Nuestro nuevo barndominium de una habitación (King de gran tamaño y sofá cama Queen y una cama con dos camas plegables) ofrece una estadía cómoda. Abundante vida salvaje e impresionantes vistas desde los porches cubiertos. Completo con asador y comedor al aire libre y una ducha al aire libre. Perfecto para comidas familiares.
Bueno para parejas, aventureros en solitario, viajeros de negocios y familias (con niños).

Absolutely amazing. The host is out of this world and the most down to earth people you’ll ever meet. The property is super cute and full of farm animals. The sleeping quarters were excellent. The outdoor shower is a neat bonus. We will definitely be back next time we visit the shiner area.Cheers

The owners live on the property and greeted us when we arrived. The “barndominium” is super nice inside with many thoughtful amenities. It is exactly as described. The only negative is we wish we could have stayed longer.

A Piece of Heaven on Earth

We wanted a place that was private, quiet and peaceful, and this rental turned out to be the perfect choice! The view of the countryside from our patio went on for miles. Always had a nice breeze! The farm animals were fun to watch, and the dogs were sweet and friendly. Our apartment was fresh and clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well stocked, if you want to cook at home. The drive into Shiner is quick and easy. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

Best little goat farm in Texas!

We had an amazing stay at the Byrds Nest. James and Marty, the owners, were very gracious and excellent hosts. The property is beautiful and a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They have goats, peacocks, guinea fowl, turkeys, chickens and even a pig to hang out with. The goats are very friendly as are all the critters on the place. The barndominium is beautifully decorated and very clean. Beds were comfortable and you have all the comforts of home. We plan on going back, it was an excellent experience and highly recommended!

Nature, comfortable and clean

We had a wonderful time! We fell in love with the 3 blue healers. Rocky, Shiner and Bebe. They were so sweet and we played with them a lot at night. The property is beautiful and out in nature. Loooved the outdoor shower. They have goats, chickens, roosters, it was so neat. James was so kind and he and helped us with directions to the local grocery store, Patek’s. It’s small but has everything you need. Also has great deli/butcher shop in the back. James also had a cheesecake waiting for us for our anniversary. We will definitely be back. We absolutely loved it!

We had an amazing weekend at the Birds Nest. Extremely relaxing! Shiner is a cute little town. The brewery/distillery is a must along with the Shiner Palace Saloon it has outstanding food and drinks. Marty and James are wonderful host and owners. Their property is clean and well maintain.

Great Country Get-Away

We had a very quiet and relaxing stay at the Byrd’s Nest. The apartment was lovely and very spacious. We walked in and saw an anniversary cake awaiting us. What a thoughtful surprise! We also enjoyed a delicious jar of honey. The hospitality extended to us by Marty and James went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again!

First family road trip!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with our 6 month old baby. We wanted a place fun for the family, low key and relatively close to home as it was our daughter’s first road trip. James and Marty were amazing hosts! They were available when needed and always gave us our privacy. Their property was exactly what we were looking for. Friendly animals, small country town vibe, hanging by the fire at night with amazing views of the stars.. it was just what this suburban family needed. Thank you Byrds for sharing your home with us!

A treat for family from big city!

We were in Shiner for a wedding. Our kids LOVED seeing and touching the animals and didn't want to leave. The hosts were so very kind - went out of their way to locate cuff links for my husband which he forgot at home. Wow. Everything was so great and we would definitely stay again.
