Valinor is a beautiful, designer-owned home located on the quiet West End 250 yards to the beach. The tranquil neighborhood is situated between 2 lakes, and a 2 minute walk on the private, deeded path will lead you to a natural beach with excellent shelling and beautiful sunsets.
The main house features 3 beds and 2 baths: the master bedroom has a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and large walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and bedroom 3 is a cozy bunkroom with a set of twin bunks. The home also features a separate studio that can be rented in addition to the main house which includes a double bed, a full-size futon, full bathroom, and kitchenette with refrigerator, induction cooktop, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster.
Whatever your interests may be, Sanibel has something to offer. In addition to its world famous shelling beaches, there are 22 miles of paved bike trails, numerous nature hikes, and some of the best fishing in the U.S. For the birdwatchers, The J. N. 'Ding' Darling National Wildlife Refuge offers a spectacular array of birdlife, as well as manatees, alligators, and other wildlife.
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED ON THE PROPERTY. STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Truly a beach house paradise

A designer beach theme and recent renovations and up-dates give this home an elegant look and feel, including white shiplap walls, gorgeous floors, the latest appliances, a completely new kitchen with beautiful counters, expertly renovated bathrooms, up-to-date decor and artwork. We enjoyed the lovely master bedroom, with separate sitting area and attached brand-new tiled bathroom. The double-opening sliding glass doors give the place a tree-house feel. Out of every window is a view of lush foliage. The open living room, kitchen, and eating area and vaulted ceilings give a spacious feel. Overall, this was a dream beach house for us and we hope to return again and again!

Peaceful and Relaxing!

First off, I would definitely stay here again! My family and I had a wonderful time here. It is located a short walk from the beach. Many places to relax and cool off; my favorite was the covered lanai. It was one of the smoothest rental arrangements I have ever had. Fast wifi, lots of bikes to explore the island, fully stocked kitchen, modern updates, comfortable furniture, friendly neighbors - We hope to visit again soon!

Home Away From Home

This house was a beautiful place to stay with my family. The house has everything that I like about my actual home -- it's living area is very open and has plenty of natural lighting. The kitchen is absolutely splendid with an island and all of the appliances we needed, plus it opens up into the family room so we were able to cook and hangout with each other all at the same time. We took full advantage of the beach access and used the bikes (for all 6 of us) to bike around Sanibel. The street the house is on is quiet and calm with friendly neighbors that we met on our walks to the beach. The house also has a screened in back porch area perfect for eating lunch or reading a book. My family had a wonderful time and will hope to rent this house again!

Beautiful, quiet spot

We stayed here at the end of September. Beautiful, quiet spot. Very clean and comfortable home. Tasteful, simple decor in the home with open layout. Short walk to the beach. Short drive to restaurants and shops. Covered parking spot. Very accommodating hosts. We recommend taking a kayak tour at Tarpon Bay. We had a fantastic time!

Clean and Comfortable

I stayed at this lovely home with my family in November. The layout of the home is wonderful. It has a spacious kitchen and family room where we hung out together. There is also a screened in breezeway which is a nice reading spot. It is a close walk to the beach and we saw dolphins every morning.The hosts had bikes for us to use to explore the island. I would recommend riding to Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge to see all the amazing birds. (You will need cash to get in and they are closed on Fridays).

Great find on Sanibel!

We stayed at this lovely Florida home in February of this year. It was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The beach access was very close and only took a few minutes to walk there. The beds were comfortable and lovely views from all the windows. Highly recommend!

Pottery Barn Charm

This beach gem has been lovingly renovated with an excellent eye for detail and style. The white shiplap throughout the home lends an updated New England charm. Kitchen and bathrooms are brand new, spotlessly clean. The open feel in the kitchen/dining/living area gives an open, spacious feel. Lush vegetation surrounds the house and can be seen out each window, giving the house a tree-house feel. The main living area opens to a lovely screened in porch with new patio set. Double-opening sliding glass doors open from both the master and the living area into screened in porch. There is a lovely private trail for the short walk to the beach. We will definitely return to this unusually beautiful and well-maintained beach home. A real find!

Rest and relaxation!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay! The house was bright, clean, and updated. We walked a few minutes to the beach everyday. We will come back for sure!
