Great stay and great location

Wonderful area with access to sights and easy access to shopping and restaurants. There were a few minor items needing fixing but nothing that compromised our enjoyable stay. The amenities at the complex (gym, hot tub, heated pools) area great. Arrive during the daytime as the complex is large and on both sides of the road. I would stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: This location cannot be beat- awesome views of the Catalinas from inside the unit (even when lying in bed in primary bedroom!) and the balcony views are breathtaking. Condo had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very quiet inside and outside the unit. My only suggestion would be to update the bath linens. Spectrum was again awesome to work with, very attentive and great follow-up.

Our First time in Tucson

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were happy with our first visit to Tucson and this was made possible because of our guided tours with Michael of Reisen Arizona Day Tours.We were disappointed with the condition of the condo that we rented. The inside did not live up to the description that was presented online.The location and the view from the balcony were great. When we arrived the garbage disposal and the ice machine in the refrigerator did not work.There was a bowl beneath the kitchen sink so this problem was known and also a bowl beneath the guest bedroom sink. We bought ice trays as the fridge could not be repaired. We also did not think the place was cleaned properly and the whole condo should be updated. Shower heads were partially functional rugs old and it was not a wood floor. We paid more money than we thought the place was worth. The garbage disposal was repaired and the staff at Spectrum were helpful and gave us plenty of laundry detergent and dish soap.

Thanks to Delta Airlines we never made it

Enjoyed Another Stay

We like being close to a grocery store, drug store and many restaurants.Jeanine and the Spectrum staff are very helpful and professional.We did suggest a few improvements to the unit for our winter stay next year. The improvements include adding a comfortable chair in the living room, a fix to allow easy opening of the microwave door, new screens on the windows and upgrade to the dinnerware. Overall, the unit meets our needs.

Fourth Year at the Greens

The mountain viiews, wildlife and proximity to Sabino canyon make this location perfect.The condo was comfortable and met our needs. We would suggest the master bedroom carpet be replaced or at the very least deep cleaned.We greatly appreciate the Spectrum staff, especially Jeanine. Any needed maintenance or questions were promptly and professionally addressed.We look forward to another stay next year!

Linens were very nice and decor was very nice with touches of Arizona throughout. Very close to national parks and golf course. The view from our condo was gorgeous! The management company was extremely prompt on getting us the supplies we ran out of. Loved the assigned covered parking spot.

Not so good.

Reviewer Comments: This is not a negative review of Spectrum who were as usual very good and advertise, clean and manage condo on behalf of owners, but of the condo itself.We were spoilt las year with the condo we had in the north section so walking into this one was a major disappointment.It's just bare bones, yes kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels, bedding but none of the small touches that make guests feel welcome. No small personal collection of reading books, board games, pack of cards, not even box of tissues, pen and paper or an essential first aid kit! Furniture battered round the edges. No cleaning materials apart from dish detergent, tin of scouring powder and jumbo bottle of white cleaning vinegar. Brooms and mop had seen better days! We only used the shower in the main bedroom once as found it far too narrow plus shower controls very awkward and too loose to use. Needs major overhaul. Found bed too hard - rigid - and pillows too old making for sleepless nights. It was 2 singles pushed together with a foam ridge down the centre making a king size which proved to be rather hot. Same beds for 2nd bedroom too. Only 1 hairdryer between 2 bedrooms. Did'nt care for the 2 spare dining chairs in the main bedroom either. Light in bedroom fan didn't work nor the radio/alarm on the clock. This was wired so that when the light was switched off at the wall the clock went off as well. 3 light bulbs popped in 1 week. A/C very noisy and vibrated through floor. Owners personal items on floor in walk in cupboard in second bedroom with a please don't use poster on. Thank heavens we were only there one week. We did'nt bother informing spectrum of the things we picked up on as thought it would be too time consuming to put right during our 1 week stay. We would return to Greens as views and location outstanding but not to this condo. Cannot recommend.

The condo was spacious and in wonderful condition and the location was perfect. We had a beautiful view of the Catalina Mountains and enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails sitting on the balcony. Jeanine Bradley of Spectrum Real Estate was very helpful and professional. We're looking forward to our next visit to Tucson and hope to stay at the Greens at Ventana Canyon.

Bird watcher paradise

Reviewer Comments: The condo is comfortable, furnishings are good, great view,but too cold to sit outside in December.Watched the full moon rise over the Catalina Mountains. Very convenient location for hiking, stores, gas and restaurants close by. Used the bird feeders, that was fun. The supplies were really stingy for a weekly vacation rental. Three garbage bags provided for a two week stay. Had to buy them and dish and laundry soap, toilet paper--there wasn't even salt!I'm used to things like that being sufficiently provided. But the dishes and kitchen ware were good. Overall, a nice place and location.
