Clean and easy vacation.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wilds Dunes is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay the entire week but did decide to leave a day early. Getting out to the beach was very easy. There is a little water that stands that we waded through each time to go out, but it was really nice. The unit was clean and had all that we needed. It was very durable. The decor was coastal. If you like a soft bed I would recommend bringing something to lay on top of the bed as it is very firm. We found the screened porch table very durable and nice looking as well. However we did sit in our beach chairs for some comfort on the porch.

A great getaway

My wife and 3 kids (7,5,2) stayed for 4 nights.I was a little skeptical upon arrival.While the unit is clean, it is definitely showing some wear and tear. Bathroom is quite outdated and toilet shows signs of damage from a lot of usage. Doors, patio and windows all seem pretty old and beat up. We could also smell the last renters food still when we walked in with our luggage.However, the food smell went away and the wear and tear became a none issue as the functionality and proximity to the beach far outweighed any of that!King bed in bedroom fit myself and 7 and 5 year olds. Pull out couch fit my wife and 2 year old.Usage of the Port-O-Call pool was great too. However, it wasn't heated so quite cold given that nights still get down to single digits in April. Beach chair and umbrella rental company was fantastic. Book the night before at 7PM and our stuff was on the beach the next day by 8AM. Not cheap but helpful especially for those flying in who can't use their own beach stuff.While the location is amazing for Beach and Pool access, there isn't really anywhere walkable to get food or pickup quickly. You need to either drive to Wild Dunes resort (20+ min walk for adults) or drive outside the gates to Sullivan's Island, Shems Creek or Mount Pleasant which I highly reco. The food options on IOP are surprisingly not great even if you could walk. Sullivans- Home Town BBQShems Creek - Reds for drinks and a grouper sandwichMount Pleasant - Tons of options!We'll be back!

The Port O Call complex is in a nice location. This particular condo was clean and looks nice. However, the couch was the most UNCOMFORTABLE piece of furniture we have every seen or used! The springs are broke and the cushions have large indentations in them. If the owners are willing to accept payment for use of their condo, they should at least have a couch that is suitable to sit on. This is the first time we have stayed in Port O Call. My recommendation would be to stay on the third floor. This unit is on the second floor and you can hear everything from the unit above.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and kitchen was well equipped. I would not rent this condo again due to the furniture. The sofas were not comfortable at all to sit on, old and needs replacing. We had some older guests and the tub was dangerous due to the high sides, I had to purchase a handicap side rail to be able to safely get in and out. If furniture was changed and some type of safety rail on bathtub this would be a great condo. Views of the beach were beautiful from the porch.
