Hi Everyone, I am Gai. I was born in Thamlod village and have lived here all of my life (34 years). I have been working with tourists as a local guide since I was 15 years old. Taking care of and providing information to tourists gradually became a part of my life. And I fell in love without realizing it. I built my own house in 2024 and my wife and I decided to turn our house into a home-stay. That we will be able to take care of and tell various stories about this village and district to tourists. My wife also cooks the delicious local food for people who want to try it.

This area has a very beautiful landscape and has limestone mountains around. There are more than 200 caves around; one of them is a huge cave that is about 3.5 km inside and takes all day to explore. Another cave that is easy to visit and very close to our house is ThamLod Cave. This one, which you can visit by bamboo rafting, is 800 meters long and takes one and a half hours to reach.
In the winter season, you can see the beautiful sunrise at the top of the mountain, just a 10-minute drive from GJ Tour.
If you would like to see around this area, you can do the Pangmapha Loop (one-day sighting) to visit the hill tribe villages such as Karen, Lahu, Lisu, and PaO by scooter or car.
And also, you can trek through the beautiful jungle here with the local guide or by yourself.

My house is located in Tham Lot Village. Surrounded by mountains and quiet. If you want to relax with nature away from the crowds and other tourists, learn about the way of life of the villagers here (Shan). We highly recommend you to stay with us because we only have 2 rooms. We also offer hiking, caving and sightseeing activities.
