Colorado Bear Creek Cabins is owned and operated by the Hoelscher family (Susan, Rob, Oliver, & Sam). Our cabins were originally developed in 1947 as the Davidson Lodge. Our family purchased the cabins in 2016, with the goal of keeping the original spirit of the classic Colorado cabin, while continuing to improve the properties’ amenities and infrastructure. We run our business in alignment with our personal values. We are committed to excellence in all aspects of our operations, demonstrated through our customer service, our adoption of sustainable business practices, and our continuous improvement to our property. By doing so, each and every one of our guests checks into a clean, well-equipped, cozy Colorado cabin right along the bank of Bear Creek. Additionally, our sustainable business practices contribute to the conservation of the natural resources that bless the Evergreen community. Our Colorado cabins are conveniently located 1 mile outside of downtown Evergreen, Colorado and 30 miles from Denver, Colorado. Our Colorado cabin rentals are also located within a few miles of popular event venues, such as Red Rocks Amphitheater, Evergreen Lake House, the Red Barn, the Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park, and the Dunafon Castle to name a few. There are plenty of delicious restaurants, pubs, wineries, breweries, shops, and music for you to enjoy. Evergreen Lake also boasts a variety of seasonal activities, such as fishing, paddle boarding, walking trails, ice skating, ice fishing, and wildlife viewing.

Our Colorado cabin rentals are nestled in the Rocky Mountains situated right along the bank of Bear Creek. The property consists of 4 Duplex Cabins (for a total of 8 individual cabin units), 1 Mountain Home Cabin, and 1 Log Home Cabin, all of which are equipped with full kitchens, fireplaces, WiFi, coffee, and flat screen televisions with access to cable and streaming services. Additionally, our cabins in Denver Colorado have a beautiful outside area with lounge chairs, picnic tables, and BBQ grills within 20 feet of Bear Creek. If you are visiting for a wedding, a Red Rocks concert, or to simply enjoy the outdoors, our Colorado cabins provide access to all of the activities to enjoy in the surrounding area.
