The Riverbend Bar! HUGE views w Hot tub, less than 1 mile from town!

Welcome to the Riverbend Bar! A luxurious stay with the best views in the valley including a private hot tub... and less than 1 mile from town! You'll have direct access from the front door to groomed nordic skiing (walking and snow biking permitted as well). In the summertime, The Deli Trail is adjacent to the property and allows for walking and biking directly to town!

Technically we're a duplex but our home truly lives like a single family home. The builder was incredibly thoughtful in his design where either side won't see or hear the other unit. Our deck, hot tub and backyard are NOT shared, this is only available to you :) Our adjoining neighbors are absolutely amazing so if you happen to see them coming or going you'll want to say hi! Our property is a quiet and peaceful place that we thoroughly enjoy and know you will too!

Our home is built around cozy vibes, big views and incredible access to the outdoors. You can walk, ski or bike right into town (or a 2 min drive). Alternatively there's a bus stop right at the corner that will take you to town or continue straight up to the base area of the resort. Included in the rental is a single parking space in the attached, HEATED garage. There is ample additional parking outside on the driveway. You'll be able to store all your gear in the garage (ski racks and boot dryer included) along with the attached mudroom.

The downstairs is wonderful open floor plan incorporating the living, dining and kitchen areas, perfect for entertaining. You'll find yourself enjoining a peaceful morning with your coffee contemplating life among the majestic peaks. In the afternoon, just unwind after a full day of skiing with some tunes on the full-home Sonos system. A great evening of movies on the 83" TV w surround sound...cozied up on the big sectional sofa. Our home is a great place for quality time with your favorite people!

We do our best to stock our home with everything you might need to make your stay the most memorable possible (and if there's something you find is missing, please let us know!). The kitchen is well stocked for all the meals you'll want to prepare both big and small. Casual eating and gathering at the kitchen bar area or the bistro table can accommodate up to 6 for a seated meal. Conveniently located on the main floor is a spacious powder room.

Directly off the great room, the french doors open to a large 2 level deck, including an in-line gas grill (no refilling propane tanks). A guest favorite is our beautiful 6 person hot tub, perfectly oriented to take in the most jaw dropping views you can imagine. Watch the weather unfold before you, the nordic skiers zipping across the valley floor or the stars exploding at night... this tub is a special one!

Moving upstairs and turning to your left you'll find an enormous master suite. A premium king bed (with 2 zone mattress heater!) takes in the entire valley wide views with 6 oversized windows. A lovely reading nook invites you to slow down and dig into that book you've been waiting to enjoy. A large flatscreen TV centers the wall if you decide a movie in bed sounds ideal. Two large walk-in closets with Elfa storage systems flank the bed and provide ample storage. On the opposite side of the room you'll find a large en-suite bathroom including a separate toilet room, dual sink vanity, jetted tub (w stunning views) and a large 2 head shower. You may never want to leave this private retreat!

Turning to the right at the top of the stairs you'll first past the closet w the washer/dryer set handling all your laundry needs during your stay. When not in use they conveniently disappear from sight with the doors closed.

Continuing on, the first guest bedroom offers a super cozy vibe with lots of natural light from the south facing window. Additionally, you'll find a desk with views, a large shelving unit and closet for storing all your goods. For entertainment, there is a Sonos speaker as well as a flat screen wall mounted TV.

Separating the 2 guest bedrooms is the spacious full bathroom complete with a large shower/tub if you prefer a private soak!

The second guest bedroom is large by any standards and provides beautiful south and west facing views with the 3 large sets of windows. If you're still in need of some cardio there's a Peloton bike available for use (please bring your own clipless shoes and have an account). You'll have plenty of room to store all your clothes and gear with the large dresser and closet space. Need to get some work done? Plenty of room with the comfortable desk to spread out on. A cozy reading space with a love seat rounds out this lovely retreat! As with the other bedrooms, a Sonos speaker and flat scren TV are there to enjoy as well :)

Riverbend offers the best of both worlds being so close to town yet offering a bit more privacy and peace. It's a wonderful, local's neighborhood to stroll around for a morning walk or just enjoy the 360 degree views including the iconic Mt Crested Butte.

For the nordic skiing fans out there, this is THE place for you with direct access from the property. The Trails continue onward for hours of skiing offering cruisers to the most challenging black diamonds ("Mordor" is a personal favorite!). Please note, you will need to purchase a Nordic pass if you go beyond the Town Ranch loop. Visit CB Nordic for maps and more information.

Those interested in trying out nordic (skate or classic), snow biking or snow shoeing (we provide several sets) can do so from the front door (ski and bike rental options in town). The "Town Ranch" section adjoining our property to town also permits walking for a beautiful stroll on the winter landscape.

We provide a self check-in process and will be in touch with you directly to ensure you have a great holiday. SUMMER PREVIEW!!!

While the nordic trails are long gone, we are equally blessed to have the Deli Trail adjoining the property. This path connects directly to town for a nice stroll or bike pedal... from there, the options are literally endless. Likewise, you can take The Deli Trail south (across the street from the property) which leads you into Skyland and then Brush Creek with a lifetime of exploring to be had! Just forget about the car :)

The Riverbend Bar offers massive outdoor living to enjoy the magical high country summers. An enormous, 2 level deck provides dining and lounging throughout. Flowing past the deck, the stairs lead you to an irrigated lawn where you can enjoy yard time and an outdoor fire (conditions permitting) under the brilliant star studded skies.

Our location not only frames the most fabulous views imaginable but provides direct access to your daily adventures. If you're on a bike, you could enjoy you're entire stay without ever needing to use your car :) If you'd like to use a car to access trail heads, most are only minutes away by car. Need a soak? We have the Slate River that runs from town just past the house, into Skyland which is a local favorite to SUP/float. Additionally, Lake Irwin is a majestic high alpine lake only a short drive away. And for you anglers, the entire Crested Butte/Gunnison Valley has some of the most epic waters you will find anywhere (along w great shops/guides in town).
