Summary:
Welcome to our newly updated 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath coastal beauty w/beautiful views of the South River! Situated in a quiet neighborhood within 45 minutes of DC & 15 minutes from Annapolis & the Naval Academy, our home has everything you need to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. Our home boasts of beautiful natural light and water views throughout the home. The 3 seasons porch and large front yard provide additional spaces for entertaining.

The Space:
Our newly updated 4-bedroom home is designed with spacious living and effortless entertaining in mind. Step inside to find expansive rooms filled with natural light, including an open-plan living and dining area perfect for gatherings. The gourmet kitchen boasts modern appliances and flows seamlessly to both indoor and outdoor entertainment areas. Outside, a large patio and landscaped yard make it easy to relax or host guests, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the water.


Where you will sleep:

Each bedroom offers comfort and privacy.
The first floor bedroom features a master suite that has it's own wet bar and sitting area that comes with a day bed for seating or to accommodate two extra guests.

On the second floor you will find three additional bedrooms. Bedroom 1 comes with a queen size bed.

Bedroom 2 comes with two single beds and plenty of space to stretch out.

Bedroom 3 is a second floor master suite with its own private deck, for you to sit out and watch the sunsets or have your morning cup of coffee. This bedroom provides a luxurious retreat with water views.

Guest Access:
During your stay, you and your guests will have exclusive access to all areas of the property. Please exercise caution near the water.

The community beach is for residents only. Please do not park vehicles in the community beach parking area.

Other Things to Note:
Keep noise to a minimum between 10:00pm and 8:00am. This is to help us maintain the peaceful atmosphere for all of the guests at the property and a peaceful presence within the neighborhood.

Interaction with Guests:
I am available via Airbnb message or via call and text to assist you with any questions.

The house was very spacious. It's an ideal home to entertain family. Very child friendly.It's in a peaceful location, across from the Water.Two cars can fit easily in the driveway with more space across the road.

what a special place! we were a group of 10 and found the house perfect for dinners, chatting around the outdoor fire and wonderful, comfy beds. The view from the house is beautiful! The kitchen could use a dish rack and a few more sharp knives, but that was just a small issue.

Had a great reunion here with family for my 80th birthday. The layout was perfect so that everyone was comfortable. The kayaks pictured were really not available as they were locked up, however, we brought paddleboards to enjoy at the beach and there's a nice playset for the younger ones. The kitchen is well-supplied for cooking and eating in. The views from the house are great!

Not Happy

We would not stay here again. One of the bathrooms (second floor hallway) didn't have sufficient hot water, the TV in the kitchen didn't have any wires to plug it in, the TV in the living room was on the small side, and perhaps most unsettling was the refrigerator in the kitchen did not work. The freezer was working, but not the upper refrigerator section. I reached out to the property management company, PMI Annapolis, via email 3 separate times over our stay and never received a response. Several days after our stay was over I finally heard from PMI Annapolis. They were very apologetic and offered a refund of one nights stay. However, when I received the refund it was less than the cost of one night. I again called and emailed PMI about the shortage but have yet to hear back from them. Not impressed.

Spacious and family friendly!

This was the perfect house for a family vacation! The house has a twin bedroom with trendle beds, a kids table and chairs, play tent, kids books and toys! They also had a pack and play, high chair and a lot of kids plates/cups/utensils. It was great! There are two masters, and the one downstairs has its own wet bar, sitting room and screened in porch (great for multiple families or traveling with the in-laws). We also loved that the house was right on the beach, a few steps from a very nice, new playground. The neighborhood itself was also full of young families. Would definitely go back if in the area! Thank you!

Magnifique maison pour un séjour en famille

Très belle maison idéale pour passer du temps en famille ou entre amis.Maison très bien équipée avec un minimum de choses notamment dans la cuisine (sel, poivre, épices,...). Cela est très appréciable quand on est là que pour quelques jours et que l'on est venu par avion

The Shelby on the Bay house was wonderful! Of all the homes I've rented on VRBO, this may have been the cleanest home I've walked into! The view of the water from the front porch and front rooms and upstairs primary bedroom was terrific! It is a large house, and would host a large group of people beautifully! I only stayed in one bedroom, but I can say that bed in the upstairs primary bedroom is very comforable! The MOST positive comment I can make is about the host, Danielle. I had an unexpected very serious family emergency early into my stay, and ended up having to leave the home after the first weekend. Danielle was SO understanding and accommodating regarding my personal emergency. I am so grateful that she was willing to work with me on the price. If I ever have need to rent a place near the Chesapeake Bay again, I will absolutely contact Danielle about Shelby on the Bay! I would recommend this home to anymore looking for a vacation rental in that area!!
