The Space:
There will be landscaping during the day for much of May 16th through May 30th (2026). Please keep this in mind when booking. The landscapers will not need to access the interior of the home, but will be working in the front of the house and backyard.
🏡 This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home sleeps 4 guests comfortably. Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedroom 2 is a detached studio in the private backyard with 2 twin beds, just steps from the main house. The full bathroom features a shower/tub combo and pedestal sink.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with retro-inspired appliances, stone countertops, full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and plenty of cabinet space for groceries. The living room has a sectional sofa, smart TV with streaming, and a bright window seat for reading. WiFi throughout keeps you connected if you need to work remotely.
The private backyard is the heart of outdoor time here, with comfortable seating, a BBQ grill, outdoor dining table, and mature shade trees. Whether you're sipping morning coffee or grilling dinner under the California sun, this space invites you to linger. ☀️ In summer, the nearby beaches and coastal trail are wonderful for tide pooling, whale watching, and sunset walks. The mild year-round climate makes Pacific Grove a dream destination in every season.
Street parking is available first come, first served. No in-unit laundry, but a laundromat is 2-3 blocks away.
🐾 Dogs welcome (maximum 2). This home is available for long-term stays of 28+ days only.
Guest Access:
Check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival. Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Please monitor all posted signs for any restrictions. No garage or driveway parking. The home is easily accessible year-round with standard vehicles.
The Neighborhood:
🚶 Lovers Point Beach is a 5-minute walk from the front door, offering tide pools, sandy shores, and stunning Monterey Bay views. The Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail runs right through Pacific Grove and connects you to Monterey and beyond. Point Pinos Lighthouse, the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the West Coast, is about a 10-minute walk.
Downtown Pacific Grove's 19th-century cottages, local shops, and cafes are within easy walking distance. Drive 5 minutes to downtown Monterey for Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Jacks Peak Park is a 15-minute drive for hiking with panoramic views. 🍺 Local seafood restaurants and boutiques line the streets of both Pacific Grove and Monterey, giving you an authentic slice of coastal California life without the tourist crowds.
Getting Around:
Pacific Grove is located along Highway 68, which connects directly to Highway 1 and the broader Monterey Peninsula. The home is about 5 minutes by car to downtown Monterey, 15 minutes to Carmel-by-the-Sea, and 20 minutes to Pebble Beach. Monterey Regional Airport is a 15-minute drive. San Francisco is roughly 2 hours north via Highway 1 or Highway 101. Big Sur's dramatic coastline begins about 30 minutes south on Highway 1.

Great location, comfortable furniture, and the layout worked well for us. Only downside was we had to clean up the yard ourselves in order to use it, and we don’t understand why the washer/dryer are not included since they are on the premises.

Spent the entire month here for our 35th year anniversary. No problem with parking and was able to park in front of property the whole time. Everything is in walking distance lovers point, great restaurants, grocery store and great boutiques on Lighthouse. I can only say positive things about this propertyCan't wait to come back next year

Perfect location, perfect home for our stay
We rented Aldrich House for the month of February. We have vacationed in PG many times and wanted to experience it like locals. The home is a block away from Lover's Point, where I would walk the dog every morning. Then less than 3 blocks to Lighthouse Avenue and great restaurants, coffee shops, a bookstore, and more. The home itself was comfortable with all amenities we needed, and very cute! The backyard space with the firepit was very comfortable and inviting. And the side cottage was great for guests and having a separate private room for zoom calls/business. And thankful I had the garage for my bike and golf clubs. Kyle was a great property manager and took care of all of our needs promptly. I would happily rent there again.

Upon arrival, some areas not clean. Refrigerator had not been cleaned out. Twin Beds in adjacent space were crazy hard and very uncomfortable and not workable for adults. Back yard didn’t appear to have been cleaned up recently. Tons of debris from the trees No gas for grill Very low bed in primary bedroom so not good for anyone with joint issues Electric “deposit” isn’t really a deposit but an additional fee. Was not shown in the payment summary.
