The good: This was a great place to stay, unlike many neighborhoods in east bay, it felt extremely safe. The loft is nice and spacious, bathroom could use an upgrade though, but that's apparent in the photos. The bad: While the place is structurally as pictured, the decor is a catfish. I would ask the host for up to date pictures so you know exactly how it'll look. The photos provided are clearly staged. The place looks nothing like that, no decor, no paintings, no extra seating, no dining room table. For instance, the living room is literally bare bones with a couch, coffee table, tv stand. No extra seating as pictured, no paintings, no dining room table. This shouldn't even be allowed. This made it extremely uncomfortable to stay for a month. I took a video of the place, will try to add still pictures, the place looks NOTHING like what's pictured. After I booked the host messaged me to say the dining room table wasn't there, but didn't mention all the decor was gone. This is purposely deceitful. Even the paintings in the bathroom weren't there. In addition, check in process is super complicated. There's about 30 lock boxes on a gate and you're supposed to walk through grass and bushes to figure out which one is the right now w/ no easy to spot identifier. And it's tricky to get to the apartment from the front, which wasn't called out.
