Excelente ubicación en Easton's Point, justo al lado de Tuckerman Avenue. Encantadora casa de campo ubicada en una calle tranquila a poca distancia de Easton's Beach, 2nd Beach, numerosos restaurantes y el pintoresco Cliff Walk de Newport. A poca distancia en coche del centro de Newport, varias mansiones históricas y la avenida Bellevue.

Esta cabaña estilo estudio está ubicada en un vecindario tranquilo y residencial adyacente a una vivienda ocupada por el propietario. Es ideal para una persona soltera, pareja o familia pequeña (máx. 1 niño mayor) que viene a disfrutar de unas vacaciones relajantes en el área de Newport.

Joan was attentive and genuinely helpful. Marty also greeted us warmly. What stood out most was Joan’s graciousness throughout our stay, from the thoughtful details in the cottage to her kind assistance during and afterward—truly the mark of a host who goes the extra mile. The cottage sits kitty‑corner to the main house with a small patio space outside. From the patio, there is a view into the main house, but Joan was very thoughtful about drawing her shades whenever we were out, offering us an added sense of privacy. Inside, the space is comfortable and functional. The electric skylight helps with cooling and with gas stove top venting, which we found useful to also refresh the space. The bathroom is nicely appointed and quite compact, accommodating one person at a time. The large closet with the ceiling-to-wall mirrors adds to the sense of spaciousness.The kitchen is well-suited for quick breakfasts and light meals, although we did more. Both beds were comfortable, without sags. The loft bed is set directly on the floor, accessed by very sturdy steps (not stairs but also not a ladder) with solid handrails that help one duck into the loft space. The ceiling fan seemed close when descending, but it never caused trouble; we preferred having the fan off during descent. Helpful additional photos: loft bed itself, view from top of railed steps downward to show fan and kitchen and apex, interior of second door with railed steps in front, new grill, bathroom.

This cottage is perfect for a single person or a couple looking to be close to Newport but in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. It is a short walk to 1st beach and a few restaurants and shops and a 10 minute drive to downtown Newport. Joan is lovely and very accommodating. I will definitely be back!

Newport Folk Fest

This space was absolutely perfect for two dad- aged guys. Joan made the check in process seamless, and was proactively communicating prior to arrival to make sure we were on the same page. I was greeted by Marty upon arrival, a delightful and friendly cat who had coffee with me in the morning. The cottage was clean, had dishes, a full fridge, and a gas stove. There was also a Kurig for coffee with plenty of pods. We are quiet people and appreciated the quiet neighborhood, but the beach and cliff walk are a five minute walk from the stay.

Wonderful!

We had the good fortune to stay in this charming cottage while we were in Middletown for a family wedding. From the booking process till checkout, the experience was excellent. Joan and Tony were warm and gracious and shared fascinating stories about the property’s history. The unit itself is fantastic! Immaculate. comfortable, and quiet are only three of the adjectives that describe this slice of paradise. We hope to return some day. Thank you both for sharing your space with us!

The cottage is definitely cozy! The loft space is only for the young and nimble, but for two people, the ground level is totally sufficient. The one thing I would have liked is an indoor eating table. There is an outside patio table, but it was too chilly and windy to use it for eating. We used the narrow, low coffee table instead. It worked. We stayed for 10 days.

This was such a cozy place to stay! Much closer to Newport than we realized, which was great! Very walkable and plenty to do in the area. One of those places you’d want to visit again. Joan was an attentive host!

Perfect Middletown Cottage!

This cottage was just what I needed for a quiet 3-day getaway. Tucked in a peaceful residential area near the beaches and close to Sachuest Point, it offered a great mix of comfort and location. The space was clean, cozy, and had a welcoming feel. What stood out most was how thoughtful the owner was (water in fridge and coffee pods ready for the next morning) and checking in to make sure everything was going well, which really added a personal touch. It’s a perfect spot to recharge and to be so close and convenient to all that Newport and Middletown have to offer. I look forward to staying stay here again!!

Quiet, close, and CHARMING

Property is exactly as it appears on the vrbo site. Joan was so easy and a delight, she thought of everything in this adorable studio. Clean, comfortable, quiet neighborhood-easy access to downtown Newport. Lovely beaches to explore close by. It was just outstanding!! Wonderful stay

We stayed in this cozy cottage for three nights to attend our nieces wedding. It is close to all the Newport activities. It was so nice to come back to a clean, comfortable, quiet home every day! The host that we met was such a lovely lady. We’ll have to come back to Middletown and stay in this cottage more often in the future!

I highly recommend staying here! It’s clean, easy to check in/out and the host is friendly & helpful. The cottage is located minutes from the beach and is a short drive to all that Newport has to offer.

What a delightful charming, Cottage. Location was Phenomenal. I felt like I was a fairytale such a Quaint ,cute Cottage Not to mention it was immaculate. Everything looks brand new and sparkling. A corner of paradise

My husband and I stayed for a week in this cozy cottage. Joan was welcoming and helpful in every way, the interior is pleasantly decorated and very well maintained, as is the rest of the property. The kitchen had enough pots and utensils to cook basic meals every day. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were even ironed, better than most hotels or rentals, and the rate is more convenient.The bed in the loft is more suitable for a young person, because there is no room to stand up. The side door leads to a beautifully landscaped area with garden table and chairs, there's also a BBQ grill. The neighborhood is a summer vacation postcard. Overall, great stay.

Quiet Cottage in Lovely Neighborhood

The cottage was perfect for our needs - a college roommate was joining me for a portion of the stay and having two separate sleeping areas worked very well. The kitchen was great for a quick morning breakfast. Beds were comfortable and the cottage was well-appointed. Loved the little patio off the side with a little view of the water. Location is excellent as we were able to take a walk along the water and up to Flo's Clam Shack, Bottega Bocconi cafe, Rejects Beer Co. taproom, and Diego's Cantina all on Aquidneck Ave. Downtown Newport is a 5-7 minute drive away, making this a great spot away from the crowds during the busy season. Joan was a great host, checking in from time to time to ensure we had what we needed. Would be perfect for a couple or even a family of 3.
