Location is great. Nice neighborhood. Parking was ok. The host was responsive. Easy check in. Only items that were an issue is the heat is on 24/7 and ac units in home barely work bedroom ac unit stopped working in middle of night and woke up sweating home has good heat though lol. Plastic bag over windows and bathroom window not working just esthetic items but would be nice. Other than that served its purpose to sleep.

The host did not respond well when asking questions regarding necessities. The heater was on the whole time and made the whole place unbearably hot (84 degrees even at night). We were all overheating and feeling dizzy and sick because of this. When I asked for the host to help they did not. There were also bugs everywhere even though we kept food put away and the space clean.

It was very nice and clean. The heat however is connected to the downstairs tenant or something, the heat blasted during most of the stay.

The rooms where very basic ok.. no table or night stand to place items.. THERE WERE NO TOWELS or washcloths!!ll. I literally had to go and purchase 3 towels and washcloth despite it being listed. No microwave ( that’s was not listed but it’s an inconvenience). There were roaches!!! I was seriously worried because when there is one there is more and sure enough every night we came back to bugs in the kitchen, and we were careful not to leave any food items out. Screen in window needs replacing to help with poor ventilation in bathroom. It carried a mold like smell from when we arrived.

This property was not as depicted and was in unacceptable condition despite the 150 cleaning fee.Bathroom: The tub was peeling and discolored, hidden under a mold-riddled bath mat that I had to remove. The ceiling vent was filthy, and there was even a hole in the bathroom screen.Kitchen: The kitchen was infested with roaches crawling across the counters and appliances.Bedrooms: There was no furniture to store belongings, leaving the floor as the only option. With the roach infestation, this raised serious concerns about taking pests home with us.General: The blinds were filthy and broken, the baseboards were caked with dirt and debris, and the air conditioning units had visible buildup on the filters. There was also exposed piping, which is a building code violation and a major safety concern.When I contacted the owner, I was told the vents were “cleaned monthly” and simply weren’t due for another week. A cleaner was sent, but only the bathtub was wiped down—no effort was made to address the peeling tub, the infestation, the exposed piping, or the general filth. No remediation was offered for the overall deplorable state of the property. We left early the next morning well before checkout. I would not recommend this rental to anyone.

It was nice I wish the rooms have tv or all the rooms have mirrors, but it was nice. Nice quiet area not bothered by anyone

Research area prior to trip

The property was not what we had expected, concerned about safety after arriving to the home. Messaged host and denied a refund, offered to pay a night, denied. Recently offered to pay half and denied refund.

Jamaica stay

The property was clean and the interior as described. The location marketed was about 20 minutes further out making it inconvenient from train access. We made it work but had to utilize Uber and it became costly. I would suggest a few things such as pot holders to remove items from the oven, additional linens and face clothes. Also electrical outlets in one bedroom and the bathroom did not work. The neighbors did play loud music late at night until the early morning hours making it difficult to sleep when we had early flights. Overall, not a bad apartment and it was clean.

Friend Excursion

The property, while a bit small, was more than enough to host a wonderful Friendsgiving excursion. ACs and towels were in every room, and the living room provided a good place to hang around and catch up with friends. The only real concern was the oven being a bit slow to heat up, but apart from that, the property was great, the host was helpful, and I would book again.
