The home is located on German Lake. Great for fishing, boating, waterskiing, canoeing, water slide, yard games, camp fires, and nearby bike trails! You're welcome to bring your own watercraft.

Close proximity to Elysian, Mankato, St. Peter. Perfect for reunions, fun, family and friends!

We had a wonderful stay! Our host replied quickly when we had a question. The house was stocked with everything we needed and even had a Christmas Tree so we didn’t need to unbox ours that we brought along.

We were looking for a lake cabin with comfortable spaces inside, a good outside deck and a lake that allowed us to do some boating and fishing! Family Adventures was a great fit to do all those things!Kyle is a great host! He answered all our questions ahead of time and was very accommodating to our wishes, like bringing an extra 50# bag of pellets for the smoker. The fishing boat was awesome and very easy to operate! Plenty of room at the dock to bring our boat up and still fish or play right from the dock! Loved the large capacity washer and dryer, and the huge hot water heater. Yet, it still felt very cabiny! A great place!

Fun family times

Property was inviting with a beautiful view! It was clean and well cared for, but we did not find a home manual with ideas for the area or how to leave the house at check out. And the AC works fantastic!

The owner was quick to reply to inquiries and easy to work with. The kitchen was well stocked, including lots of different spices, and there was a variety of games that the kids enjoyed playing. There was a lot of spiders/webs in the basement. We bought some spider spray and sprayed the area to get rid of them.

Looked great on line, outside was a mess, completely out of character with nearby homes/cabins. Dishwasher did not work at all, supplies not in logical locations and not listed in the book with other details. There were a ton of flys, but no flyswatter! We had a great time on the water but outside/deck area and siding had a lot dead bugs and stains on siding, also had a ton of cobwebs and was not inviting.

Family Vacation

We had a great time and enjoyed being right in the lake. It was disappointing that some of the amenities listed didn’t match our experience (basement bedroom is a full, not a queen bed; no high chair; no kayak).

For the price I paid thought it could have been better kept up. Needs new windows and had ants a ton of spiders. Dishwasher was out but he did respond that he would come take a look at it the next day. Only stayed three nights just washed dishes by hand.

Relaxing southern Minnesota getaway!!

The house was clean, warm and exactly how it was described and Kyle the host was great at communicating and easy to work with. The fishing on German lake was great also!!

night away

We enjoyed a night away at the lake home. The deck and grille are great. Starlink is much quicker than our home internet. game room is nice. we would stay again.
