🐕🦺PET POLICY🐕🦺
We are pleased to offer dog-friendly accommodations under specific conditions. A $150 per stay pet fee applies and must be collected in advance of your stay. This fee allows for 1 dog, less than 60 lbs.. As a guest of a Lakeside Escape, you agree to adhere to the following policies.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Therefore, all pets must be crated overnight and crated when left unattended for any amount of time. Please contact Host to arrange pet crate rental if needed.
• Your pet must be leashed at all times when outside on the property. All waste must be picked up and disposed of. No aggressive dogs are allowed on the property.
o Guests will use either the rental yard or the road outside to walk the dog to urinate and defecate. Guests will not let their dog relieve itself in the neighbors’ yards.
• The dog must be flea and tick free and current on prevention treatment.
• As responsible pet owners, Guests agree to accept full and complete
responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the dog or suffered by any person during Guests’ stay at Lakeside Escape.
• Guests understand that they will be charged accordingly for the repair of any damages, additional cleaning requirements, or flea treatment caused by dog’s
presence or behavior. If there is evidence of non-compliance with the policies stated above, penalty fees will apply. Common examples of non-compliance and corresponding penalty fees are listed below.
o $70 Evidence of pet on bedding or furniture (excessive pet hair)
o $200 Evidence of pet within a lodging that is not pet friendly or failure
to add your pet to your reservation
o $70-$500+ Damages to lodging, furnishings, equipment, etc. that must undergo cleaning or replacement. (ex. chewed door frames, soiled bed sheets, excessive pet hair on bedding or furnishings). We realize that accidents happen so please contact the Host immediately if a situation arises and damages occur.

9. Pets - One dog weighing 60lbs or less is permitted. Additional rules are included in our `Pet Policy` see below.
10. Guest Limit - 10 people
11. Report any damage to Host Prior to departure.

PET POLICY
1) Guests are permitted to bring no more than 1 dog (total) weighing 60 pounds or less, unless the Host agrees in advance. There is an additional fee added to the stay for any guests bringing their dogs. This fee does not apply to `Registered Service Animals`.
2) The dog must be healthy and up to date on rabies (required every 3 years) and DHPP (vaccines for Distemper, Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Parainfluenza and Parvovirus).
3) The dog must be flea and tick free and current on prevention treatment.
4) Guests will not leave the dog unattended at the home. If dog is unattended, it must be within a kennel or crate.
5) The dog is prohibited from being on furniture unless covered with a provided blanket. Any signs of the dog on furniture without a blanket or proper cover will incur a cleaning fee.
6) The dog is prohibited from being on the guest beds at any time. Evidence of any dog soiling/damage on bed or bedding may incur extra cleaning or replacement fees. Additionally, the dog must also be clean (free of mud, dirt, etc.) before entering the home.
7) Guests will use either the rental yard or the road outside to walk the dog and allow to urinate and defecate. Guests will not let their dog(s) relieve itself in the neighbors’ yards. All solid waste must be bagged and put into trash.
8) As responsible pet owners, Guests agree to accept full and complete responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by their dog or suffered by any person during Guests’ stay.
9) Guests understand that they will be charge accordingly for the repair of any damages, additional cleaning requirements, or flea treatment caused by dogs` presence or behavior.
