Behind the brick facade of this farmhouse lies a completely restructured quality home with beautiful vaulted ceilings and contemporary design interiors. The Villa Gelsi is the perfect getaway for a relaxing and gourmet vacation, a spacious home (400 m²) for 8 people in 4 air conditioned bedrooms, divided over two cottages with an internal courtyard:
- The main house ground floor is composed of a fully equipped kitchen with island and beautiful large wooden table, a cosy living room with couches and TV and reading corner, a bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower.
- The main house first floor has a bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with two single beds and TV and playstation, a bathroom with tub, a bathroom with shower. Access to the outdoor terrace with table, fussball table and ping-pong table.
- The internal courtyards connecting the two houses has a covered terrace with table and relaxing hammock.
- The second house main floor features a second smaller kitchen with TV and music system and round table for tastings, and access to the hidden wine cellar (read this surprise a bit more below).
- The second house first floor has a lounge area with TV, and a bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower.
- The amazing wine cellar is an curved, long hallway with an extensive collection of wines and prosecco, leading from the main floor out to the garden and pool area.

Outside you can enjoy your sunny private garden (600 m²) with green lawn and swimming pool, organize delicious dinners or fire up the barbecue for unforgettable evenings.

The Villa Gelsi is located in the small village of Calliano Monferrato within walking distance of the center with a few bars and restaurants and local grocery store. Monferrato is one of the key areas of the famous Piedmont region and, extending over hilly areas towards the area of the Langhe, is one of the most important wine producing zones in Italy. The Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont is inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List thanks to the outstanding value of its wine culture. Each small town that overlooks these beautiful hills has its own story to tell with castles, sanctuaries & monasteries. The territory is rich in great wines and excellent food is the rule.

RENTAL CONDITIONS - VILLA GELSI:
Included:
Welcome hamper and basic pantry items (olive oil, spices, pasta, sauce etc), utilities, cleaning (twice per week), bed linen and bathroom towels (change twice per week), air conditioning in the bedrooms, wireless internet, smart TV, playstation, music sound systems, dishwasher, washer and dryer, wine cellar, baby bed and high chair, garden, ping pong, fussball table, barbecue (gas), swimming pool (5 x 10m; depth 1,3 - 2,4m), parking (one garage and more outside), EV charger

Extra to be paid:
- Security deposit by bank transfer to the owner (refundable): 1000 euro
- Heating (seasonal): 60 euro per day
- Wine cellar: bottles consumed charged at check-out
- Tourist tax: to check upon arrival if applicable

Arrival and departure:
Minimum stay of 7 nights in high season.
Minimum stay of 3 nights outside of the high season.

Note:
- Swimming pool approximately open from mid-May to end September; contact us for the exact dates before booking.
- Domestic animals not allowed.
- Parties or events not allowed.
