fully now live in the shop and turned it into what they call "The Shouse" (Shop House) and will be forever grateful for those that helped lift them in the worst time of their lives.
The Reed's have persevered through many challenges along the way and always keep pushing forward to their dreams and long time goal of having a wedding venue. They've been great examples of dreaming and building and never giving up.
Their property has been the host of many occasions over the past 21 years, large and small and now they are excited to share it with others in the community. Sitting on 10 acres, this outdoor venue is surrounded with mature trees, luscious green grass and manicured landscaping. A park like setting is what most people say, and even has a large playground for the kids! The setting has a abundance of photo opportunities and gathering places, Including a stage area, and a outdoor bar famously known as "Reed's Relaxation Station."
We also have a couple rv spaces available if needed, and by email request.
We can say without a doubt that you will love your stay here in our little brides cabin!
