Relax in this 5-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom farmhouse located in Old Concho. This beautiful property boasts 2 queen beds, 2 king beds, and 6 twin beds, perfect for a tranquil getaway. Amenities include washing machine/dryer, WiFi, AC, large, fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, 46in HD smart TV, DVD player and much, much more. Experience our spacious, modern farmhouse, located in Old Concho, a historic settlement in Arizona High desert. Wander the fields and hills, watching for hawks and the occasional owl. Climb to the ridge top for beautiful views of the valley. Convenient access to Petrified Forest National Park and historic Route 66 with Sunrise Park Resort, Arizona's premier skiing destination, is just over an hour away.
The Space
The farmhouse, originally built in the 1970's, has been added onto several times, and is newly redecorated throughout in a homey, mid-century modern eclectic style. Share meals in the large kitchen, hang out in the cozy family room, and sleep in comfortable beds. Each room is decorated in a unique style, making them fun, comfy spaces both day and night. We have chosen good quality mattresses to help you sleep your best.
Please be aware that this is a farm property in a rural setting. The home is surrounded by fields and pastures. If you plan to roam the property, you might want hiking shoes or boots. The driveways are gravel, and the house is rather plain from the front. However, we have put a lot of work into making the interior of the home beautiful, comfortable and inviting.
The entire house will be accessible to you, except for the owners' suite, which has a separate entrance from the main part of the house. The out buildings are part of the working farm, and are not accessible to guests.
You are welcome to visit the chickens and ducks behind the house. They like kitchen scraps and you are welcome to feed them anything you will eat.
